Catholic Church is celebrating its Birthday. Biblically, on
Pentecost Sunday, when the Holy Spirit came down to the
Blessed Virgin Mary (Jesus' Mother) and the remaining disciples in the form of tongues of fire, that St. Peter spoke with boldness about the Lord Jesus Christ adding some more than
3,000 new Christians in Jerusalem on that day where everyone, "
Parthians,
Medes, and
Elamites, inhabitants of
Mesopotamia,
Judea and
Cappadocia,
Pontus and
Asia,
Phrygia and
Pamphylia,
Egypt and the districts of
Libya near
Cyrene, as well as travelers from
Rome, both
Jews and converts to
Judaism,
Cretans and
Arabs" (
Acts 2:1-11) could understand St. Peter's speech.
To all Catholics, Happy Birthday. May the Holy Spirit's gifts be upon you in your love ones' lives always.
God bless everyone!
