Rovic Canono is arrested over a case allegedly instigated by the INC. Canono is suspected to be behind the critical blogs against the powerful church, an allegation he denies.

MANILA, Philippines – An expelled member of the influential homegrown church Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) has been arrested over a case filed by his wife, allegedly under the instigation of the church leadership.

Rovic Canono was arrested and detained in Camp Karingal, Quezon City, on Friday, November 11, for violation of Republic Act 9262, or the anti-violence against women and children act.

Canono is accused of violating Sections 5(h) and (i) of RA 9262, which refer to causing emotional or psychological distress to the woman or her child, and causing mental or emotional anguish, public ridicule, or humiliation.

Canono is reportedly suspected of being behind social media accounts critical of the church leadership.

Over the past year, the Facebook account "Sher Lock" and the blog "Silent No More" have been running stories alleging corruption within the church's ranks. The blog and Facebook page have also posted stories on the alleged abductions of church ministers and harassment of the estranged siblings of INC executive minister Eduardo Manalo, in an ongoing issue that has rocked the church since July last year. The bench warrant of arrest against Canono was issued by Judge Jacqueline Martin-Balictar of the Manila Regional Trial Court Branch 9.

The charge against Canono was filed by his wife, with whom he has been separated for several years. Rappler learned that Canono was taken from his condominium in Eastwood, Quezon City by armed operatives of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Unit wearing civilian clothing.

Instead of being brought to the nearby police station inside Eastwood, however, Canono was taken to Camp Karingal in Sikatuna Village, about 5 kilometers away from the Central Temple of Iglesia.

According to a joint affidavit of arrest filed by the arresting police officers, Canono allegedly violently resisted arrest and had tried to call for help from his friends instead of contacting a lawyer. SPO1 Luisito Ubias and PO1 Mario Morales allegedly sustained injuries from the incident.

Canono is now facing an additional complaint of direct assault and resistance and disobedience to a person in authority.

Wilfredo Santos from the INC's legal department has taken on the case against Canono. The INC-run news network Net25 was already in Camp Karingal when Canono arrived.

Lawyer Rene Saguisag – also the counsel for the estranged Manalo siblings – is handling Canono's case.

Rappler contacted Bro. Edwil Zabala, spokesman for the INC, for comment, but there has been no reply as of Sunday afternoon. This story will be updated once a statement or comment from the INC is released.

Similar to Menorca?

According to the "Silent No More" blog, the circumstances of Canono's arrest were similar to those of expelled member Lowell Menorca II. In July 2015, Menorca was illegally detained for nearly 3 months under alleged orders of the church's leaders, and was previously arrested in Dasmariñas, Cavite, for alleged illegal possession of an explosive. The charge is a non-bailable offense.

Menorca at the time pointed to the INC's Sanggunian or Council as the perpetrators behind his arrest and illegal detention. Later an adultery case was filed against him.

In March 2016, Menorca left the country with his family, citing an alleged death threat and continued harassment from his critics.

In a message to Rappler, Menorca said that Canono's arrest was "all too familiar" to him, and that the operation had "all the fingerprints of the well-coordinated and influenced efforts of a very powerful institution."

"I know that the pattern will emerge soon enough to reveal the powerful hand behind these series of seemless events and circumstances that can only be possible, as orchestrated by a very influential force that has perfected this craft of inquisition against those whom they consider enemies for being critical of the church," he said.

Menorca added that since Canono's case can be resolved by posting bail, he may be charged with numerous other cases to either keep him in jail or exhaust his financial resources.

The "Silent No More" blog also posted a photo of a letter supposedly written by Canono in July 2015. According to the letter, Canono had been told that he was being "hunted down by a group of men" upon the orders of the INC leaders.

The letter contained a list of names "[to] be held accountable if harm/death" happens to him or his family.

Rappler: MANILA, Philippines – Unlike the Catholic Church whose assets are administered by autonomous dioceses, the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) appears to be monolithic, allowing a single person or group of persons to be entrenched in as many INC organizations, foundations or businesses as possible.

In the case of the INC, the footprints of the family of INC auditor and minister Glicerio Santos Jr, appear to be all over the local corporations and foundations of the sect.

In the Catholic Church, which is registered as a "corporation sole," the bishop is a mere temporary caretaker of assets, with the administration of temporal or ecclesiastical assets put under the name of the diocese. This ensures the efficient transfer and administration of Church assets whenever there is a change in leadership.

And because each archdiocese or diocese is autonomous, bishops are not supposed to meddle in the affairs of other dioceses, especially where financial matters are involved. Every diocese has a finance council that makes sure Church funds are being properly used. Despite the checks, the set-up is still imperfect and reports of misused funds still filter through.

Over at the INC where no similar mechanisms are in place, some disgruntled followers are up in arms over the control that one of their ministers, Glicerio Santos Jr, is exercising over church finances.

Santos has been accused of driving a wedge between INC executive minister Eduardo Manalo and his family. Eduardo Manalo’s mother Cristina or "Tenny" and brother Angel appeared on a YouTube video saying their lives were in danger. After they were expelled from the Iglesia, Angel later appealed to his elder brother to talk to them, to no avail.

Clout

Santos’ growing clout and control over the INC’s finances may be one of the reasons why he’s been tagged as the number 2 man in the INC.

His involvement goes beyond the Iglesia's local foundations and corporations, as he also holds executive positions in the different Felix Y Manalo foundations (FYM) scattered in the United States. He is also behind FYM-New Zealand and FYM-Canada.

Here’s what we found from mining corporate documents of the different FYM foundations in the US.

Among countries outside the US with an FYM Foundation branch, at least New Zealand and Canada disclosed online who their directors are.

With only a few exceptions, the personalities behind the FYM US branches are basically the same. Just like in the Philippine INC entities, the Santoses – Glicerio Jr, Glicerio III, and Glicerio IV – are also in most of the foreign-based foundations. One significant name found in the foreign-based Iglesia foundations is Dorothy Kristine Manalo Orosa, a lawyer and the eldest daughter of Eduardo Manalo.

Joy Yuson, a former coordinator of the INC media arm, accused the elder Santos of withdrawing funds from various bank accounts and channeling these to the foundations they control.

In a video posted on the Facebook account of user Sher Lock, Isaias Samson Jr, the former editor-in-chief of INC's official publication Pasugo, insisted that Santos was involved in corrupt practices in the church, and that INC spokeperson Edwil Zabala, general evangelist Bienvenido Santiago, and other ministers knew about it.

Rappler, MANILA, Philippines – Who is Glicerio Santos Jr and what is his role in the current feud that’s wracking the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC)? Why has his name been dragged into the controversy?

Those sympathetic to the side of INC expelled minister Felix Nathaniel "Angel" Manalo and his mother Cristina "Tenny" alleged it was Santos who alienated INC executive minister Eduardo Manalo from his family.

This was supposedly part of a power play and struggle that saw several old INC officials being kicked out after the death of the former executive minister, Eraño "Ka Erdy" Manalo.

The elder Manalo was known for his austere lifestyle, resisting calls from concerned Iglesia members for him to seek medication when he got ill. INC insiders told Rappler "Ka Erdy" believed that money collected from members should not be spent by him. "Pera ng Diyos (money of God)," as he called it, was not meant for him.

Not long after Eraño’s death, the Iglesia's Sanggunian or Council under the new executive minister Eduardo underwent a purge. Eraño’s other son Angel and his wife Tenny could not do anything about it because Eduardo had already assumed the post of executive minister. The mother had not spoken with the son since then.

Only one of the 12 members survived the Sanggunian shake-up: Glicerio Santos Jr.

Entrusted

“Pinakabilin-bilinan siya ni Ka Erdy (Eraño) kay Ka Eduardo,” said one INC member. (Ka Erdy entrusted him to Ka Eduardo.)

The elder Eraño had advised his son Eduardo to always listen to the good counsel of Santos, who was also known as "Kidlat" because he was “quick to act” and was able to deliver on difficult tasks assigned to him. “If there’s an impossible task, give it to Santos,” the INC member who has contacts with church higher-ups said.

Santos was appointed treasurer and general auditor of the church’s finances. He held considerable power, but to members, he was simply known to be in charge of “pananalapi” or church funds.

Also described as a "bean counter and bureaucrat" by others who knew him, Santos, now about 76 years old, showed a willingness to "adapt to the new leadership," another INC insider said.

He eventually became more entrenched as his own son, lawyer Glicerio Santos IV, became legal counsel of the Iglesia.

Referring to the elder Santos, the other INC member said, "Everyone knows he's the number 2 guy. He is the second most powerful man in the INC." If he isn’t the second most, he is certainly among the most powerful in the governing Council or Sanggunian.

Iglesia members who want to set their church back on the right path said it was Santos who was behind the recent big-ticket projects of the Iglesia (including the grand $200-million Philippine Arena), the purchases of properties both here and abroad, including the abandoned town in South Dakota which was reportedly purchased for $700,000.

His clout extends beyond the INC. Santos wields enough influence that he was reportedly able to intercede for Ja Hoon Ku, a Korean wanted in his country for allegedly embezzling over $200 million from his company. Ja, who was a contractor for the Philippine Arena, had become an Iglesia convert.

The Korean was detained by the Bureau of Immigration (BI) in January 2014 after the Korean embassy sought his arrest and deportation. But he was granted temporary liberty when Malacañang, through Executive Secretary Paquito Ochoa, issued an order on March 19 of the same year allowing Ja's provisional liberty – he would be free until August 31, 2014 or until his appeal was resolved..

A report by ABS-CBN said that the BI placed Ja under the custody of Santos as part of Ochoa's order. In the same order, ABS-CBN said that "Glicerio B Santos Jr, General Auditor of the INC, should be required to execute an Affidavit of Undertaking specifying that he will absolutely be responsible for Respondent's custody."

Family enterprise

For this story, we sought to interview INC spokesperson Edwil Zabala but he could not be reached. But in an earlier interview with Rappler, Zabala said Iglesia may hale to court anyone who makes false accusations against the church.

"Sa tamang lugar, sa tamang paraan, ang Iglesia haharap, sasagot kapagka mayroong ipineprisintang pruweba," he said. (The Church will face the allegations at the proper time and if there is evidence being presented.)

The INC chief has reposed his full trust and confidence in Santos bordering on blind faith such that, he may know more about the finances of the INC than the executive minister himself.

If the Manalos are considered by many as the spiritual heads of the INC, Santos and his family – based on official documents – appear to be controlling vital operations of the church.

Santos III and Santos IV are sons of Santos Jr, while Anita Santos is his wife.

With 3 already locked votes, they can easliy control decisions on how to run the businesses and non-profit NGOs of the INC. We have verified at least 8 entities where members of the Santos family have a presence.

Latest 2013 financial statements submitted to the SEC showed that the FYM Foundation declared P128,273,658 in fund balances, while its sister company, the Subic Bay-FYM Foundation reported P1,011,763 for the same period.

FYM Medical Foundation declared P20,956,809 in fund balances in 2013, while Unlad International registered a fund balance of P26,213,599. Based on a video posted on the INC's official website, Unlad International has set up training centers on garment manufacturing and eco-farming for INC members, and indigenous communities in various parts of the country.

Maligaya Development Corporation posted a net income of P1,482,599 for 2013. New Era last submitted a financial statement in 2008, when it declared a fund balance of P172,786,318.

He is the contract negotiator, reviewer, and approver for various construction projects including signing off on contracts for materials and labor. He decides (or is a major influencer on) which long-term assets to acquire when, and which ones to dispose of, for how much, and through whom. He is also the master architect behind all the Guinness-motivated, traffic-disrupting Lingap (Aid to Humanity) activities, medical and dental missions, major propagation projects, centennial and closing centennial celebrations.

In addition, he is the brains behind the production, marketing, and forcible distribution of various UNLAD products to brethren as well as the crafting of an effective payment collection scheme. Co-ministers will attest that he decides on the fate of his fellow ministers, i.e., who gets promoted, demoted, reassigned, taken down, or worse, expelled. And lest we forget, he is also the mastermind behind the creation of the never-ending special, special offerings and the corresponding bended-knee style of devotional prayers to guilt the brethren into giving more. And if you will be able to ask around, every District, every Office, every Section, every Department in the whole of Central and other Bureaus, there is only one name who calls the shots, who makes the decisions, who gives the Go-Signal, who Approves anything and Everything, who has the power to STOP anything and everything, and unfortunately that is no longer the name of our beloved Executive Minister, Bro. Eduardo V. Manalo, ALARMINGLY, IT IS NOW THE RESONATING NAME THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE CHURCH, BRO. GLICERIO B. SANTOS JR. As you will see later in this article, this Santos family has surreptitiously, deceitfully and deliberately injected themselves into almost every facet of the Church, MAKING THE SANTOS FAMILY AN INDISPENSABLE FIGURE IN THE CHURCH. In fact, he and his family are directly involved in the executive and day-to-day management of INC companies notably FYM Foundation, the Subic Bay-FYM Foundation, UNLAD, F. Y. Medical Foundation (New Era General Hospital), Maligaya Development Corp., and New Era University (by extension, also the College of Evangelical Ministry). Their power extends not only in the Philippines but globally wherever the Church has a presence. In the United States, Bro. Jun Santos may keep younger sibling Boy on a leash but make no mistake. Bro. Boy Santos is a ruler in his own fiefdom, the Iglesia ni Cristo United States Main Office (USMO). According to fellow ministers in the U.S., he is every bit the tyrant that his older brother is. To those who do not know, USMO “acts as an extension of the Church Administration, assisting in overseeing a vast portion of the globe.” (Ref. http://incmedia.org/usmo-united-states-main-office/). Bro. Boy’s equivalent at the Europe Main Office also bows down to Bro Jun. With so much power to wield and a vast resources at this family’s disposal, is it any wonder the Church is plagued by allegations of: corruption among the Church hierarchy, bribery, political wheeling and dealing, harboring a fugitive, unabashed capitalism, furtive business ventures, more and more Church properties being offered for sale, unexplained wealth of those in the Advisory Council, ministers leading an opulent lifestyle discordant with their stipend, “express” expulsions of suspected brethren dissidents and complete disregard for due process and long established procedures ?

In the words of Mayer Amschel Rothschild, “Let me issue and control a nation’s money and I care not who writes the laws”. Or put another way, he who controls the purse strings… makes the rules. “Mr. Ku attended his first worship service in South Korea which was officiated by Brother Jun (Glicerio B. Santos Jr.). With the aid of a translator, he was able to understand the lesson. In fact, despite the language barrier, he was visibly moved by the singing. of hymns, the fervent prayers, and the orderliness and spirituality of the entire worship service. He recounted, “I was observing Brother Jun and the brethren during their stay here [in South Korea]. I admire their helpfulness, trust, and instant camaraderie even though they were just introduced to each other.”

Then one day, the whole world was startled when we saw the news on TV about JA HOON KU who was arrested for embezzling $200 Million in Korea. But surprisingly he was suddenly released by the swift order of Sec. Pacquito Ochoa and was given to the custody of Bro. Glicerio B. Santos Jr. This act of Bro. Glicerio B. Santos Jr. of flexing the organizational muscle of the Church in influencing Government officials to obey his orders at the expense of Church’ reputation, is truly unbecoming of a Minister. But surprisingly, Malacañang kept quite about it, then one by one, the news buzz died down…

He took him in, protected his beloved convert, and ofcourse the http://www.theiglesianicristo.blogspot.com gave their opinion about the matter which is, as we all know now, NOT THE OFFICIAL STAND OF THE SANGGUNIAN, because according to THE PRISTINE TRUTH, the Sanggunian do not even know them or that they even existed… so ssshhhhh… hush hush we don’t want to blow their secret, since they too are afraid to reveal who they really are, just a pseudo name.

If that’s not being judgemental, I don’t know what is…

So what happened now with this Ja Hoon Ku? According to our anonymous-not-official-inc-stand-mr.know-it-all, The Pristine Truth: “Where is Ja now? Ja Hoon Ku is now back in South Korea! He even attended the dedication of the new House of Worship in South Korea. Thus, truly no irregularities, no anomalies took place. He was only temporarily entrusted to the INC until the Supreme Court made a final decision on his case. – Pristine Truth”

So that means, that Ja went all the trouble of evading his government for legal prosecution for his crime, ONLY to go to South Korea to attend the dedication of a new house of worship? Did I read this right Mr. Pristine? Well I guess, Mr. Pristine can provide proof of Mr. Ja’s whereabouts since he obviously knows everything about such church matters although he claims that he is in no way connected officially with the Church Administration, he just knows, period.

Because according to brethren who grabbed this picture from a proud member’s facebook page who was able to attend the gathering, Mr. Ja Hoon Ku was not there during the dedication of the House of Worship in South Korea since he is in hiding from the authorities, that is why his associate was the one who received the Plaque of Appreciation from the Church Administration:

But then again, we could be all wrong and Mr. Pristine could be right, because for all we know, he might have been actually there during the dedication of the house of worship in South Korea, and ofcourse we will take his word for it, he knows all these sensitive information inside the church, while the rest of the Church knows nothing. He knows where Ja Hoon Ku is while other government agents are still looking for him. Just Brilliant!

So now, the Judge that Bro. Glicerio B. Santos Jr. used to favor Mr. Ja Hoon Ku is also in trouble according to the news: “The Supreme Court saw the defiance of Gallegos as disrespecting an order of the country’s highest court. “A resolution of the Supreme Court should not be construed as a mere request, and should be complied with promptly and completely. Such failure to comply accordingly betrays not only a recalcitrant streak in character, but also disrespect for the Court’s lawful order and directive,” the high court said. “Judge Gallegos should know that judges must respect the orders and decisions of higher tribunals, especially the Supreme Court from which all other courts take their bearings,” it added.The high tribunal continued, “When the judge himself becomes the transgressor of the law which he is sworn to apply, he places his office in disrepute, encourages disrespect for the law and impairs public confidence in the integrity of the judiciary itself.””

So according to the unofficial opinion of the non-Sanggunian-related Mr. Pristine, “Let’s not be judgemental”… So where is Ja Hoon Ku again Bro. Glicerio B. Santos Jr.? Since you are the custodial caretaker, and according to Mr. Pristine you are not hiding him, kindly inform the public where he is and please do the right thing and release him to the proper authorities, so you can atleast minimize the bad reputation you have inflicted upon the church administration and the church as whole. Everybody knows the political muscle of the Church (except Mr. Pristine or atleast he pretends to be too naive about it), that is why government officials bend to the will of the “powers that be”. But to use these powers for vested interest or in the favor of an individual at the expense of the whole church, is….is… *sigh*, I am already at a loss for words, you be the one to call it as it is. And anybody who’s stupid enough to think that Bro. Glicerio B. Santos Jr. had no hand in this fiasco is probably in too much denial or is in need of a CT Scan of the head.

Lastly, please allow me to quote this: “When the judge himself becomes the transgressor of the law which he is sworn to apply, he places his office in disrepute, encourages disrespect for the law and impairs public confidence in the integrity of the judiciary itself.”

If there is a profession most honorable, most respected and most revered above all profession, it is the holy MINISTRY inside the Iglesia Ni Cristo. So if among the judiciary, Judges are expected to have the highest level of integrity, what more for the Ministers of the Iglesia Ni Cristo… So when the Minister himself becomes the transgressor of the Doctrines which he is sworn to apply, he places his Ministry in disrepute, encourages disrespect for the Doctrines and impairs the brethren’s confidence in the integrity of the Ministry itself….

Let the Ministers in the Sanggunian ponder upon this for a while…

Magpakita man lamang kayo ng DELICADEZA (o obsolete na ba talaga ito sa inyo), bigyan man lamang po ninyo ng dangal ang banal na tungkuling nadudungisan ninyo dahil sa mga kinasasangkutan ninyong anomalya. Kaya bakit kaya may ilan na bumabasa ng mga bagay na isinulat ko, mga taong nakapag-aral, marurunong, subalit lihis ang pagkaunawa? Dahil sa sarado ang kanilang puso at isipan at agad silang tumatalon sa konklusyon na sinomang sumulat ng mga bagay na gaya nito ay “automatic” na agad na lumalaban sa Tagapamahalang Pangkalahatan.

Alamin nga po muna natin, papaano kaya pinapaniwala ng Sanggunian ang mga Kapatid, pati na ang pinakamamahal nating Tagapamahalang Pangkalahatan na ang kalaban ng pananampalataya ay si Antonio Ebangelista at hindi sila na mga gumagawa ng katiwalian? Simple lang po… MIND CONDITIONING. Papaano po nila ito ginagawa? Lahat ng mga impormasyon ukol sa tunay na kalagayan ng Iglesia ay ililingid ng Sanggunian sa Ka Eduardo, ang ipapakita sa kaniya ay mga tagumpay daw ng Iglesia, gaya ng mga Guiness Records na nakuha ng Iglesia ngayong taon (halimbawa ay ang pinakamaraming beses na hinawakan ng Ka Jun ang palibot ng kaniyang labi at inayos ang kaniyang necktie habang nagtetexto), ang malaking halaga na resulta ng Tanging Handugan para sa Closing Centennial, na sa kabila daw ng maraming bumabatikos ay lalo namang tumaas ang halaga ng nalikom na Tanging Handugan. Maganda sanang pakinggan, subalit hindi na lamang nila isinama ang damakmak na pananakot sa mga Ministro na nakadestino sa Lokal na oras na umurong sila sa Tanging Handugan at nakapagbigay hapis sa Namamahala ay “malayo ang kaniyang mararating” kaya ang kawawang Ministro ay gagawin ang lahat upang sumulong ang handugan sa kaniyang Lokal, mistulang magmakaawa sa mga Kapatid. Hindi na rin nila sinabi na ang realidad ay napakaraming Lokal ang umurong sa Tanging Handugan para sa Open Centennial, ay sorry, Closing Centennial pala, sorry po I lost track kung anong klaseng Centennial na nga pala ang ipagta-Tanging Handugan natin ngayon, kaya lamang nasabing mataas ang handugan ay dahil sa maraming progresibong Lokal at Distrito ang nagdala sa higit na nakararaming umurong na Lokal para magmukhang tumaas nga naman ang halaga sa kabuuan.

Sasabihin na naman ng Ka Jun nyan…”WALA NAMAN KAYONG NALALAMAN NA KATITING SA PANANALAPI SA IGLESIA! WALA!”

Ano ang kasunod na ginawa ng Sanggunian para linlangin ang ating Tagapamahalang Pangkalahatan, nagpakawala sila ng mga tao ng ACTIV na magiging “poser” o magpapanggap na si Antonio Ebangelista o iba pang personalidad sa Social Media at magsisimulang magkalat ng maling impormasyon at tahasang babatikusin o pagsasalitaan ng masama ang Tagapamahalang Pangkalahatan, pagkatapos ay irereport nila sa Tagapamahalang Pangkalahatan na “ganito po ang pinagsasasabi ng tiwalag na itong si Antonio Ebangelista, pinagdimlan na po iyan kaya nga ang kaniyang ipinakakalat ay puro batikos at paninira po sa inyo, siya po ang nagkakalat sa Social Media ng paglaban sa Pamamahala at nanghihikayat pa sa mga kapatid na lumaban din sa Pamamahala” (kuhang-kuha po ba ka Gerry Purification pati ang wordings? Gaya din ng mga sinasabi mo pong mga “sinabi daw” ng Tagapamahalang Pangkalahatan na kesyo isinulat nyo pa po kamo sa inyong post-it para lang i-name drop ang Ka Eduardo at papaniwalain o takutin ang inyong kausap na kapatid na ang mga sinasabi ninyo ay mga mismong mga sinabi ng Ka Eduardo)

At ngayon napapaniwala na nila at ginalit na nila ang Ka Eduardo kay Antonio Ebangelista at ang mga katulad ko din na nagsisiwalat ng katiwalian ng mga taga-Sanggunian, ang sunod naman nilang ginawa ay nag-Loyalty Check sa mga Tagapangasiwa upang matiyak na walang lalaban o sasalungat sa kanilang balak dahil ang katumbas nito ay pagsalungat sa Tagapamahalang Pangkalahatan. Ang hindi nauunawaan ng Sanggunian ay nagpapanggap na lamang ang higit na nakararaming mga Tagapangasiwa na kunwari ay sumasangayon sila sa lahat ng mga sinasabi ng Kapatid na Glicerio B. Santos Jr. subalit sa loob-loob nila ay alam nila kung ano ang katotohanan dahil marami sa kanila ay nagbabasa din ng mga sinusulat ko at mas madalas pa nga silang sumulat sa akin upang magbigay ng insipirasyon na ipagpatuloy ang pagsisiwalat ng lahat ng katiwalian ng Sanggunian. Ang katapatan ng lahat ng mga Ministro ay sa Tagapamahalang Pangkalahatan at wala kay Ka Jun Santos, kay Ka Radel o sa kanino mang Sangguninan, pinakikisamahan na lamang nila dahil nga sa wala din lang silang magawa pa, subalit suklam na suklam na rin sila s amga taga-Sanggunian dahil alam naman nila ang pinagagagagawa ng mga Sanggunian. At dahil sa isipan ng Sanggunian ay kuha na nila ang Tagapamahalang Pangkalahatan at mga Tagapangasiwa ng mga Distrito, ang susunod nilang gagawin ay makuha ang mga kapatid. Maghahanay sila ngayon ng mga leksyon na ang pinakalayunin ay ikondisyon ang isipan ng mga kapatid na ang pagtutol sa mga itinalagang KATUWANG (SANGGUNIAN) ng Namamahala ay ang katumbas din ay ang pagtutol sa Tagapamahalang Pangkalahatan at pagtutol na rin sa kalooban ng Diyos, at mga hindi maliligtas dahil sa ititiwalag.

Nakapangingilabot na nakaya nilang ipangahas na makipantay sa Tagapamahalang Pangkalahatan para lamang papaniwalain ang mga kapatid na hindi sila pwedeng kwestyunin o batikusin dahil sa sila ay ang PAMAMAHALA, at ang bumatikos o pumuna sa kanila ay lumalaban sa Tagapamahalang Pangkalahatan at sa Diyos. Kaya kung mapapansin nyo, ang lagi nilang ibinabalandra sa kanilang mga pananalita ay ang walang kamaly-malay na Tagapamahalang Pangkalahatan na walang nalalaman o kinalaman man lamang sa mga katiwaliang kanilang ginagawa. Unti-unti na nilang itinanim sa isip ng mga kapatid na masama na ang magtanong ngayon dahil ang katumbas nun ay pagkwestyon o paglaban sa Tagapamahalang Pangkalahatan. Nakakatuwang isipin na noong Dinudoktrinahan pa lamang tayo ay lagi tayong hinihikayat na magtanong ng magtanong at sasagutin ng Ministro para lubos tayong maliwanagan. Subalit ngayon mga kaanib na sa Iglesia ay tinuruan naman tayong wag na wag kang magtatanong dahil ikatitiwalag mo yan. Ipinagbawal ang pagsusuri sa mga nilalaman ng Social Media. Ang mahigpit na tuntunin na ngayon, oras na mag-like, mag-share o mag-comment ang kapatid sa alin man sa mga sinulat ko o ng ibang tao na laban sa Katiwalian ng Sanggunian, asahan mo na tatanggap ka ng tawag o papupuntahin ka sa opisina ng Tagapangasiwa upang kausapin. Pagagawin ka ng salaysay na ang nilalaman ay yung mga salitang nais nilang ipalagay din syo. (Sana pala sila na lang ang nagsalaysay)

At ngayon lubos na nilang napapaniwala ang mga kapatid at ang Tagapamahalang Pangkalahatan na anumang may kinalaman kay AE o sa kaniyang mensahe ay mali at hindi dapat basahin. Nagawa na rin nilang takutin ang mga kapatid sa panahon ng pagsamba para nga naman walang maglakas loob na alamin ang katotohanan ukol sa mga nagaganap ngayon sa loob ng Iglesia. Kaya gayon, kahit ano pang ilabas kong mga ebidensya laban sa mga isyu ng katiwalian ay nakakondisyon na sa isip ng tao na mali ang inilalabas ko at ang mga ito ay pawang paglaban sa Tagapamahalang Pangkalahatan. Kaya mahahalata ninyo napagkatapos kong maipost ito na isa sa napakalaking anomalya ng Iglesia sa kasalukuyan ay tatadtarin nanaman nila ako ng batikos, pagpapa-block sa FB, pararatangan nilang kumakalaban sa Ka Eduardo at sumisira sa Iglesia at marami pang iba.

Subalit, sino nga ba talaga ang totoong lumalaban at hindi nakikipagkaisa sa Tagapamahalang Pangkalahatan? Ang gumagawa ng katiwalian at labag sa mga utos ng Diyos o yaong taong sa halip na makiayon sa katiwalian ay mas piniling ihayag ito dahil pilit itong itinatago sa kaalaman ng Tagapamahalang Pangkalahatan? Kayo po ang makapagsasabi. Sabi nga sa leksyon sa pagsamba, si Ananias at Zafira nga, isang bahagi lang ang itinago mula sa namamahala sa Iglesia sa panahon ng mga Apostol, subalit pinarusahan at pinatay ng Diyos. Sumampalataya po tayo na hindi kailanman maitatago ng Sanggunian mula sa paningin ng Panginoong Diyos ginagawang nilang katiwalian at paglilinlang sa Tagapamahalang Pangkalahatan. Parurusahan ng Panginoong Diyos ang gumagawa nito sa loob ng kaniyang kawan.

Salamat sa Panginoong Diyos at mayroon pa rin namang mga kapatid na nananatiling tapat sa mga kalooban ng Diyos at naging bukas ang isipan, kaya agad nilang naunawaan ang tunay na mensahe ng ginagawa kong ito, hindi para sa aking sarili, kundi para sa mahal nating Tagapamahalang Pangkalahatan,para sa mga kapatid at para sa Iglesia sa kabuuan at para sa ikatitibay ng ating pananampalatay upang malampasan natin ang matinding pagsubok na ito ng ating pananampalatay upang matamo nating ang pangakong kaligtasan.

Nawa ay gabayan tayo ng Panginoong Diyos na pagkalooban ng matalinong puso upang matimbang natin ng husto ang mga impormasyong ating tinatanggap upang mapagtanto natin ang tamang kapasyahan, at ito ay walang iba kundi ang tiyaking anumang ating ginagawa ay sangayon sa kalooban ng Diyos at hindi ng sinomang tao o grupo ng tao.
