"The Christianity of history is not Protestantism. If ever there were a safe truth it is this, and Protestantism has ever felt it so; to be deep in history is to cease to be a Protestant." (-John Henry Newman, An Essay on the Development of Christian Doctrine).

"Where the bishop is, there let the people gather; just as where ever Jesus Christ is, there is the Catholic Church". -St. Ignatius of Antioch (ca 110 AD)a martyr later thrown to the lions, wrote to a church in Asia Minor. Antioch was also where the term "Christian" was first used.

“But if I should be delayed, you should know how to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of truth.” 1 Timothy 3:15

"This is the sole Church of Christ, which in the Creed we profess to be one, holy, catholic and apostolic." -CCC 811

Keith Major Conversion Story

From Keith Major's Blog: My family left the Catholic Church when I was 9. Since then, I became actively involved in various Protestant churches/movements for 30 years. At the age 21, I became a licensed minister and moved to Russia to smuggle Bibles into the Soviet Union and plant churches there. After a year and a half, I returned back to the States to receive my parents’ and church’s blessing to marry my Polish Catholic fiancée, Iwona Bednarz-Major. After a long 18-month proving period, I finally received my parents’ blessing but not from my original sending church because the pastor recommended that I should marry someone else. Well shortly after marriage, I got ordained with a different church; and we then moved back overseas to serve as missionaries in Russia, Poland, Saudi Arabia, and Qatar. It’s been a wild and wonderful journey; but now I am finally returning home to the Catholic Church.

He that eateth My flesh, and drinketh My blood, hath everlasting life: and I will raise him up in the last day. For My flesh is meat indeed: and My blood is drink indeed. He that eateth My flesh, and drinketh My blood, abideth in Me, and I in him.” – Jesus
