The Catholic Church invented what?... Wait a minute...

Written in HONOR of the FEAST of the SACRED HEART OF JESUS 1-JULY-2011, First Friday.

Catholic Church in Kottakavu, Kerala, India
The Catholic Church invented the doctrine of the Trinity? Because it's not in the Bible?

Hey, wait a minute, did the Catholic Church also invent the Bible? It's not even in the Bible itself.

The reason why I am up against the INC because its members are sooooooo anti-Catholic that they spread rumors, deceiving lies and ill-mannered information about "the Catholic Church" which according to their own Official Magazine PASUGO April 1966, p. 46 is the "true Church of Christ.".

Now here's the deal.  Don't fret out. It's something shared knowledge among INC members. When they attended the "Indoctrination" they should end up HATING the Catholic Church and all its practices. And to some extremes, they are brainwashed to hate Catholics as well. And the only ultimate good deeds they can do is to bring more Catholics to their fold. That's the reason why they should TELL LIES so that those Catholics by name (uncathechized few) will be confused and will hate the Catholic Church.

And before someone would accuse me of insinuating hatred among the INC members, see it for yourself why I shouldn't be getting upset with repeated  sharing of MISINFORMATION, in forums and even in Facebook by member of the Iglesia ni Manalo?  Because the origin of this post is a bonafide anti-Catholic member of the Iglesia founded by Felix Manalo by his motto "REVENNGE (RESBAK.com)", let us hammer their heretical views and bigoted opinion about the Holy Mother Church. Let us join together and stop their malices, lies and deceit from infecting others.

Here we go:

Here you’ll see the difference in the doctrines adhered to and practiced by the Iglesia ni Cristo (Church of Christ) and the Roman Catholic church and how they compare to teachings found in the bible. Here we go:

God, the Father

* Bible: one God, the Father in heaven
* Iglesia ni Cristo: one God, the Father in heaven
* RCC: trinity, based on pagan Babylonian triune god, and the pagan Roman Capitoline triad

Holy Father

* Bible: one God, the Father in heaven
* Iglesia ni Cristo: one God, the Father in heaven
* RCC: the Pope

Holy Father

* Bible: God, the Father
* Iglesia ni Cristo: God, the Father
* RCC: the priest, bishops, cardinals, the Pope

Nature of the Lord Jesus Christ

* Bible: Jesus Christ is man
* Iglesia ni Cristo: Jesus Christ is man
* RCC: Jesus became God as of 325 AD by order of the Council of Nicaea chaired by Emperor Constantine.

Head of the Church of Christ

* Bible: Christ is the Head of His body, the Church
* Iglesia ni Cristo: Christ is the Head of the Church of Christ, Iglesia ni Cristo
* RCC: Pope is the Head of the Church.

Who to worship

* Bible: Worship only God and Christ
* Iglesia ni Cristo: Worships God and Christ. Only.
* Roman pagan: Worships Mama Mary, St. Joseph, St. Peter, all saints, angels, including their statues, pictures, relics.

Mediator between God and man

* Bible: one mediator between God and man, the man Jesus Christ
* Iglesia ni Cristo: one mediator between God and man, the man Jesus Christ
* RCC: “Virgin Mary” and all the “Saints” are intercessors

Prohibition in the eating of blood

* Bible: prohibition on eating blood.

God, the Father

* Bible: one God, the Father in heaven
* Iglesia ni Cristo: one God, the Father in heaven
* RCC: trinity, based on pagan Babylonian triune god, and the pagan Roman Capitoline triad
There are only THREE (3) Monotheistic Religions in the world, namely JUDAISM, CHRISTIANITY and ISLAM. Their teachings are the same-- THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD period! The Torah, the Bible and the Qur'an says it. Catholics who are the original Christians have the say. They differ only when it comes to the details.

Who would believe that the DOCTRINE of TRINITY was "based on pagan Babylonian triune god, and the pagan Rome Capitoline triad" was it's origin?

According to Wikipedia:
The Christian doctrine of the Trinity defines God as three divine persons (Greek: ὑποστάσεις)— Father, Son, and Holy Spirit — distinctly coexisting in unity as co-equal, co-eternal, and consubstantial (Greek: ὁμοούσιοι), or of one being (Greek: οὐσία).The Trinity itself is considered to be a mystery of Christian faith.

According to this doctrine, God exists as three persons but is one God, meaning that God the Son and God the Holy Spirit have exactly the same nature or being as God the Father in every way. Whatever attributes and power God the Father has, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit have as well. "Thus, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit are also eternal, omnipresent, omnipotent, infinitely wise, infinitely holy, infinitely loving, omniscient."

The doctrine developed from the biblical language used in New Testament passages such as the baptismal formula in Matthew 28:19 and took substantially its present form by the end of the 4th century as a result of controversies concerning the proper sense in which to apply to God and Christ terms such as "person", "nature", "essence", and "substance".
See those UNDERLINED phrases "define" and  "According to this doctrine"? Yes, according to definition of that doctrine and NOT according to a non-believer who believes in paganism and ancient mythology--resbak Conrad.

Compare that to 4-10 million Iglesia ni Cristo members worldwide (which of course is UNRELIABLE), at least 1.1 billion people on earth (1/6 of the WORLD'S TOTAL POPULATION) believes otherwise. Are you up for the challenge? Then this INC member should be working 24/7 to prove us wrong!

But of course he affords only ranting, so shake up your minds and come to your right senses.  What is believed by the INC about the TRINITY is a MYTH and HEARSAY-- a byproduct of a deep-seated INSECURITY, HATRED and BIGOTRY against Christ and His Church, you have to believe directly from the OWNER of the DOCTRINE itself-- the CATHOLIC CHURCH, not its detractors. All information are available online. Visit the official website of the Vatican City and read the Catechism of the Catholic Church! You are assured that's OFFICIAL! And whatever it was said there we stand to it and we can bet our souls in its TRUENESS.

So how can you be so certain that what Resbak Conrad comparison is the official position of the INC when they DO NOT HAVE any official teachings available for the public for cross reference?? Therefore I say, that Resbak Conrad's statements aren't the official and he is painting a bad color to the Iglesia ni Cristo administration for misrepresenting them.

And how about the belief of the INC?

According to their belief, which I've taken from a BLOG that introduced itself as "The IGLESIA NI CRISTO", Item Number 14:
"Christ should be highly honored and worshiped [emphasis mine] by members of the Church of Christ because this is the will of God (Phil.2:9-11). Christ should be recognized as the Son of God (Mt.3:7), Lord (Acts 2:36), Saviour (Acts 5:31), Mediator (1Tim.2:5), a holy man who did not commit sin (1 Pet.2:21-22). The attributes mentioned here give no indication to His nature which we believe is of a man (Jn.8:40); He is not the true God. (Ezek.28:2) Man should also renounce the belief that Christ is true God and true man (Hos.11:9)
The Bible PROHIBITS worshiping NO ONE other than GOD himself! If they are worshiping Jesus the Lord, a man in stature and nature, then they are committing BLASPHEMY, the same death sentence handed to JESUS CHRIST who was accused by the Jewish elders of making himself EQUAL to GOD (John 5:18), then it's implied that accept Jesus' divinity, worthy of our "honor and worship"!  But here, they arrogantly DENY the divinity of Jesus Christ but boldly proclaimed HIM to be "WORSHIPED"-- Jesus the Man only!

* Bible: God, the Father
* Iglesia ni Cristo: God, the Father

What do we expect from a bigot.  Of course he's not telliing the truth. Because if he will, the INC will be doomed!

According to the OFFICIAL Catechism of the Catholic Church Section 2, Chapter 1, is that God alone is HOLY.

The TITLE given to a Pope when he is addressed is "Holy Father" because his role/title suggests that-- POPE is from the word "Papa, Abba-Father", a semitic language which means "father". In Arabic language they call their fathers "baba" which is very similar to "abba".
The Pope (from Latin: papa; from Greek: πάππας (pappas), a child's word for father) is the Bishop of Rome, a position that makes him the leader of the worldwide Catholic Church (which is composed of the Latin Rite and the Eastern Catholic Churches in full communion with the see of Rome). The current office-holder is Pope Benedict XVI, who was elected in a papal conclave on 19 April 2005.
The Pope is expected to live a "holy life" so he's properly called "holy" and that he's our "father" representative on earth. But definitely his role title doesn't rob the HOLINESS of GOD the FATHER. We in the Catholic Church have easiness on that. We know God and we know the Pope's role. The Pope never assumed himself to be a "god" or "angel" or "messenger". He never rob anything from God. Holiness is expected to all Christians "to live a holy life" and thus makes one holy.

On the contrary, the INC cult teaches that FELIX MANALO was God's "Last Messenger" an "Angel". Several OFFICIAL pronouncements were published in their PASUGO about this strange and blasphemous teachings:

PASUGO July 1965, p. 12:
“Parehong-pareho ang espiritu ni Cristo sa diwa ni Kapatid na Felix Manalo sa pamamaraan ng pagdadala ng tungkuling tinanggap sa Dios." [The spirit of Christ is exactly the same with that of Brother Felix Manalo through accepting his mission from God.]

PASUGO May 1964, p. 1:
“Inihandog ng Dios ang kanyang sarili sa kanyang huling sugo upang dumiyos sa kanya. Samakatuwid, ang tanging may Dios na huling araw na ito'y ang huling sugo -- si Kapatid na Felix Manalo." [God offered his own self to his last messenger so that he (Felix Manalo) may be deified.  Therefore the only one who has God in these last days-- it's Brother Felix Manalo.]
Now, that's blasphemy!

Nature of the Lord Jesus Christ

* Bible: Jesus Christ is man
* Iglesia ni Cristo: Jesus Christ is man
* RCC: Jesus became God as of 325 AD by order of the Council of Nicaea chaired by Emperor Constantine.
Early Christians already believed in the Divinity of Christ.  But because Arianism was deviating from what was earlier believed by Christians, so the Council of Nicea was convened by Emperor Constantine, a Christian Convert.

Here is according to the OFFICIAL Catechism of the Catholic Church Part 1, Section 2, Chapter 2, that Jesus is God, a mystery in itself, taken from Prologue of John 1.

The First Council of Nicea objectives were:

  • Christology (putting an end to schismatic beleifs), not to create a doctrine
  • The Nicean Creed (the final result of the that council)
  • Calculation of Easter (which we are now celebrating)
  • Canon Law (the Law of the Church)

Why it was convened? It's because there were reports that some other Christians were DEVIATING from the NORM TEACHINGS. So to settle down and make that Christoloy OFFICIAL ONE, and to end up heresy, the council was conveyed. The result was the NICENE CREED

Therefore it's a lie to say that "Emperor chaired" it.

Proof that they do not have that sense of history, here is what's OFFICIALLY published in their Official Magazine PASUGO about the FOUNDING of the Catholic Church:

NOTE: Notice how their Ministers got their education to proclaim the history of the Catholic Church. Here's the summary of the above:

If they do not know history, they wouldn't know what happened in the First Council of Nicea in 325 A.D.

Head of the Church of Christ

* Bible: Christ is the Head of His body, the Church
* Iglesia ni Cristo: Christ is the Head of the Church of Christ, Iglesia ni Cristo
* RCC: Pope is the Head of the Church.

There is no doubt, that Jesus Christ is the Head of the Church according to Col. 1:18. But Jesus also conferred to Peter that "Shepherding" his Flock-- the Church. In John 21:15-18, Jesus said to Peter, the First Pope "Feed my lambs", "Feed my sheep."

In Matthew 16:16-18, Jesus specifically called Simon Peter for that role of leading his Church.
Jesus said to him in reply, "Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah. For flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but my heavenly Father. And so I say to you, you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church, and the gates of the netherworld shall not prevail against it. I will give you the keys to the kingdom of heaven. Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."
and again he repeated this commissioning in John 20:22-23:
"Peace be with you. As the Father has sent me, so I send you." And when he had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, "Receive the holy Spirit. Whose sins you forgive are forgiven them, and whose sins you retain are retained."

From thereon, Peter became the leader of the Apostles, thus making him the VISIBLE Head of the Church (and Jesus the INVISIBLE Head of the Church).
Peter is always mentioned first in the lists of the Twelve Apostles given in the canonical gospels and in the Book of Acts (Acts 1:13). He is also frequently mentioned in the Gospels as forming with James the Elder and John a special group within the Twelve Apostles, present at incidents at which the others were not present, such as at the Transfiguration of Jesus. He often confesses his faith in Jesus as the Messiah.

Peter is often depicted in the Gospels as spokesman of all the Apostles. Catholics refer to him as chief of the Apostles, as do the Eastern Orthodox and the Oriental Orthodox. In Coptic Orthodox Church Liturgy, he is once referred to as “Prominent” or "head" among the Apostles, a title shared with St. Paul in the text (The Fraction of Fast and Feast of the Apostles Peter and Paul in the Coptic Orthodox Church of Alexandria). -Wikipedia

* Roman pagan: Worships Mama Mary, St. Joseph, St. Peter, all saints, angels, including their statues, pictures, relics.
The Catholic Church and the Bible teach us to WORSHIP GOD ALONE and NONE OTHER-- Luke 4:8
Jesus said to him in reply, "It is written: 'You shall worship the Lord, your God, and him alone shall you serve.'"
So if Jesus Christ said to "WORSHIP GOD ALONE" why INC are told to WORSHIP JESUS CHRIST a MAN ONLY? That's blasphemous.

The answer is in the Catholic Church. We should WORSHIP ONLY ONE GOD. Oneness of God in Three Persons, therefore worshipping Christ is very Biblical!

Mediator between God and man

* Bible: one mediator between God and man, the man Jesus Christ
* Iglesia ni Cristo: one mediator between God and man, the man Jesus Christ
* RCC: “Virgin Mary” and all the “Saints” are intercessors
True to his realization, there is only one MEDIATOR, Jesus Christ but there are INTERCESSORS between us and God for we are told to pray for one another (James 5:16). And the saints are not dead for "our God is not the God of the dead but of the living-- Isaac, Jacob, Moses who were long been dead" Luke 20:38). Therefore the SAINTS aren't dead by very much alive in God.  The Body of Christ includes that also of those who have gone ahead of us-- the CHURCH which includes the Church Triumphant, Church Suffering and Church Militant.

Prohibition in the eating of blood

* Bible: prohibition on eating blood.
* Iglesia ni Cristo: prohibition on eating blood
* Catholic: No prohibition on eating blood
Wrong. The Bible in NT declares all food clean.

What defiles a man is not the food that comes inside but what coming from his mouth. In Mark 7:19:
He said to them, "Are even you likewise without understanding? Do you not realize that everything that goes into a person from outside cannot defile, since it enters not the heart but the stomach and passes out into the latrine?" (Thus he declared all foods clean.) "But what comes out of a person, that is what defiles.
'What God has made clean, you are not to call profane.'

Thanks to About.com for this through and very unbias answer:

Question: What Are the Rules for Fasting and Abstinence in the Catholic Church?
Fasting and abstinence are spiritual practices that are vital to the Christian life. What are the rules for fasting and abstinence in the Catholic Church?
Answer:

The rules for fasting and abstinence in the Catholic Church are set forth in the Code of Canon Law (for the Roman Catholic Church) and in the Code of Canons of Oriental Churches (for the Eastern Catholic Churches). To a limited extent, they can be modified by the conference of bishops for each particular country (or, in the Eastern Churches, for each particular rite).

The Code of Canon Law prescribes (Canons 1250-1252):

Can. 1250: The penitential days and times in the universal Church are every Friday of the whole year and the season of Lent.

Can. 1251: Abstinence from meat, or from some other food as determined by the Episcopal Conference, is to be observed on all Fridays, unless a solemnity should fall on a Friday. Abstinence and fasting are to be observed on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday.

Can. 1252: The law of abstinence binds those who have completed their fourteenth year. The law of fasting binds those who have attained their majority, until the beginning of their sixtieth year. Pastors of souls and parents are to ensure that even those who by reason of their age are not bound by the law of fasting and abstinence, are taught the true meaning of penance.

In the United States, the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops has declared that "the age of fasting is from the completion of the eighteenth year to the beginning of the sixtieth." The USCCB also allows the substitution of some other form of penance for abstinence on all of the Fridays of the year, except for those Fridays in Lent. Thus, the rules for fasting and abstinence in the United States are:

Every person 14 years of age or older must abstain from meat (and items made with meat) on Ash Wednesday, Good Friday, and all the Fridays of Lent.

Every person between the age of 18 and 60 must fast on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday.

Every person 14 years of age or older must abstain from meat (and items made with meat) on all other Fridays of the year, unless he or she substitutes some other form of penance for abstinence.

If you are outside the United States, you should check with the bishops' conference for your country.

For the Eastern Catholic Churches, the Code of Canons of Oriental Churches prescribes (Canon 882):

Can. 882: On the days of penance the Christian faithful are obliged to observe fast or abstinence in the manner established by the particular law of their Church sui iuris.

Thus, Eastern Catholics should check with the governing body for their particular rite.

 Forbidding to marry

* Bible: No prohibition to marry
* Iglesia ni Cristo: No prohibition to marry
* RCC: Priest are prohibited to marry once they take their vow
True, the Bible doesn't "prohibit anyone to marry but the same Bible values VIRGINITY, PURITY and being CHASTE "for the sake of the Kingdom". In fact one of the Seven Sacraments of the Church is the SACRAMENT OF MARRIAGE.

"To the unmarried and the widows I say that it is well for them to remain single as I am. But if they cannot exercise self-control, they should marry. For it is better to marry than to be aflame with passion"

Now in regard to virgins, I have no commandment from the Lord, 11 but I give my opinion as one who by the Lord's mercy is trustworthy. So this is what I think best because of the present distress: that it is a good thing for a person to remain as he is.
Jesus said in Matthew 19:11-12
He answered, "Not all can accept [this] word, 8 but only those to whom that is granted. Some are incapable of marriage because they were born so; some, because they were made so by others; some, because they have renounced marriage for the sake of the kingdom of heaven. Whoever can accept this ought to accept it."

Now, what's those things do you think that were invented by Catholics? You better have to thnk quicky who really invented which before they can fool you. You might discover that it was THEM who really invented their nasty stories against the the Catholic Church which is the TRUE CHURCH OF CHRIST says PASUGO April 1966, p. 46 so that you will be brainwashed and eventually convert to their fold. May God bless you all and may the Sacred Heart of Jesus have mercy on us all.
