None of the Catholic teachings stand in any solid ground says an Iglesia ni Cristo® member

I didn't realize there's should be much to explain in response to rantings an INC-1914 member who visited my blog in July 2009. The comment came from this article How to Convert to Iglesia ni Cristo.

I tried to verify his identity through his name ED but this is what I've got. It's not unusual. In fact, it's been always like that.

I wonder if this practice of hiding is a common thing to do in the Iglesia ni Cristo®?

It's a pity that they come and visit only to expose their enormous hatred and bigotry agains Catholics and the Catholic Church which according to Pasugo April 1966, p. 46, "siyang tunay na Iglesia ni Cristo [the true Church of Christ]."

Why not have a copy of our official Catechism and read. It's all there available in major bookstores, even in America.

So that it will be easier for you, you can read it HERE. Try reading the whole of it and search if you can find any teachings that says we believe in 3 gods. And if you find, I would immediately convert to your cult.

The truth is: the Catholic Church is the only institution that has survived many wars, plagues, heresies, betrayal, and attacks from different sides. It has survived for more than 2,000 years old now. The prophecy is fulfilled.

Our teachings have changed policies in many governments. Some of them are now considered international rules such that the United Nations Human Rights Commission is deeply indebted to the Catholic Church because Human Rights is inherently Catholic in nature. It's deeply embedded in the Catholic Social teachings on Human Dignity.

The world has recognized the Gregorian Calendar as the international standard measurement of days, weeks, months and years. You in the Iglesia ni Cristo® also use the same Catholic calendar which is reflected in your official memos, Pasugo and The Messenger publications, your Pagsamba, your annual anniversaries, your birthdays, even the birth of Felix Manalo itself.

You use the Catholic way of naming names. Such that you retain the last name of your fathers.

You receive bonuses on Christmas. You enjoy Christmas break. You celebrate Christmas (in secrecy). Your children are even found singing some Christmas songs. They even do caroling.

You use the Bible. It's a Catholic book, not Iglesia ni Cristo's. Without the Catholic Church, THERE is NO Bible today. Put that in your mind!

Your own apologists cannot even get over Bro. Wendell and other Catholic Defenders. Not even your deceased leader Eraño had met any of the Catholic apologists for a Mano y Mano debate. Takot nga siyang humarap kay Eliseo Soriano.  I too doubt if Eduardo, the grandson of Felix Manalo, heir to the throne, Iglesia's CEO, can do that fairly. Kung anong puno, siya rin ang bunga. Look at how Iglesia members behaved in forums.  So unruly, badmouthing everyone, naming names, and threatens them.

Here's for you. Your Ministers are considered "lightweights" kaya walang pumapatol na Obispo o pari sa kanila. For us, it's a waste of time.  Our lay Catholic Apologists can handle that fairly. Our theologians are respected all over the world while none of your Ministers have that same respect. Simply your ministers cannot match any of our theologians. I can't compare an ant from an elephant. It's unfair.  So unfair if I do that.  Your apologists may be the fierciest and strongest but they are still considered tiny ants.

Hey, look, our Pope will be visiting UK on September 16-19, the world will be watching. Will you rant?

Where did you get those lies? From your PAID Ministers?

Well. As far as I know, the Catholic Church which is the "true Church of Christ" according to Pasugo (April 1966, p. 46) teaches that "There is ONLY ONE GOD" not three (as your ministers insist). But this ONE GOD has THREE DIVINE PERSONS, Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

The same Jesus commanded his disciples to "Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the holy Spirit" (Mt. 28:19). Are you going against the statement of Jesus Christ?

So what name do you have for the "Father, Son and holy Spirit"? One God with lesser gods? I wonder what wisdom your ministers have in naming the Trinity.

Oh and with regards to your other fallacious argument about the "Church of Christ" as an American found sect...your argument again is weak because the truth is there are thousands and thousands of church's here in America with that same exact name but are not related to each other. The Iglesia Ni Cristo (Church of Christ[English translation]) so the real question is "How can we be sure then who the real church of christ is then?" and the answer is that the Real Church of Christ has a biblical prophecy...without one we cannot be sure about it. Now with regards to the Iglesia ni Cristo that started in the Philippines , the bible spoke of signs that happened to exactly match for the Iglesia ni Cristo. is that just a coincidence? that the first world war happen to coincide with the registration of the Iglesia ni Cristo church, which in the bible said would be the time when Christ real church would gather again. if you cant see through this clear truth...go back to UST and go straight to the president's office and slap him/her in the face and demand all your money back because clearly they have given you a worthless education.... they should have at least attempted to teach critical thinking classes in that university.

So you are in the USA. How many American come to your house of worship? From photos printed in your Pasugo, I hardly find any other nationals except Filipinos living in other countries. Jesus CLEARLY prophesied: "the gates of the netherworld SHALL NOT prevail againt it." The prophesy is FULFILLED!

But wait. Did not the Bible also prophesied about the coming of the deceiver? And that when he comes, "be it an angel" should be accursed!

But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach (to you) a gospel other than the one that we preached to you, let that one be accursed!(Galatians 1:8)

That's the reason why YOUR INC® Ministers reminded all in your cult members to keep the faith in the Catholic Church.

PASUGO Hunyo 1940, p. 27:

We do nothing except that we should be faithful to the teachings of God we have studied. This is what the firs Church did. They remained faithful to the teachings of the Apostles. In the same way, this is what we demand of you.]

Instead of teaching us how to educate our people, you might want to educate your own ministers to remain faitful to the Catholic teachings as what was demanded of you by another minister.
