What's in the INC Logo?

Finally we found an attempt to explain the INC Logo. Note, this explanation from one of its members (probably a Minister himself) is not official. See below. (Thanks to readmeinc dot blogspot dot com).
1. The bird is the dove or Holy Spirit
2. The flame is the light of salvation
3. The shield is the shield of faith
4. The scale represents the equality of the justice of God;
5. The crown is the crown of eternal life
6. The lamb is the Lord Jesus Christ
7. The book is the Bible
8. The two scrolls seen in the Bible represent the OT and NT;
9. The upside down triangle means the equality of the members or brotherhood (Mt. 23:8);
10. White is holiness
11. Green is love
12. Red is courage
The logo of the INC has been used since 1919 but only appeared on its buildings of worship since the 1950s

On the contrary, here's what was thought about their logo (source: PinoyExchange.com)

On this image below, you’ll see a craftily “hidden” pattern of a “pentagram” on the compass and square. Observe really closely.
On this image below, you’ll see the scale, interlaced compass and square, and the craftily “hidden” pentagram. Now, this is a third coincidence already between the stark similarities between INC and Freemasonry. What do you call a 3rd coincidence? Is there such a thing in this world? Deliberate, copied, or just coincidence? Or, perhaps, they are the same institution!
Now, we see here on the image below a torch on top of the compass. Combining the craftily hidden pentagram here with the torch we have this, observe closely and take note:
We see here on the image below, a torch on top of the pentagram, with the torch in “drawing form”. Observe and take note.

And here is another from PinoyCatholic

Which is fairly explained by MonksHobbit.

The interlaced square and compass denotes Freemasonry
1. The crown at the center denotes the Order of Amaranth, a fraternal organization of master masons and their properly qualified female relatives
2. The compass, inverted triangle, and legs denotes the Order of the Eastern Star
3. The light rays at the background denotes the sun god.
4. The scales of justice denotes the Scales of Maat, the Egyptian goddess of truth, order, balance, and justice
5. The bible inside the inverted triangle and compass refers to the use of the bible in masonic lodge for swearing oaths
6. The dove and the color white denotes purity and innocence
7. The color red denotes courage, zeal, and blood of life–the color of Royal Arch Masonry
8. The color green denotes spiritual initiation into the high mysteries of life and god
9. The color blue recalls the dome of the heavens which denotes universal brotherhood and friendship
10. The inverted triangle points to the 22nd ray which probably signifies a 22nd degree mason–Knight of the Royal Axe.

To be fair to INC, I’ll try to provide a biblical meaning to the INC logo, with their doctrines in mind:

1. The dove is the dove of Noah. Just as the evil world was washed away by the flood and a new world was born, so was the apostate Catholic Church was abandoned by God and He established a new church, Iglesia ni Cristo, at the end of time.
2. The sun’s rays and the bible denotes the Prologue of John: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things came to be through him, and without him nothing came to be. What came to be through him was life, and this life was the light of the human race; the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” (Jn 1:1-5) Surprisingly, this passage proves the divinity of Christ, which INC does not believe.
3. The lamb and dove denotes the Baptism of Christ: “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world. He is the one of whom I said, ‘A man is coming after me who ranks ahead of me because he existed before me.’ I did not know him, but the reason why I came baptizing with water was that he might be made known to Israel.” John testified further, saying, “I saw the Spirit come down like a dove from the sky and remain upon him. I did not know him, but the one who sent me to baptize with water told me, ‘On whomever you see the Spirit come down and remain, he is the one who will baptize with the holy Spirit.’” Surprisingly, the INC also does not believe on the divinity of the Holy Spirit.
4. The Triangle denotes the Dogma of the Holy Trinity, which states that there are three Persons in one God. Christ himself gave the following Trinitarian formula for Bapstism: “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.” (Mt 28:19-20). Surprisingly, INC does not believe on the Trinity.

Thus, INC uses Christian symbols, but does not believe on the meaning of the symbols. (The INC has not still provided an official interpretation of their logo).

Now, where is the Sign of the Cross? I cannot find any.

1. “Then he called to the man dressed in linen with the writer’s case at his waist, saying to him: Pass through the city (through Jerusalem) and mark an X on the foreheads of those who moan and groan over all the abominations that are practiced within it. To the others I heard him say: Pass through the city after him and strike! Do not look on them with pity nor show any mercy! Old men, youths and maidens, women and children–wipe them out! But do not touch any marked with the X; begin at my sanctuary. So they began with the men (the elders) who were in front of the temple.” The Hebrew letter X is Tav (or Taw) whose ancient form is the cross †, from which came the Greek letter Tau .
2. “If anyone wishes to come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily 11 and follow me. For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it.” (Lk 9:23-24)
3. “If anyone says to you then, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or, ‘There he is!’ do not believe it. False messiahs and false prophets will arise, and they will perform signs and wonders so great as to deceive, if that were possible, even the elect. Behold, I have told it to you beforehand. So if they say to you, ‘He is in the desert,’ do not go out there; if they say, ‘He is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it. For just as lightning comes from the east and is seen as far as the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be. Wherever the corpse is, there the vultures will gather. “Immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken. And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming upon the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. And he will send out his angels 18 with a trumpet blast, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.” (Mt 24:23-31) The sign of the Son of Man is the cross because his corpse hung there.
4. “For Christ did not send me to baptize but to preach the gospel, and not with the wisdom of human eloquence, so that the cross of Christ might not be emptied of its meaning. The message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and the learning of the learned I will set aside.” Where is the wise one? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has not God made the wisdom of the world foolish? For since in the wisdom of God the world did not come to know God through wisdom, it was the will of God through the foolishness of the proclamation to save those who have faith. For Jews demand signs and Greeks look for wisdom, but we proclaim Christ crucified, a stumbling block to Jews and foolishness to Gentiles, but to those who are called, Jews and Greeks alike, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.” (1 Cor 1:17-24)

So why is there no Sign of the Cross in the INC logo? Is INC inviting the wrath of God to destroy its members starting from its temples? Does INC wish to follow Christ but without a cross in its temples to carry? Does INC await the coming of Christ but thinks that the Sign of the Son of Man is not the cross but a compass? Does INC wish to proclaim the cross of Christ like St. Paul or rather the message of Felix Y. Manalo, whom they consider as an angel? As St. Paul said: “But there are some who are disturbing you and wish to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach (to you) a gospel other than the one that we preached to you, let that one be accursed! As we have said before, and now I say again, if anyone preaches to you a gospel other than the one that you received, let that one be accursed!” (Gal 1:7-9). Lucifer is also an angel of light because in Latin, the word “Lucifer” means “Light-Bringer” (from lux, lucis, “light”, and ferre, “to bear, bring”). Lucifer is he whom the Freemasons worship. As Christ said: “And if the light in you is darkness, how great will the darkness be.” (Mt 6:23)

And lastly, here's what Pinoy Catholic notices in the INC Logo: here and pasugo-1914.  Any originality in their logo?

  1. Greetings! First, please let me laugh, hahahaha!. That was so funny! You'll do anything to tear apart INC. You even came up with this hilarious illustrations. Stars here and there. It's like cutting pieces of unrelated pictures to come up with a new one. And let's say it's true, why the hell we care? Haha. What's with the INC that we Catholics are afraid of? Or are we just envy? I admire them in reference with their unity. But WE CATHOLICS?... nyaahhh... We don't even have strong ties which binds us as one, as a whole. But look at them, the way their leaders manage its organization... we're way too far behind. One of the reason why sometimes I don't attend "MISA" is because most people are doing it for social purposes, and there's a lot of chi-chatting going on. INC's are not like that. They even have a dress code. What's with the INC that WE CATHOLICS are so annoyed of?... right?

  2. Thanks for visiting my blog. Actually this realization about the INC logo is really funny. Nobody knows exactly what was it coz they (the INC admin) has no official say on their logo. So laugh as much as you want to because we did burst in laughter when we first came to know about this.

We do appreciate if you had come here and showed us what we don't know about your logo and explain it with reason (not by sarcasm for it won't work).

Most ignorant Catholics, I mean ex-Catholics do not understand the biblical essence of the Mass so they seem to go to the MISA just to fulfill their religious dutie... it was more than that. I am a Catholic and sorry to say, I always admired the beauty of the celebration regardless of how many ignorant Catholics making chit-chat inside the Church. I visit the Church not for them anyway... that was what you did when you were yet an ignorant Catholic...

Of course, INC is not like that coz we Catholics do not have revered angel or Last Sugo. We have Jesus Christ who founded the Church and you have Felix Manalo who founded your church, incorporated it in July 27, 1914. Clearly it is stated in your registration that Felix did found a church called "Iglesia ni Cristo."

Dress Code? Well you copied them from LDS and Mormons, got nothing to be proud coz all your practices were mereley copied from Felix former affiliation to Protestant churches..

Need to instruct you further? nah, INC don't value sound teachings anyway... sayang lang.

    God bless.

    1. I rather be an INC member than being Catholic coz' it was true that the Church of Christ (Iglesia ni Cristo) is the real name of the true church read Matthew 16:18 Jesus said to Peter "And I tell you that you are Peter , and on this rock I will build my church" and it was really clear that the bible says the Church of Christ or Iglesia ni Cristo so that's the best doctrine i've heared that I never heared in the "MISA" every sunday even friday don't deny it I know that every day there is a mass but as i come to the church I din't even felt the presence of God their but after I turned INC I felt something unexplainable and I fell so lucky Promise not even a lie it's true

  6. Very funny it is.

I admire the Catholics for having a misa with gift presents (noodles, canned goods) to their priests in our school.

I admire the Catholics for having some sort of fund raising through a "box" begging like a beggar that strolls around our campus.

I admire the Catholics for worshipping stone/wooden image by their so-called God.

I admire the Catholics for a last resort of raising money while Catholic members are paying tribute to their dead ones. Special/ordinary? What the heck is that.? A food?

I like the Catholics the way their Council change some rules/teachings based on unbiblical teachings.

I like the way Catholics eat blood like a vampire.

I like the way Catholics invent new rules based on their own teaching..by who?

And finally, I like the way they insist in doing their own things without second thought.

  7. ITSacay,

Praise God, you're being exposed to the Catholic Church celebration of the Eucharist which Christ instituted.

It is funnier when all you saw were noodles when the celebration is focused on the Body and Blood of Christ in the form of Bread and Wine. You chose to highlight the insignificant.

Thanks for admiring our nothingness. As you see, we need to beg since we do not make business of the Church of Christ. It is not a REGISTERED TRADEMARK that we have to market. It is funnier when you laugh at our effort to live dcent lives rather than force people to attend Thursday and Sunday samba just to make money?

Thank you for thinking we have gods in the form of stones and woods. Perhaps you also think that Felix Manalo's stone statue was FELIX MANALO himself. Your failure to apply double standards in judging Christ's Church-the Catholic Church is even funnier. See for yourself the image of Felix Manalo in Central and tell us why you decided to build an image of Felix in the form of stone?

Thank you for carefully selecting some distorted versions of History interpreted by your Ministers who were never witness to historical events when they had unfolded. The Catholic Church has been there literally every event in history so we should know our history more than your ministers. It is really funnier when you are actually magnifying your ignorance by announcing it to the world. Good heavens, you didn't write your real name in posting.

Thanks for believing that we actually changed our doctrines. So the original teachings is being taught in the Iglesia ni Cristo? So who changes which? A Church that has been there since 33AD or a church that was founded in 1914?

There is something which your ministers didnt tell you.

    Credibility and truthfulness!

Oh by the way, thanks to your official Magazine Pasugo for acknowledging the CATHOLIC CHURCH IS THE TRUE CHURCH OF CHRIST... Pasugo April 1966, p. 46.

  9. Desperate Roman Catholic Church Trys to Poach Anglicans

The recent announcements from the Vatican regarding the new policy of accepting disaffected Anglicans into the RC Church, should be viewed for what they are.... POACHING!
We would like to remind our readers that in previous cases, particularly in the USA the RC Church has set up a few congregations in what they have referred to as the "Anglican Rite".
Anglicans beware, there is really only one thing that this offer boils down to...SUBMISSION TO ROME!
Did not the Reformation occur precisely to get away from the corruption of the Papacy?
When you think about this offer.... BEWARE...The Vatican never makes an offer which does not have rich benefits in it for them.

  11. Near the end of the Middle Ages, corruption in the Catholic Church was a serious dilemma. Members of the clergy were supposed to be well educated, but many priests were illiterate and barely knew how to perform common religious services. Also, priest and nuns in spite of taking vows of chastity engaged in sexual relationships. Even the popes, innocent VIII and Alexander VI, fathered and raised children. Many of the abbots and bishops exploited their positions to lead lives of luxury and leisure. They resembled princes before humble servants of god. The cardinals of Rome lived in magnificent palaces and wore jewel-encrusted gold robes.

The Church came up with several corrupt methods to pay for these luxurious lifestyles. The church told its people that pilgrimages to sites of relics and holy places were suitable ways to repent for their sins. During the later years of the Middle Ages, some clergy took advantage of this tradition and charged people to see holy relics. Frederick I, a prince in northern Germany, had a compilation of over seventeen thousand relics that supposedly included a piece of Moses' burning bush, thirty three fragments of Jesus' cross, and some straw from Jesus' manger. The money from pilgrimages to these relics paid for the building of a cathedral, a castle, and a university in Frederick's kingdom. Simony (which is the practice of selling church items to the highest bidder regardless of the buyer's religious background or teachings) was another practice that earned money for the Church.

The most profitable and controversial of the corrupt practices used to raise money for the Church was the selling of indulgences. In the beginning, an indulgence was just a certificate given by the pope to a person whose sins had been forgiven. This certificate was intended to cancel some or all of the punishment a person would suffer after death for their sins. Though it was never officially stated by the church, many members of clergy taught that salvation was attained simply through the purchase of enough indulgences.

  12. The "rotteness" of the Roman Catholic Church was at the heart of Martin Luther's attack on it in 1517 when he wrote the "95 Theses" thus sparking off the German Reformation.

In 1500 the Roman Catholic Church was all powerful in western Europe. There was no legal alternative. The Catholic Church jealously guarded its position and anybody who was deemed to have gone against the Catholic Church was labelled a heretic and burnt at the stake. The Catholic Church did not tolerate any deviance from its teachings as any appearance of ‘going soft’ might have been interpreted as a sign of weakness which would be exploited.

Why was the Roman Catholic Church so powerful?

Its power had been built up over the centuries and relied on ignorance and superstition on the part of the populace. It had been indoctrinated into the people that they could only get to heaven via the church.

    ReplyDelete
  13. This gave a priest enormous power at a local level on behalf of the Catholic Church. The local population viewed the local priest as their ‘passport’ to heaven as they knew no different and had been taught this from birth by the local priest. Such a message was constantly being repeated to ignorant people in church service after church service. Hence keeping your priest happy was seen as a prerequisite to going to heaven.

This relationship between people and church was essentially based on money - hence the huge wealth of the Catholic Church. Rich families could buy high positions for their sons in the Catholic Church and this satisfied their belief that they would go to heaven and attain salvation. However, a peasant had to pay for a child to be christened (this had to be done as a first step to getting to heaven as the people were told that a non-baptised child could not go to heaven); you had to pay to get married and you had to pay to bury someone from your family in holy ground.

To go with this, you would be expected to give to the church via the collection at the end of each service (as God was omnipresent he would see if anyone cheated on him), you had to pay tithes (a tenth of your annual income had to be paid to the church which could be either in money or in kind such as seed, animals etc.) and you were expected to work on church land for free for a specified number of days per week. The days required varied from region to region but if you were working on church land you could not be working on your own land growing food etc. and this could be more than just an irritant to a peasant as he would not be producing for his family or preparing for the next year.

    ReplyDelete
  14. However, unfair and absurd this might appear to someone now it was the accepted way of life in 1500 as this was how it had always been and no-one knew any different and very few were willing to speak out against the Catholic Church as the consequences were too appalling to contemplate.

You were told that if you did not go to heaven then the likelihood was that your soul had been condemned to Hell. Heresy was visibly punished with public burnings which you were expected to attend. John Huss was accused of heresy and granted a safe passage to Constance in modern Switzerland to defend himself at trial. He never got his trial as he was arrested regardless of his guarantee of a safe passage by the Catholic Church and burnt in public.

The Catholic Church also had a three other ways of raising revenue.

  15. yeah whos making money here? Relics: These were officially sanctioned by the Vatican. They were pieces of straw, hay, white feathers from a dove, pieces of the cross etc. that could be sold to people as the things that had been the nearest to Jesus on Earth. The money raised went straight to the church and to the Vatican. These holy relics were keenly sought after as the people saw their purchase as a way of pleasing God. It also showed that you had honoured Him by spending your money on relics associated with his son.

  17. oh here you go take this for your reference and save your money so that when your ready to be forgiven for sinning against God as you have been since you were born you just might be forgive.. but God said no money, gold nor silver will spare you from God's wrath

Indulgences: These were ‘certificates’ produced in bulk that had been pre-signed by the pope which pardoned a person’s sins and gave you access to heaven. Basically if you knew that you had sinned you would wait until a pardoner was in your region selling an indulgence and purchase one as the pope, being God’s representative on Earth, would forgive your sins and you would be pardoned. This industry was later expanded to allow people to buy an indulgence for a dead relative who might be in purgatory or Hell and relieve that relative of his sins. By doing this you would be seen by the Catholic Church of committing a Christian act and this would elevate your status in the eyes of God.

    ReplyDelete
  18. Pilgrimages: These were very much supported by the Catholic Church as a pilgrim would end up at a place of worship that was owned by the Catholic Church and money could be made by the sale of badges, holy water, certificates to prove you had been etc. and completed your journey.

  21. The Plain Truth about
    the Roman Catholic Church

The Roman Catholic Church claims to have started in Matthew 16:18 when Christ supposedly appointed Peter as the first Pope. However, the honest and objective student of the Scriptures and history soon discovers that the foundation of the Roman church is none other than the pagan mystery religion of ancient Babylon.

While enduring the early persecutions of the Roman government (65-300 A.D.), most of professing Christianity went through a gradual departure from New Testament doctrine concerning church government, worship and practice. Local churches ceased to be autonomous by giving way to the control of "bishops" ruling over hierarchies. The simple form of worship from the heart was replaced with the rituals and splendor of paganism. Ministers became "priests," and pagans became "Christians" by simply being sprinkled with water. This tolerance of an unregenerate membership only made things worse. SPRINKLED PAGANISM is about the best definition for Roman Catholicism.

    ReplyDelete
  22. The Roman Emperor Constantine established himself as the head of the church around 313 A.D., which made this new "Christianity" the official religion of the Roman Empire. The first actual Pope in Rome was probably Leo I (440-461 A.D.), although some claim that Gregory I was the first (590-604 A.D.). This ungodly system eventually ushered in the darkest period of history known to man, properly known as the "Dark Ages" (500-1500 A.D.). Through popes, bishops, and priests, Satan ruled Europe, and Biblical Christianity became illegal.

Throughout all of this, however, there remained individual groups of true Christians, such as the Waldensens and the Anabaptists who would not conform to the Roman system.

    ReplyDelete
  23. e Papacy and Priesthood

In the Bible there are no popes or priests to rule over the church. Jesus Christ is our High Priest (Heb. 3:1; 4:14-15; 5:5; 8:1; 9:11), and all true Christians make up a spiritual priesthood (I Pet. 2:5). Jesus Christ has sanctified all Christians who believe on Him (Heb. 10:10-11), so all priests today are unnecessary and unscriptural. Furthermore, the practice of calling a priest "father" is forbidden by Jesus Christ in Matthew 23:9. There is only ONE mediator between God and men (I Tim. 2:5).

The Catholic church teaches that Peter was the first Pope and the earthly head of the church, but the Bible never says this once. In fact, it was Peter himself who spoke against "being lords over God's heritage" in I Peter 5:3. Popes do not marry, although Peter did (Mat. 8:14; I Cor. 9:5). The Bible never speaks of Peter being in Rome, and it was Paul, not Peter, who wrote the epistle to the Romans. In the New Testament, Paul wrote 100 chapters with 2,325 verses, while Peter wrote only 8 chapters with 166 verses. In Peter's first epistle he stated that he was simply "an apostle of Jesus Christ," not a Pope (I Pet. 1:1). The Roman papacy and priesthood is just a huge fraud to keep members in bondage to a corrupt pagan church.

  25. The Worship of Mary

Roman Catholics believe that Mary, the mother of Jesus, remained a virgin after the birth of Jesus and was sinless all of her life. She is worshiped in the Catholic church as the "Mother of God" and the "Queen of Heaven." St. Bernard stated that she was crowned "Queen of Heaven" by God the Father, and that she currently sits upon a throne in Heaven making intercession for Christians.

The Bible teaches otherwise. In the Bible, Mary was a sinner just like the rest of us. She said herself that she needed a "Saviour" (Lk. 1:47), and she even had to offer a sacrifice for her sins in Luke 2:24. Jesus was only her "firstborn" son, according to Matthew 1:25, because she later had other children as well (Mt. 13:55; Gal. 1:19; Psa. 69:8). There's only ONE mediator between God and men, and it isn't Mary (I Tim. 2:5). The last time we hear from Mary in the Bible she is praying WITH the disciples, not being prayed to BY the disciples (Acts 1:14). The Bible never exalts Mary above anyone else. Neither should we.

  27. Purgatory

The Catholic Church teaches that a Christian's soul must burn in purgatory after death until all of their sins have been purged. To speed up the purging process, money may be paid to a priest so he can pray and have special masses for an earlier release.

This heresy began creeping into the Roman Church during the reign of Pope Gregory around the end of the sixth century, and it has no scriptural support. In fact, Jesus warned us about this pagan practice in Matthew 23:14 when He spoke of those who devoured widows houses and made long prayers for a pretence. Psalm 49:6-7 tells us that a person couldn't redeem a loved one, even if such a place did exist: "They that trust in their wealth, and boast themselves in the multitude of their riches; None of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him:"

Peter addresses this issue in Acts 8:20 when he says, "Thy money perish with thee, because thou hast thought that the gift of God may be purchased with money." God's word is clearly against the doctrine of purgatory.

  28. Image Worship

The Catholic religion is filled with all sorts of symbols, images, and relics. The Catechism of the Council of Trent states these words:

"It is lawful to have images in the Church, and to give honor and worship unto them..."

It's lawful to honor and worship images? Not according to God's word. Exodus 20:4-5 says, "Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me." Image worship is unscriptural and will end with the eternal damnation of those who practice it (Rev. 14:11).

  31. Catholic Church Corruption in Cebu
Who would have thought that corruption would run that deep in the Philippines? It has run so deep into the veins of its people that even one church in Cebu has left us at our wits’ end.

My best friend made several calls to churches in Cebu as she intends to marry her long time beau, who apparently is not Filipino.

She made calls to Redemptorist, Capitol Parish, Lourdes Parish, Sacred Heart Parish and Alliance of Two Hearts to ask for quotations as to how much it is to have their wedding held there. After visiting these churches, only one church caught her and her fiancé absolutely outraged.

She was originally given the quote of Php 3,000. When she and her fiancé went to the church to make a reservation, they were told it was Php 5,000. Poor bff thought that there was a mistake or miscommunication somehow so she tried explaining herself. She told them that she was given a quote of Php 3,000 over the phone and my oh my, the person in charge (with the presence of a nun) said “well you didn’t say you were getting married to a foreigner!” My best friend and fiancé were waiting for the nun (of course as she is supposedly of higher authority in the church) for any reaction. Lo and behold, she played deaf.

My bestie then started asking if they are indeed Catholics and asked for higher authority. All the guy could say was “Sorry, that’s just how it is. Even Cathedral charges more for foreigners”. I see this is not true as all the other Catholic churches did not have a different fee for foreigners.

Calling all archbishops, Monsignors and well, Cardinal Vidal: Is this the impression you want to show people on how good the Catholic Church is? I don’t think so.

If you attest, please speak to the parish priest of Alliance of Two Hearts. Shame, shame, shame
and you pagans say we are a corporation hehehe

  33. well that was a long statement big brother, but still you can't if catholics didn't go on missions to spread the Gospel, then your church wouldn't even exist, and you would remain a pagan. The Roman Catholic Church have ups and downs and been battered here and there, but still we remain standing after all this times. Problems arise here and there, scandals, etc etc.. you cannot remain perfect always, there will always come a time that you will fall down, its because of our nature as human. But still, we stand up and remain faithful to the church, for it was not the Bible, but the Church first. The bible came from the Church only around 1000 ad, and the Gospel was preached by word of mouth only, by the Catholic Church. So if it were not because of the Catholics, you wouldn't even know anything at all you faggot!

  34. A true Church can be determined if:

    1. Has Many issues
    2. Many Problems political or social
    3. Other religions are trying to lure it's members by giving false and inappropriate information for them to join their religion
    4. undergone huge problems in history
    5. Some Christian groups are trying to put down it's glory.

    Guess what that Church is?
No other than the Roman Catholic Church
why? Put this in Mind Satan wants to destroy God's glory. Where would Satan go to make ways t destroy the glory of God?
Of course the Roman Catholic Church. But because Christ had never abandoned his Church No matter what Satan would do it will always rise and stand triumphantly.

  35. Oh really?and who formulated that hypothesis right there?of course,it's our genius,keb_17.

FYI, the first two of your so called way of determining the true church can be found in many religions. And number 3,how do you know other religions are trying to lure your members and not saving them from burning in the flames of hell when you can't even make a good reason on why you're on the right religion, and number 4, the only reason why your religion has been there so long,is cause you've murdered those who opposed you in the past ages, finally, where's the glory you we're talking about?

    ReplyDelete
  36. Anonymous, so do you categorically say Jesus lied when he said "the gates of hell will not prevail against" His Church?

So the only reason why the CHURCH has been there for so long is because HE PROMISED!

So please do not fault Jesus of Felix own lies and deceit.

    ReplyDelete
  37. That's true ,Christ has promised to protect his Church from the gates of Hell.
If that's what you think anonymous How come that the Catholic Church is still standing for a thousand years? That's the glory I'm talking about and no other mere Christian religion can dispute the claims of the holy mother Church built by Christ. While your manalo's INC is just sprouting like any other false and anti-Catholic churches in the world. And thriving with the Catholic doctrines.

  38. I HEARD TO RELATIVE OF FELIX BEFORE HE DIED, HE REQUEST A CATHOLIC PRIEST FOR ASKING FORGIVING WHAT HIS DONE AND RECEIVE THE BREAD OF LIFE, HE KNOWS HIS MEMBER BRING TO THE HELL, CAUSE HE KNOWS ALL HIS DOING WAS LIE, EVEN MANALO WAS NOT BAPTIZE IN INC, HE BAPTIZE IN CATHOLIC, CAUSE INC IS ONLY ANTI CATHOLIC

    ReplyDelete
  39. JUST HEARD,BUT NEVER BEEN ASSESSED!

  40. Mr. Anonymous, just accept the fact that your church (INC) are trying to destroy God's church which is the Catholic church..

  41. Catholic Church is never a God's church from the name itself.

  42. While I'm a practising Catholic and all and in no way see any sense in INC’s teachings, I must say that this attempt at extracting Masonic symbolism from INC's logo is quite contrived. Images project a thousand words and it's always possible to force the meaning you want from a logo. Although the most apparent Masonic symbolism that appears in the INC logo is the carpenter’s square, it’s still possible to simply identify it as simply relating to order and harmony, without any Masonic influences.

I have great pride in the Catholic Church and I really don’t see the reason why this blog has to stoop down to this level of pedantic fault-finding. This is the precise thing that I frown upon in the INC and several other sects and denominations—-they resort to shallow and simplistic lookups of verses in the Bible more so to fault other religions than to prove their own point.

Perhaps what this blog can do is to simply explain what the Catholic Church teaches and believes in a friendly and non-hostile matter. It’s worth noting that I haven’t really seen any Catholic that you would expect to be well acquainted with Catholic teachings and doctrines (e.g. catechists, seminarians, priests, nuns, religion teachers) that has subsequently converted to the INC. It’s simply because that once you see clearly the what the Catholic faith is, the beauty of it, you just can’t be convinced by what the INC teaches.

I think we should focus more on that. A majority of Filipinos are Catholic, yes, but I would go on and say a majority of us are sadly just “cultural” Catholics. We’re Catholic simply because we were born into it and the practices of the Catholic faith are well entrenched in Philippine culture. So there really needs to be an effort on part of all Catholics to proclaim what the Catholic Church really teaches.
