Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC) will be celebrating 97th Anniversary

Source: AffordableCebu- "Said to be the true church built by Christ, Iglesia Ni Cristo (INC or Church of Christ) will be celebrating its 97th anniversary this July 27, 2011. According to INC members, this church was prophesied by Christ on the first century to reappear in ends of time which is our time. They believe that through the instrumentality of its "Sugo" or messenger of God, "Felix Manalo", the Iglesia Ni Cristo was established and officially registered in the Philippines on July 27, 1914. And in this date "July 27" is declared by the former President Arroyo to be one of the official holiday in the Philippines. That's how special this event is.

And this July 27, INC will inaugurate its 97th anniversary. INC prepared a list of program of activities for the celebration. And its main highlight is the gathering of large number of INC members in each major districts of different countries around the world.

    RD, plastic sila, yon ang sabihin mo. They want to celebrate the birth of Felix but condemns Christians celebrating the birth of Jesus the Son of God and accuse the celebration to be pagan blah blah blah... yon ang ka-plastikan.

    I pity those children that has been born in the INC. That they may never know the truth behind their iglesia. But I hope someday they will learn Catholic doctrines and embrace the true faith.

    @ keb_17, thank you for showing compassion. nonetheless, i want you to know that i am born inside the Church of Christ, and i feel very fortunate and blessed because of that. Moreover, i am also pity of those children born in your church, they didn't learn the truth, and they even know very little about their own faith.

    @ Catholic Defender, we also want to celebrate the birth of our Lord, however, before we do such thing, we need to know first his true birth date. which, i think, is very hard. Also, if we would celebrate Jesus Christ's birth, we will do it in a much rightful way, probably with a worship service. not with parties, gift givings, decorations, caroling etc., which, by the way, mostly are pagan based.

    yes, i said pagan based, i said it because i want to comment on you saying: "...accuse the celebration to be pagan blah blah blah..."
    actually, what we are doing is not "accusing", we are just stating facts that historians and even your own church admits.

    ok, i will answer the question in the article, there will be no big celebration like what we did in our 95th anniversary. i think there will just be evangelical missions and community services. just watch out for our centennial anniversary on 2014. that will be the grandest celebration we will do. we are already preparing for that as early as now.

    Praise and thanks God dahil hindi niya hinayaang manatili sa kanyang Iglesia ang mga manlulupig at mga mandaraya. Tunay nga ang mga pangako ni Cristo noong itatag niya ang kanyang Iglesia na "hinding-hindi ito kailanman magagapi ng kadiliman..."

    And please do not blame us of your parents' negligence to teach you catechism. Yes, devout Catholics receive Catechism in parishes and in schools. Ikaw yung tipong nagsisimba sa tabi ng simbahan at walang ginawa kundi ang tumingin sa suot ng tao o kaya'y nagpupunas sa mga imahe na akala niya mga dios.

    Dahil ang tunay na Katoliko ay nagsasamba sa Dios at nagbibigay galang sa mga namatay alang alang sa pananamplataya-- ang mga Banal at Santo at hindi pinapalagay na mga dios sila...

    Hungkag lang ang gumawa nun, buti na lang umalis sila sa tunay na Iglesia. Malay mo, babalik din kpag napagtanto nilang mali pala ang kinaaaniban nila dahil isa itong korporasyon ng mga Manalo.

    You yourself had been fooled by INC you transferred in that cult without any knowledge of the Catholic Church's doctrines.See who's ignorant now?
    It is never a big lie to teach catechism to our fellow men young and old, rich or poor even prisoners. Since childhood we learn about Christ and the Church even we learn about the Prophets.
    Even if you suggest the Iglesia ni Cristo made by Manalo you can never fool us.

    alam ninyo,kahit ano pang paninira ang gawin ninyo sa "Iglesia ni Cristo".hinding hindi kayo magtatagumpay...habang sinisiraan ninyo mas lalo namng natatanyag ang kanyang kaluwalhatian!tignan nlng ninyo ngayon?kitang kita nating lahat ang mga tagumpay na ibinibigay ng Diyos sa kanyang Iglesia...(huwg na nating isa-isahin pa)sa kabilang banda...nasaan ngayon ang ipinagtatanggol ninyong "katoliko"..d ba napakabilis ang pagbaglagpak nya??ex.napakaraming mga pari ang "hindi makapagtimpi" at ginagahasa pati ang mga maliliit bata, nasisira ang kanilang mga kinabukasan!! ,napakarami ang gumagawa nito...at alam ba ninyong dito napupunta ang mga inihahandog ninyo?para bayaran ang mga kawalanghiyaan na ginawawa ng mga pari ninyo??isa lng ito sa mga halimbawa kung paano bumabagsak ang katoliko,huwag na nating isa-isahin pa..baka mas lalo kayong masaktan..yan ba ang ipinagtatanggol ninyo??

    ganon din naman ang sasabihin namin sa inyo eh. Kahit ano pang paninira ang gawin ninyo sa IGLESIANG KAY CRISTO hinding hindi kayo magtatagumpay... habang sinisiraan ninyo mas lalo naming natatanyag ang kanyang kaluwalhatian. Tingnan na lang ngayon? Kitang-kita natin lahat ang mga tagumpay na ibinibigay ng Dios sa kanyang tunay na Iglesia.

    sapagkat ipinangako niya na HINDING HINDI ito MAGAGAPI kaya't heto papunta na kami sa THIRD MILLENIUM..... kayo hardly centenial pa lang.

    Ang mga paring "nanggahasa" ay tao, hindi ANGHEL or SUGO.

    Tingnan niyo na lang si Felix Manalo, nanggahasa na, umabuso pa sa mga kababaihan ng kanyang iglesia samantalang siya'y tinuturing ninyong ANGHEL at HULING SUGO...

    Sino ngayon ang mas may kasalanan, ang paring hindi nangarap maging anghel o isang taong ipinagpalagay ang sariling mas mataas kay Cristo Hesus?

    @ Catholic Defender ako di ko na kelangan pang makipagtalo which is which, kung gusto mong mapatunayan, bakit hindi ka minsang sumama sa isa sa mga dako ng gawaing pagpapalaganap at baka doon may madagdag sa kaalaman mo na akala moy alam mo ng lahat when it comes to religion.....

    sana makita nyo ang naging pag gabay at pagpatnubay ng diyos sa kapatid na Felix Manalo,

    @anonymous.. nkadalo n kme sa mga GEM at pamamahayag niyo ngunit mas lalo lng tumibay ang paniniwala nmin sa Simbahan. bilad na bilad na rin kmi sa mga paulit-ulit na paksa sa PASUGO at mging sa mga SHOW sa NET25.

    I think you only served the Mass for the sake of serving it. You have no knowledge in the doctrines of the Catholic Faith for that time.

    Tandaan mo ito!. You have disgraced your fellow altar servers by joining INC. You serve the altar of the Lord then you left it because of some brain washing doctrines you have undergone by them. It seems you have Betrayed Christ and denying him in your life.
    A dedicated Acolyte or Altar server will always remain loyal to the Church.
    Do you think Felix Manalo is the huling SUGO? take note he has many issues as an ANGEL.

    GOD will always guide the Catholic Church with the Power of the Holy Spirit.

    @ Alter(sic) Knight... Kung gagawa ka man lang ng kwento, suguraduhin mong tama ang ginagamit mong salita kasi lumilitaw na gusto mo lang palabasin na dati kang "Alter Knight" o gusto mong sabihin eh Altar Knights or Sakristan.

    Ipagpalagay na lang natin na sakristan ka noon, sa tingin mo kapag sakristan ka eh alam mo na ang kabuuang turo ng Santa Iglesia?

    Ang sabihin mo, PAIMBABAW ang pagsisilbi mo noon at baka puro PA-CUTE lamang ang ginagawa mo sa altar, na akala mo ay ikaw ang sentro ng misa.

    Diyan pa lang ay talagang maling mali ka na. Dahil kung ako man ang leader ng Altar Knights, matagal na kitang pinalayas. Ang altar kasi ay hindi stage para magpa-cute dahil ang altar doon ang sentro ay si Cristo Hesus sa Banal na Eucharistia at HINDI IKAW!

    Ngayon bago mo ipangalandakan dito na dati kang sakristan, tanungin mo muna kung naging totoo ka ba sa pagiging altar server mo o kaplastikan lamang ang ginawa mo noon. Ano pa man yan, Dios na ang bahalang humusga sa iyong performance noong ika'y naninilbihan pa sa Dambana ng Banal.
