"The Christianity of history is not Protestantism. If ever there were a safe truth it is this, and Protestantism has ever felt it so; to be deep in history is to cease to be a Protestant." (-John Henry Newman, An Essay on the Development of Christian Doctrine).

"Where the bishop is, there let the people gather; just as where ever Jesus Christ is, there is the Catholic Church". -St. Ignatius of Antioch (ca 110 AD)a martyr later thrown to the lions, wrote to a church in Asia Minor. Antioch was also where the term "Christian" was first used.

“But if I should be delayed, you should know how to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of truth.” 1 Timothy 3:15

"This is the sole Church of Christ, which in the Creed we profess to be one, holy, catholic and apostolic." -CCC 811

Pope condemns 'blind violence,' offers prayers after Brussels attacks

Source: Catholic News Service

July 22, 2016

VATICAN CITY (CNS) -- Pope Francis, condemning the "blind violence" of the terrorist attacks in Brussels, offered his prayers to the victims, the injured, their families and all those offering assistance in the aftermath of the bombings.

Cardinal Pietro Parolin, Vatican secretary of state, sent the pope's condolences March 22 to Archbishop Jozef De Kesel of Mechelen-Brussels.

"The Holy Father again condemns the blind violence which causes so much suffering, and he implores from God the gift of peace," the message said.

The pope "entrusts to God's mercy those who died and, in prayer, he shares the pain of their loved ones," the message said. "He expresses his deepest sympathy to the injured and their families, as well as for all those providing assistance, "asking the Lord to give them comfort and consolation amid this ordeal."

Jesuit Father Federico Lombardi, Vatican spokesman, told reporters the attacks in Brussels would not lead to any changes in Pope Francis' Holy Week and Easter schedule. Already for the Year of Mercy, especially after the November terrorist attacks in Paris, the Italian police presence at the Vatican has been increased.

Three nearly simultaneous attacks -- two at the Brussels airport and one on the Brussels area of Maalbeek, near where much of the European Union is based -- left at least 31 dead and dozens more injured. At least one of the airport attacks was attributed to a suicide bomber.

The Associated Press reported that a spokesman for the Brussels Metro said 20 people were killed and more than 100 injured in an explosion on a train, and Belgian media reported at least 11 dead in two explosions at the airport, with many others injured. The Islamic State group claimed responsibility for the attacks.

After the attacks, Belgium raised its terror alert to the highest level.

Belgium's Catholic bishops said they shared "the anguish of thousands of passengers and their families, aviation professionals and aid teams called to the breach once more."

The bishops said airport chaplains were "at the daily service of all," and would "offer the necessary spiritual service," adding that it counted on the whole country to "live through these days with great civic responsibility."

Brussels Auxiliary Bishop Jean Kockerols told the church's Cathobel news agency he was shocked by the savagery of the "completely absurd attacks."

"We must support the efforts of the public authorities we've elected and mandated to serve the common good and maintain law and order -- it's not for us to start polemicizing and making accusations today as to whether they fulfilled their duties and did all they could," Bishop Kockerols said.

"It's a great mystery that this has all happened on the threshold of Holy Week, the most sacred time for Christians, when we are about to mark Good Friday and Easter. In the face of such madness, we should adopt the courageous attitude of Mary, who remained at the foot of the cross in silence."

Cathobel issued an emergency number for those seeking information about missing family members and said it had been in contact with Father Michel Gaillard, the Brussels airport chief chaplain.

Meanwhile, German Cardinal Reinhard Marx, who heads the Brussels-based Commission of the Bishops' Conferences of the European Community, or COMECE, said Catholics would be "praying especially in Holy Week" for victims of the violence.

In a statement, he said he had been concerned about COMECE staffers, who later issued a message confirming that all personnel were safe.

A bishops' conference staffer, Father Geert Lesage, told Catholic News Service he expected Catholic clergy to visit sites of the attacks to offer pastoral care, as well as to organize special Masses as soon as security conditions permitted.

However, he added that all mobile phone connections were now down in Brussels, making it impossible to obtain news of Catholic victims or damage to church property.

Father Charles De Clercq, a Brussels priest, told Cathobel he had been in the first car of the bombed Metro train, which had been "plunged into darkness and filled with smoke" after the explosion.

"Smashed windows fell on my knees -- there was light, smoke and shouts. The driver arrived after two minutes with a lamp and made the passengers leave via an emergency window," the priest said.

"On the floor, passengers were curled up, obviously in pain, who could have been crushed by those in flight. I knew there'd been two explosions in the morning at Zaventem (airport), so I knew there was a real possibility this was also an attack."

A day earlier, gunmen in Bamako, Mali, targeted a hotel that was serving as the headquarters of an EU troops who were there to train the country's military. Mali and other West African countries have been under attack by Islamic extremists.

Catholic Relief Services, which has programs in Mali, announced March 22 that its staffers were safe after the attack.

Muslims Converting to Christianity in Austria, On the Rise Says Bishop

BREAKING NEWS! Paris, France under coordinated attack by Muslim Terrorists!

‘It’s a horror’: Hollande orders French borders closed after Paris terror attack leaves at least 40 dead

Several dozen people were killed Friday in the deadliest attacks to hit Paris since the Second World War, French President Francois Hollande said, announcing that he was closing the country’s borders and declaring a state of emergency.

At least 40 people died in shootings and explosions at at least six sites, many of them in a popular concert hall where patrons were taken hostage, police and medical officials said. The series of attacks gripped the city in fear and recalled the horrors of the Charlie Hebdo carnage just 10 months ago.

“We don’t know where this menace is coming from, but they are terrorists.” Hollande said and that “any means necessary” will be used to neutralize terrorists.

The three locations that were subjected to simultaneous shootings:

Le Petit Cambodge, a restaurant in the 11th Arrondissement
Le Bataclan, a venue in the 11th Arrondissement that is now the site of a hostage crisis.
La Belle Equipe, a restaurant in the 11th Arrondissement

Three police officials confirm that security forces have launched an assault on the Paris concert hall where hostages have been taken.

Additionally, a police union official says there were two suicide attacks and a bombing near the national stadium where France and Germany were playing a friendly match.

The official, Gregory Goupil of the Alliance Police Nationale, whose region includes the area of the stadium, said there were at least three dead in the attacks near the stadium, near two of the entrances and a McDonalds restaurant. He said the explosions went off simultaneously. He did not provide more details.

200 soldiers have been dispatched into the 10th and 11th arrondissements, the epicenter of the attack. A state of emergency has been declared.

The Metro is closed, taxis have fled the downtown. Parisians are returning home on foot. Parts of the city are becoming eerily quiet.

PROPHETIC STATEMENTS: Will a Future Pope Be Forced to Flee Rome?

I can never trust our Muslim brethren who are living in Europe and the Americas while their leading preachers or imam (speaking in Arabic which most of us do not understand) during their Friday prayers announce publicly their intention to conquer Europe and Rome

If that would happen (God forbids), will Protestant churches, or the anti-Catholic sects and culs such as the Iglesia Ni Cristo® of Felix Manalo protect Rome and defend the Vatican and the Pope? Then we will know the Judases and the traitors! -CD2000

The current arc of history seems to be drawing us back into a very dark past—a time when Islam ruled half the civilized world and threatened the rest of it.

A demonstrator holds up a sign reading "I'm Muslim don't panic" during a protest against Islamophobia in front of the Brussels' Justice Palace in Belgium Oct. 26, 2014. (CNS photo/Francois Lenoir, Reuters)

Where will the Pope live when Rome falls to Islam?

It’s not an idle question. For one thing, there is historical precedent. Popes have been forced from Rome in the past. For another thing, numerous Islamic authorities have explicitly targeted Rome for conquest.

Rome may be the Eternal City, but it has seen rough times. In 846, for instance, Pope Leo IV had to briefly flee Rome when it was attacked by an Arab fleet. The following year, he ordered the construction of a great wall around the Vatican to protect it from marauding Muslims. Even as recently as the 1940s, Rome was occupied by a foreign army. Although the Nazis left the pope alone, there is no guarantee that that situation would have continued had the Germans been able to keep the Allied forces at bay.

If Rome ever falls to Islam, the pope—whoever he may be at that time—may choose to remain in Rome and suffer the almost certain martyrdom that would follow. That is up to him and the Holy Spirit. However, in light of the escalating Islamization of Europe, it would seem prudent for Vatican officials to draw up some contingency plans. If the pope chooses exile, it would probably have to be in North or South American since it’s unlikely there will be any safe havens in Europe. In fact, Italy is currently a safer place than many other European nations. Although many Muslim immigrants pass through Italy, it is not their first choice of residence. Other European countries offer much more generous welfare incentives than does Italy. Countries such as England, Belgium, France, Sweden, and Germany are likely to fall first.

By “fall,” I don’t mean that these countries will fall to Muslim armies. That probably won’t be necessary. What we will see—what we are already witnessing—is a slow, steady process of submission. Well, slow and steady up to a point—and then, a rapid acceleration.

Some places in Europe seem already to be in the rapid acceleration phase. Birmingham, England now has more Muslim than Christian children. “That means,” as Mark Steyn observes, “that absent any countervailing dynamic, its future is Muslim.” What will that future look like? Steyn comments:

If you’re a Muslim girl, the authorities will systematically turn a blind eye to forced marriages and honor violence and, if you’re a lower-class infidel girl, to “grooming.” If you’re boorish enough to draw attention to such unpleasantness, you’ll be committing a hate crime…

It’s not necessary to consult a crystal ball to see the future of Birmingham (England’s second largest city). The forced marriages of Muslim girls and the grooming of lower-class girls is already a reality in England. And so is the blind eye response. Most Americans don’t know about it, but it was recently revealed that over a sixteen-year period, 1400 girls in the city of Rotherham had been groomed, gang-raped, and traded by Muslim gangs—and all with the full knowledge of police, city officials, and child protection agencies. No one in authority did anything about it because no one wanted to be charged with “committing a hate crime” by singling out Muslims.

An Open Letter To Muslim World by a French Muslim Philosopher!

Thousands of Germans go to the streets to protest against the Islamization of Europe!

While the world have seen the barbarity of Muslim Jihadists and Extremists from US, Nigeria, Syria, Iraq, Australia and now in the heart of Europe, PARIS, FRANCE, it's very clear to us now that THEY won't be FRIENDLY with us yesterday, today and even tomorrow.

The only mistake we've done to them is that WE ARE INFIDELS in their eyes and so we are all their potential enemies.

In their understanding of PEACE, it can only be achieved when ISLAM becomes the DOMINANT RELIGION in the WORLD, and all non-Muslims or INFIDELS like me, will be SUBJUGATED under the Islamic Law (SHARIAH), stripped off of their basic rights as a human person and live a life of a DHIMMI and pay the JIZYA (Islamic Tax).

And if a non-Muslim or infidel doesn't want to convert to Islam and don't pay the JIZYA, the ultimate punishment is DEATH!

It's the TIME... the RIGHT TIME for us INFIDELS to call a SPADE a SPADE. Throw in the garbage all those political correctness statements by our coward politicians.

Of course, WE DO NOT GENERALIZE MUSLIMS but more or less 80% of all TERRORIST RELATED CRIMES around the world were committed by MUSLIMS.

Everytime there are Muslim related terrorism, "moderate" Muslims are quick to apologize saying "THEY AREN'T MUSLIMS" or they say "THEY DO NOT REPRESENT ISLAM" or still some other say, they are just a "MINORITY" around two per cent.

If these TERRORISTS aren't MUSLIMS, why they are following the very PILLARS of ISLAM:
  • Profess the Shahada (La ilaha illa Allah wa-Muhammad rasul Allah - the same emblem written found in the Saudi Arabian flag and the ISIS symbol)
  • They perform the Salat or prayer five (5) times facing Mecca, Saudi Arabia -- the center of Islamic world where the Kaaba is located.
  • They give Zakat (charity) especially during the month of Ramadan.
  • Religiously practice Sawm (fasting and self-control) during Ramadan
  • Perform Hajj (pilgrimage) or Umrah to Mecca (where the black-stone in the Kaaba is) and Madina (where the burial site of Muhammad is located).
  • Read the Qur'an and the Hadiths
  • Implement Shariah
TWO PER CENT of 1.6 BILLION Muslims around the world is NOT JUST a MINORITY! That is 1.6 MILLION TERRORISTS!

Do not believe OBAMA, ABBOT, HOLLANDE, and other European country leaders who are all IN DENIAL of this reality!

But for us, WE KNOW our ENEMY! It's the ISLAMIC JIHADISTS / MUSLIM EXTREMISTS aka Al Qaeda, Boko Haram, Hamas, ISIS, Jamiat-e Islami, Jemaah Islamiah, Al Nusra Front, Abu Sayyaf, Al Shabaab, Ansar al-Islam, Hezbollah, Muslim Brotherhood, Palestine Liberation Front etc.

Egypt’s Sisi: Islamic “Thinking” Is “Antagonizing the Entire World”
It's time for MUSLIMS to face ISLAM and their IMAM!  There is a serious need to REFORM their RELIGION and that CALL has been STARTED by EGYPT PRESIDENT ABDEL FATTAH EL-SISI Until then, they will ALWAYS see us as their ENEMIES to be CONVERTED, SUBJUGATED, or EXTERMINATED!

In Open Letter To Muslim World, French Muslim Philosopher Says Islam Has Given Birth To Monsters, Needs Reform

Taken from MEMERI (The Middle East Media Research Instutute)

In an essay published October 3, 2014 in the French newspaper Marianne, French Muslim philosopher Abdennour Bidar, author of Self Islam: A Personal History of Islam (Seuil, 2006); Islam without Submission: Muslim Existentialism (Albin Michel, 2008), and A History of Humanism in the West (Armand Colin, 2014), wrote that Muslims cannot make do with denouncing and repudiating terrorist barbarism, but must acknowledge that its roots lie within Muslim society, and especially within the Islam that is prevalent in the Arab world today. He points out that Islam, like all religions, has throughout its history been a source of much good, wisdom and enlightenment, but that today's mainstream Islam rejects the freedom and flexibility that are advocated by the Koran and instead promotes rigidity and regression that ultimately give rise to terrorism. The Muslim world, he concludes, must therefore reform itself, and especially its education systems, based on principles of freedom of religion and thought, equality, and respect for the other.

The following are translated excerpts from his essay:

Abdennour Bidar (image: aujourdhui.ma

"I See That You Are Losing Yourself And Your Dignity, And Wasting Your Time, In Your Refusal To Recognize That This Monster Is Born Of You"

"Dear Muslim world: I am one of your estranged sons, who views you from without and from afar – from France, where so many of your children live today. I look at you with the harsh eyes of a philosopher, nourished from infancy on tasawwuf (Sufism) and Western thought. I therefore look at you from my position of barzakh, from an isthmus between the two seas of the East and the West.

"And what do I see? What do I see better than others, precisely because I see you from afar, from a distance? I see you in a state of misery and suffering that saddens me to no end, but which makes my philosopher's judgment even harsher, because I see you in the process of birthing a monster that presumes to call itself the Islamic State, and which some prefer to call by a demon's name – Da'esh. But worst of all is that I see that you are losing yourself and your dignity, and wasting your time, in your refusal to recognize that this monster is born of you: of your irresoluteness, your contradictions, your being torn between past and present, and your perpetual inability to find your place in human civilization.

Is Islam Really a Peaceful Religion? (with quotes from the Quran)

Today, the world again was in SHOCKED when Breaking News around the world showed three (3) masked gunmen killed 12 French Satirists on a broad daylight.  The three gunmen were identified as MUSLIMS trying to AVENGE their Prophet after Charles Hebdo published a cartoon depicting Muslims prophet satirically.

In the Facebook page of Al-Jazeera, floods of comments poured in, with some Muslims justifying the killing for insulting their prophet Muhammad, some condemn (taqqia)!

So we are back to the same question: HOW PEACEFUL IS ISLAM and MUSLIMS when they are criticized? Thanks to Dr. Taylor Marshall for this brilliant post! -CD2000

By Dr. Taylor Marshall

Is Islam a peaceful religion? Let’s not ask the news sources or the Islamic Studies college profs. Let’s just look at what the Quran itself says. You make the decision for yourself.

Before you look at the verses in the Quran, here are three things to consider:

  1. Muhammad was a military leader. He was more of a general than a guru. Historical records (Islamic and secular) record the battles and raids of Muhammad. Here’s a Quran verse on that topic: Quran (8:67) – “It is not for a Prophet that he should have prisoners of war until he had made a great slaughter in the land…”
  2. In the pattern of Muhammad, leaders of Islam are not immams, pastors, or priests. They are political militaristic leaders. Here’s a Quran verse on that topic: “Quran (47:35) – “Be not weary and faint-hearted, crying for peace, when ye should be uppermost (Shakir: “have the upper hand”) for Allah is with you.”
  3. Why did the Crusades (the first pan-Christian wars) begin in the middle east after Islam began invading and attacking Christian settlements in the 8th through 11th centuries? Could it be that Islam introduced something new the euro-asian political sphere that got things out of whack?

Okay, and now for the verses from the Quran
(This were collected from this site.)

The Quran contains a mandate to kill

The first example explains how those who wage war against Allah should be:
  • crucified
  • murdered
  • have their hands cut off
  • have their feet maimed
  • imprisoned
Quran (5:33) – “The punishment of those who wage war against Allah and His messenger and strive to make mischief in the land is only this, that they should be murdered or crucified or their hands and their feet should be cut off on opposite sides or they should be imprisoned; this shall be as a disgrace for them in this world, and in the hereafter they shall have a grievous chastisement.”

Here’s a verse criticizing Muslim’s remain “peaceful” and refuse to fight:

Quran (4:95) – “Not equal are those believers who sit (at home) and receive no hurt, and those who strive and fight in the cause of Allah with their goods and their persons. Allah hath granted a grade higher to those who strive and fight with their goods and persons than to those who sit (at home). Unto all (in Faith) Hath Allah promised good: But those who strive and fight Hath He distinguished above those who sit (at home) by a special reward.”
Quran (2:191-193) – “And kill them wherever you find them, and turn them out from where they have turned you out. And Al-Fitnah [disbelief] is worse than killing…but if they desist, then lo! Allah is forgiving and merciful. And fight them until there is no more Fitnah [disbelief and worshipping of others along with Allah] and worship is for Allah alone. But if they cease, let there be no transgression except against Az-Zalimun (the polytheists, and wrong-doers, etc.)”
Quran (2:216) – “Fighting is prescribed for you, and ye dislike it. But it is possible that ye dislike a thing which is good for you, and that ye love a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knoweth, and ye know not.” Not only does this verse establish that violence can be virtuous, but it also contradicts the myth that fighting is intended only in self-defense, since the audience was obviously not under attack at the time. From the Hadith, we know that this verse was narrated at a time that Muhammad was actually trying to motivate his people into raiding merchant caravans for loot.

Quran (4:74) – “Let those fight in the way of Allah who sell the life of this world for the other. Whoso fighteth in the way of Allah, be he slain or be he victorious, on him We shall bestow a vast reward.”
Quran (4:76) – “Those who believe, fight in the cause of Allah…”
Quran (4:89) – “They but wish that ye should reject Faith, as they do, and thus be on the same footing (as they): But take not friends from their ranks until they flee in the way of Allah (From what is forbidden). But if they turn renegades, seize them and slay them wherever ye find them; and (in any case) take no friends or helpers from their ranks.”
Quran (8:39) – “And fight with them until there is no more fitna (disorder, unbelief) and religion should be only for Allah”
Quran (8:57) – “If thou comest on them in the war, deal with them so as to strike fear in those who are behind them, that haply they may remember.”

So there are words from the Quran. If you want to understand a religion, read its original texts. They will show you the truth on the matter. Again, make your own conclusions.
