Were the Apostles Catholics?

Do you think this Iglesia ni Cristo member can fool us by his tricky question (extracted from my earlier post at INC Conversion story)?

this would be my second time to post and respond to this article.

question: were the apostles members of the apostolic roman catholic church?

My Response:

LAPU-LAPU is regarded by the Philippines as its FIRST FILIPINO HERO who resisted Spanish colonization and killed Portuguese voyager Ferdinand Magellan and his men in 1521 A.D.

The question is: Was LAPU-LAPU a FILIPINO?

But definitely, Jesus and the Apostles were NEVER members of the Iglesia ni Cristo founded by Felix Manalo in 1914 A.D.
