"The Christianity of history is not Protestantism. If ever there were a safe truth it is this, and Protestantism has ever felt it so; to be deep in history is to cease to be a Protestant." (-John Henry Newman, An Essay on the Development of Christian Doctrine).

"Where the bishop is, there let the people gather; just as where ever Jesus Christ is, there is the Catholic Church". -St. Ignatius of Antioch (ca 110 AD)a martyr later thrown to the lions, wrote to a church in Asia Minor. Antioch was also where the term "Christian" was first used.

“But if I should be delayed, you should know how to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of truth.” 1 Timothy 3:15

"This is the sole Church of Christ, which in the Creed we profess to be one, holy, catholic and apostolic." -CCC 811

LifeSite News: Massive turnout for rosary crusade in Poland. Liberals furious

WARSAW, Poland, October 9, 2017 (LifeSiteNews) — Hundreds of thousands of Polish Catholics encircled their country with prayer Saturday, imploring Our Lady’s intervention to save Poland and the world.

As Catholics lined the country’s 2,000-mile border for the “Rosary at the Borders,” progressives and compatible media deemed the national prayer gathering “controversial,” xenophobic, Islamophobic, or “not” representative of the Catholic Church.

“Poland Catholics hold controversial prayer day on borders,” the BBC’s headline said of the event.

CATHOLIC MYTH #4: THE CRUSADES WERE UNPROVOKED ATTACKS AGAINST PEACEFUL MUSLIMS

Posted on March 9, 2015 by Bryan Mercier

Just because something is repeated over and over again does not make it true. The same is true here with the Crusades. In reality, the Crusades were wars of self-defense against the Muslims. Here are the real facts:

Every historian knows that Muhammad was kicked out of Mecca for preaching his new religion. After raising an army in Medina, he returned and sacked Mecca razing it to the ground. Thereafter, his new army garnered much military strength and went on to conquer the entire surrounding area. By the time Muhammad died, his armies had conquered the whole area of land we know today as the “Fertile Crescent.”

After Muhammad’s death, Islam spread even more rapidly. In just 100 years (657 A.D. – 757 A.D.), the conquering armies of Islam decimated everything in their path from Afghanistan to North Africa. They then invaded Europe and seized many islands. They were going for full world conquest. In a short span of time, Islam conquered the Persian Empire, the Roman Empire, and two-thirds of the Byzantine Empire, the last major empire on earth. Over a thousand years of war without batting an eye. One can begin to see why the Crusades were called.

During all of this time, while some Catholic kings may have defended their countries, the Catholic Church herself never retaliated at all but just prayed for peace and hoped the Muslim aggression would stop. However, around the year 1094 A.D, due to the devastation of the Byzantine Empire, Commodore Alexius the 1st called on the pope and the Catholic Church for help in complete desperation. The pope prayed about it for a long time and eventually decided to “come to the aid of our brothers in the East.” THAT was the reason the Crusades were started. An answer to the Emperor’s plea.

Occasionally, thousands of innocent and unarmed Christians were massacred by Muslims while processing on pilgrimage to Jerusalem. In addition, more than half of all Christian lands had been seized by Islamic armies. So, the Church also sought to take back the Holy Land in order to create a safe passage for innocent pilgrims processing there. They also wanted to protect Christians around the world. For all of these reasons, the Crusades were called.

Unlike Islam, the Catholic Church had been a mostly peaceful religion and had done more good for the world than anyone else. I’m not saying that Christians were perfect or that abuses didn’t happen during the Crusades because they did, but they were started as wars of self-defense and as a response to the request of Emperor Alexius I. The Crusades had nothing to do with an “aggressive, power hungry church” who killed peaceful people of other religions or anyone who disagreed with the Catholic religion. That is huge myth which in not historical, not tenable, and not true.

The Great Cathedral of Cordoba (Spain), Who Owns it?

In the headline of The Guardian, it reported that the government of Cordoba (Spain) rejected a Catholic claim over an ownership of a Cathedral turned mosques by the invading Muslims between 711 AD to 788 AD which was returned to Catholics in 1236 AD and was converted to a Catholic Church cathedral.

Due to its antiquity and it's cultural and historical importance, the UNESCO declared in 1984 as one of the prized World Heritage site with "exceptional universal value", thus rejecting any group or entity of its ownership.

But who really owns the Cathedral?

Here is what I've got from Wikipedia:

"The Mosque–Cathedral of Córdoba [2] (Spanish: Mezquita-Catedral de Córdoba), also known as the Great Mosque of Córdoba (Spanish: Mezquita de Córdoba),[3] whose ecclesiastical name is the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Assumption (Spanish: Catedral de Nuestra Señora de la Asunción),[4] is the Catholic cathedral of the Diocese of Córdoba dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary and located in the Spanish region of Andalusia.[5] The structure is regarded as one of the most accomplished monuments of Moorish architecture.

The site was originally built by the Visigoths as the Catholic Basilica of Saint Vincent of Lérins.[6][7][8] When Muslims conquered Spain in 711, the church was first divided into Muslim and Christian halves. This sharing arrangement of the site lasted until 784, when the Christian half was purchased by the Emir 'Abd al-Rahman I, who then proceeded to demolish the entire structure and build the grand mosque of Cordoba on its ground.[7][9] Córdoba returned to Christian rule in 1236 during the Reconquista, and the building was converted to a Roman Catholic church, culminating in the insertion of a Renaissance cathedral nave in the 16th century.[7][8]

Since the early 2000s, Spanish Muslims have lobbied the Roman Catholic Church to allow them to pray in the cathedral.[10][11] This Muslim campaign has been rejected on multiple occasions, both by the church authorities in Spain and by the Vatican.[10][12]
It must be also noted that the same fate of the famous Hagia Sophia Christian Cathedral in Istanbul (Turkey) fell at the hands of the invading Ottoman  Turks (Muslims) in 1453 AD.  As practiced by Muslim conquerors, non-Muslim holy sites were turned into mosques, either to humiliate the conquered state or to showcase the "glorious" victory of Islam over the unbelievers.

Similarly, the fate of the fallen Jewish Temple Mount in Jerusalem in 70 AD was replaced by the Dome of the Rock Mosque when Jerusalem fell under the invading Muslims in 637 AD.

EUROPE'S REFUGEE CRISIS is an ISLAMIC INVASION.. and we have been warned by them...

And then they came under the guise of a refugee...

When in fact the  ISIS had planned this long time tying up with the Radical Muslims living in Europe and the US... In fact ISIS openly warned us...  "ISIS threatens to send 500,000 migrants to Europe as a 'psychological weapon' in chilling echo of Gaddafi's prophecy that the Mediterranean 'will become a sea of chaos'" but we refused to believe them at face value.

Yet.. we welcome them with open arms...

And then this is what you've got...

Remember, ISIS hated us! Muslims do not want to assimilate with us! They HATE the CROSS of Christ! They wanted to wage war with us! They will conquer us not through violent Jihad but through IMMIGRATION-- a STEALTH JIHAD.  WE ARE ISLAM'S ENEMIES...

What is left for us? It's either we have to RECLAIM our COUNTRY or LET THEM RUIN and SUBDUE us until the WORLD BELONGS TO ISLAM!

Distorted History by Muslims: 1001Islamic Inventionss??? And how Muslims destroyed classical civilization!

Why We Are Afraid, A 1400 Year Secret, by Dr Bill Warner

Islamic Inventions were Roman, Greek and Persian.

Uploaded by Ralph Ellis

According to conventional wisdom Islam was a civilized and enlightened creed during the Dark Ages, while the Christian world was wallowing in depravity and ignorance. Islam was, therefore, the guardian and savior of all ancient science, knowledge and wisdom. But that is not true in the slightest. Islam took over many highly educated and highly advanced regions of the Byzantine Empire, at the point of the sword, and forced whole populations to convert to Islam. There were many sects in those times, just like the Alawi, Alevi, Ahmadiyya, Su, Druze and Ishmailis of the modern era, who adopted a cloak of Islam to avoid persecution and death. Those who refused to change their beliefs were forced to live as dhimmis - they were effectively reduced to serfdom in their own lands. The Jewish, Christian and Sabaean dhimmis of the East did the work and paid the taxes, while their Muslim overlords ran the administration and army, and lived in comparative luxury. This is how dhimmi unbelievers have to live in a Muslim controlled society, as the long-suffering Christians of Egypt, Lebanon, Syria and Turkey fully understand. Christians don’t bother complaining that their Muslim neighbour has wronged them, because the social and legal system will not help them in the slightest. Even in supposedly modern and Westernised Turkey, a friend of many years whispered that he was not really Muslim but had to say that he was to keep his job. He made me swear not to tell anyone, that his family had been secret Christians for generations. (Read more here)

Martyrs for their Christian Faith-- that's the real Witnessing!

Posted on the SOLEMNITY OF THE FEAST OF THE ANNUNCIATION!

No recorded Iglesia Ni Cristo® Minister had undergone such a real witnessing! Accurately the INC™ official magazine summarizes that awaiting reward for "faithful servants of God... who die in the Lord..."-CD2000

"... a life of eternal and incomparable bliss awaits a faithful servant of God... yet only the true servants who remained patient and faithful in obeying the commandments of God until the end are assured and given by God the exclusive right to dwell therein: 'Here is the patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus. Then I heard a voice from heaven saying to me, 'Write: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on..'' (Rev. 24:12-13 King James Version, emphasis ours). New Martyr Fr. Ragheed Ganni and his Three Sub-Deacons (†2007)
Source: Facing Islam

"The Chaldean Church immediately mourned for them as martyrs. Benedict XVI prayed for them from Rome. Father Ragheed was one of the most limpid and courageous witnesses of the Christian life in a country among the most afflicted."

My sincere thanks to Curt for sharing with me about Fr. Ragheed's witness for Christ. He was not merely martyred for his faith, but he was a profound struggler and a courageous confessor, battling despair and fear within himself, and strengthening the faith of his flock by choosing to suffer with them and encouraging them with true pastoral love. You can immediately sense his powerful faith in the Risen Christ and the Eucharist. His is a powerful example for us of Christ-like love and self-sacrifice.

The Last Mass of Father Ragheed, a Martyr of the Chaldean Church

They killed him in Mosul, together with three of his subdeacons. In a tormented Iraq, he was a man and a Christian of limpid and courageous faith. Here is a portrait of him, written by someone who knew him well.

by Sandro Magister

ROMA, June 5, 2007 – They killed him on the Sunday after Pentecost, after he had celebrated Mass in his parish church, dedicated to the Holy Spirit, in Mosul.

They killed Father Ragheed Ganni, a Chaldean Catholic priest, together with three subdeacons who were with him – Basman Yousef Daud, Wahid Hanna Isho, and Gassan Isam Bidawed. The assailants led Bidawed’s wife away, and struck down the four men in cold blood. Then they placed vehicles loaded with explosives around their corpses, so that no one would dare to approach them. It was late in the evening before the police in Mosul were able to defuse the explosives and collect the bodies.

The Chaldean Church immediately mourned for them as martyrs. Benedict XVI prayed for them from Rome. Father Ragheed was one of the most limpid and courageous witnesses of the Christian life in a country among the most afflicted.

He was born in Mosul 35 years ago. After graduating from the local university with an engineering degree in 1993, from 1996 to 2003 he studied theology in Rome at the Angelicum, the Pontifical Saint Thomas Aquinas University, pursuing a license in ecumenical theology. Apart from Arabic, he spoke fluent Italian, French, and English. He was a correspondent for the international agency “Asia News,” of the Pontifical Institute for Foreign Missions.

The day after his martyrdom, “Asia News” published this portrait of him:

"Christ challenges evil with his infinite love, he keeps us united and through the Eucharist he gifts us life, which the terrorists are trying to take away".

"Without Sunday, without the Eucharist the Christians in Iraq cannot survive": that was how Fr Ragheed spoke of his community’s hope, a community that was used to facing death on a daily basis, that same death that yesterday afternoon faced him, on his way home from saying mass.

After having fed his faithful with the Body and Blood of Christ, he gave his own blood, his own life for Iraq, for the future of his Church.

This young priest had willingly, knowingly chosen to remain by the side of his parishioners from Holy Spirit parish in Mosul, judged the most dangerous city after Baghdad. His reasoning was simple: without him, without its pastor, his flock would have been lost. In the barbarity of suicide attacks and bombings, one thing at least was clear, and gave him the strength to resist: "Christ”, Ragheed would say, “challenges evil with his infinite love, he keeps us united and through the Eucharist he gifts us life, which the terrorists are trying to take away".

He died yesterday, massacred by blind violence. Killed on his way home from Church, where his people, despite their decreasing numbers, bowed by fear and desperation, continued to come.

"It is our duty not to give in to despair: God will listen to our prayers for peace in Iraq."

"The young people”, Ragheed told us just days ago, “organized surveillance after the recent attacks against the parish, the kidnappings, the threats to religious; priests celebrate mass amidst the bombed out ruins; mothers worry as they see their children face danger to attend catechism with enthusiasm; the elderly come to entrust their fleeing families to God’s protection, they alone remain in their country where they have their roots and built their homes, refusing to flee. Exile for them is unimaginable".

Ragheed was one of them, a strong father figure who wanted to protect his children: "It is our duty not to give in to despair: God will listen to our prayers for peace in Iraq."

In 2003, after finishing his studies in Rome, he decided to return to his country: "that is where I belong, that is my place". He also returned to help in the rebuilding of his nation, the rebuilding of a "free society". He spoke of an Iraq full of hope with a captivating smile: "Saddam has fallen, we have elected a government, we have voted for a Constitution!" He organized theology courses for the lay faithful of Mosul; he worked with the young; he consoled disadvantaged families; this month he was engrossed in helping a small child with serious eye problems undergo surgery in Rome.

His testimony is that of an enthusiastic faith. The target of a series of threats stretching back to 2004, he witnessed the pain of relatives and the loss of friends, and yet he carried on to the very end remembering that there was meaning to be found in that suffering, that carnage, that anarchy of violence: it was to be offered up.

After an attack on his parish, on Palm Sunday last April 1st he said: "We empathise with Christ, who entered Jerusalem in full knowledge that the consequence of His love for mankind was the cross. Thus while bullets smashed our church windows, we offered up our suffering as a sign of love for Christ".

In the midst of the daily difficulties he himself marvelled at a growing awareness of "the great value of Sunday, the day we met the Risen Lord, the day of unity and of love between his community..."

"Each day we wait for the decisive attack”, he said just weeks ago, “but we will not stop celebrating mass; we will do it underground, where we are safer. I am encouraged in this decision by the strength of my parishioners. This is war, real war, but we hope to carry our cross to the very end with the help of Divine Grace".

And in the midst of the daily difficulties he himself marvelled at a growing awareness of "the great value of Sunday, the day we met the Risen Lord, the day of unity and of love between his community, of support and help".

Then the bombings multiplied; the kidnappings of priests in Baghdad and Mosul became more frequent; Sunnis began to demand taxes from Christians to remain in their homes, or face their requisition by militants. Water and electricity grew scarce, telephoning and communicating became difficult. Ragheed began to grow tired, his enthusiasm weakened, to the point where in his last e-mail to AsiaNews, May 28 last, he admitted: "We are on the verge of collapse." And he told of a bomb exploding in the Holy Spirit Church, on the feast of Pentecost May 27; of the "war" which broke out a week before, 7 car bombings, 10 explosions in swift succession, the three day curfew, "prisoners in our own home", of not being able to celebrate the feast of the Ascension, 20 May.

"I am certain about one thing, one single fact that is always true: that the Holy Spirit will enlighten people so that they may work for the good of humanity, in this world so full of evil".

He pondered the path his country had taken: "In a sectarian and confessional Iraq, will there be any space for Christians? We have no support, no group who fights for our cause; we are abandoned in the midst of this disaster. Iraq has already been divided; it will never be the same. What is the future of our Church?".

But then the strength of his faith endured, a tired but solid faith: "I may be wrong, but I am certain about one thing, one single fact that is always true: that the Holy Spirit will enlighten people so that they may work for the good of humanity, in this world so full of evil".

Dearest Ragheed, together with a heart which cries in pain, you leave us your hope and your certainty. By taking you, they aimed to wipe out the hope of Iraq’s Christians. Instead, your martyrdom nourishes and gives new life to your community, to the Iraqi Church and the Church throughout the world. Thank you, Ragheed!

Bakit HINDI DAPAT Maaprobahan ang 'Bangsamoro Basic Law' sa Mindanao

Muslim Leaders Declare Aim Of World Domination. Rome, London, Spain, Paris, America

Islam vs the world!

ISIS THREAT – Supporters of the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) converge at a mosque in Marawi City openly waving the dreaded black flag of the organization and pledging allegiance to its leadership.

HNDI KMI UURONG"!

Takbir! Kafir! Kufar! Mga kalaban ni Allah!

Jihad, Allah is with us!

This is why the BANGSAMORO BASIC LAW should NEVER be approved! They want an ISLAMIC STATE in MINDANAO.  Yesterday, they asked for an Autonomous Region! Today they ask for Bangsamoro Basic Law. Tomorrow they will ask for an Islamic State and complete independence of Mindanao from the Republic of the Philippines!

Now you understand why there was Crusades! It's About Time... No to Islamization of our countries!

Many Muslims question us Christians why we conducted those "deadly" Crusades. Little they know that their imams (islamic teachers) lied to them. The Crusades were conducted in order to protect Christians from Muslims attacking them during pilgrimage to the Holy Land.  Now that Muslims are invading us again, not through invation and  Jihad but through IMMIGRATION, we need to stand on our ground and denounce once against the Islamization of Europe. -CD2000

Record numbers rally against 'Islamisation' in Germany

A record 17,000 anti-Islamic protesters rallied for their tenth demonstration in as many weeks Monday in eastern Germany, celebrating the rise of their far-right populist movement by singing Christmas carols.

Germany has for weeks grappled with the emergence of the "Patriotic Europeans Against the Islamisation of the Occident" or PEGIDA, whose ranks in the city of Dresden have swelled rapidly from just a few hundred in October.

About 4,500 counter-demonstrators marched through the city under the slogan "Dresden Nazi-free", warning that there was no space for racism and xenophobia in the country that perpetrated the Holocaust.

Most PEGIDA followers insist they are not Nazis but patriots who worry about the "watering down" of their Christian-rooted culture and traditions. They often accuse mainstream political parties of betraying them and the media of lying.

Braving cold and wet weather, they gathered outside the historic Semperoper concert hall for their pre-Christmas recital. Police put their numbers at about 17,500, up from the previous high of 15,000 a week earlier... continue reading

Thousands in Dresden rally against Islamization, call for Western values

Thousands took to the streets of Dresden, Germany, to protest the Islamization of their country. Their opponents also rallied at the same time warning about spreading xenophobic ideas in Europe.

At least 10,000 people joined the march of Patriotic Europeans against the Islamization of Europe, or PEGIDA, a German right-wing organization. The protesters say they want to preserve Germany’s Judeo-Christian Western culture, and curb the spread of Islamic State and Al-Qaeda activities in the EU... continue reading

‘BOUT TIME! Anti-Islamization movement heats up in Germany and is starting to spread all over Europe

Every Monday, more and more anti-Islam demonstrators come out to protest in Dresden. Hemmed in by dozens of police vans, more than 17,500 demonstrators stood in the December cold. For an hour and a half, they listened to speeches denouncing Germany’s political class and media institutions, cheered anti-immigrant rhetoric, sang Christmas carols and chanted slogans that rang off the 19th century facade of Dresden’s opera house.

Marchers on Monday carried banners reading “Courage for the truth”, “Stop immigrants abusing our social welfare system” and “We miss our country”.

Michael Stuetzenberger, 55, drove five hours from Munich to join the rally. “We’re being inundated by asylum-seekers and 70 percent of them have no right to be here,” he said. “We want to talk about that. And we’ve got a problem with Islam overrunning us in Germany and Europe. It’s just stupid to say that’s not happening because it is.”

The demonstration was the 10th in as many weeks and the largest to date. Loosely organized under the name PEGIDA, the rallies have shaken Germany’s image of itself as an open, tolerant country.

PEGIDA, Patriotische Europäer gegen eine Islamisierung des Abendlandes (Patriotic Europeans Against the Islamicization of the West), has steadily grown from a Facebook page and a march of a few dozen people in late October into weekly demonstrations attracting thousands of people and the rapt, uncomfortable attention of German politicians and the media...continue reading

The Story of Martin Baani: the Iraqi seminarian who will not leave his people

Erbil, Iraq, (CNS/Aid to the Church in Need).- Bombs are falling and the sound of the explosion is sending shock and fear into the hearts of the people. Amid the sound of crying and frenzied activity, people pack up what belongings they can carry and make off into the night.

In the midst of it all, on the night of Aug. 6, stands Martin Baani, a 24-year-old seminarian. It’s dawning on him that this is Karamlesh’s last stand.

For 1,800 years, Christianity has had a home in the hearts and minds of the people of this town so full of antiquity. Now that era is about to be brought to a calamitous end; Islamic State are advancing.

Martin’s mobile phone rings: a friend stammers out the news that the nearby town of Telkaif has fallen to “Da’ash” – the Arabic name for Islamic State. Karamlesh would surely be next.

Martin dashes out of his aunt’s house, where he is staying, and heads for the nearby St Addai’s Church. He takes the Blessed Sacrament, a bundle of official papers, and walks out of the church. Outside a car awaits – his parish priest, Father Thabet, and three other priests are inside.

Martin gets in and the car speeds off. They leave Karamlesh and the last remnants of the village’s Christian presence go with them.

Speaking to Martin in the calm of St. Peter’s Seminary, Ankawa – a suburb of the Kurdish regional capital of Erbil – it is difficult to imagine he is describing anything except a bad dream. But there is nothing dreamy in Martin’s expression. “Until the very last minute, the Peshmerga were telling us it was safe.”

“But then we heard that they were setting up big guns on St Barbara’s Hill (on the edge of the village) and we knew then the situation had become very dangerous.”

Taking stock of that terrible night, Martin’s confidence is bolstered by the presence of 27 other seminarians at St. Peter’s, many with their own stories of escape from the clutches of the Islamic militants.

Martin and his fellow students for the priesthood know that the future is bleak as regards Christianity in Iraq. A community of 1.5 million Christians before 2003 has dwindled to less than 300,000. And of those who remain, more than a third are displaced. Many, if not most, want a new life in a new country.

Martin, however, is not one of them. “I could easily go,” he explains calmly. “My family now live in California. I already have been given a visa to go to America and visit them.”

“But I want to stay. I don’t want to run away from the problem.”

Martin has already made the choice that marks out the priests who have decided to stay in Iraq: his vocation is to serve the people, come what may.

“We must stand up for our rights; we must not be afraid,” he explains.

Describing in detail the emergency relief work that has occupied so much of his time, it is plain to see that he feels his place is to be with the people.

Martin is already a subdeacon. Now in his final year of theology, ordination to the priesthood is but a few months away.

“Thank you for your prayers,” says Martin, as I take my leave of him. “We count on your support.”

Fake news: priest’s ‘miracle’ conversion to Islam never happened

[Source of Article: Answering Muslims originally from Australian Muslim Times]
Many of you may have spotted the story about an 87-year-old Spanish Catholic priest in Indonesia who converted to Islam after being in a coma for 17 months – well, the story is fake.

It had been claimed in the article that the priest suffered a heart attack while helping volunteers fix the roof of his church.

It was said priest Eduardo Vincenzo Maria Gomez fell two “stories” [sic] and emerged from his coma, saying that “Allah spoke to him and showed him ‘the beauty of the heavens’.”

The story was originally posted to satire website World News Daily Report and used the picture of British naturalist Professor David Bellamy as the supposed priest.

Shortly afterwards, the story went viral around the world.

The article went on to quote the fictitious priest as saying: “I know nothing of Islam. Never once have I read the Quran but God spoke to me and asked me to follow him to the heavens and the Holy light shone through my entire being and behold the golden gates of heaven appeared before me and God told me his name and it was Allah”.

According to a disclaimer posted at the top of all pages on the World News Daily Report website, it is “a news and political satire web publication, which may or may not use real names, often in semi-real or mostly fictitious ways. All news articles contained within worldnewsdailyreport.com are fiction, and presumably fake news.

“Any resemblance to the truth is purely coincidental, except for all references to politicians and/or celebrities, in which case they are based on real people, but still based almost entirely in fiction.”
