"The Christianity of history is not Protestantism. If ever there were a safe truth it is this, and Protestantism has ever felt it so; to be deep in history is to cease to be a Protestant." (-John Henry Newman, An Essay on the Development of Christian Doctrine).

"Where the bishop is, there let the people gather; just as where ever Jesus Christ is, there is the Catholic Church". -St. Ignatius of Antioch (ca 110 AD)a martyr later thrown to the lions, wrote to a church in Asia Minor. Antioch was also where the term "Christian" was first used.

“But if I should be delayed, you should know how to behave in the household of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of truth.” 1 Timothy 3:15

"This is the sole Church of Christ, which in the Creed we profess to be one, holy, catholic and apostolic." -CCC 811

MUST WATCH: Green Lane Islamic Mosque in Burminghan, UK was filmed preaching HATRED against non-Muslims (kuffar)

The Markazi Jamiat Ahl-e-Hadith UK, commonly referred to as Green Lane Mosque, a mosque in Birmingham.

Established in the 1970s, the Masjid occupies a prominent corner site in Green Lane, Small Heath, Birmingham. One of the buildings had been constructed as a public library and baths, designed by local architects Martin & Chamberlain and built in the redbrick and terracotta Gothic-Jacobean style between 1893 and 1902. It is a Grade II listed building. The complex includes prayer halls for men and women, a community hall, madrasah, library, shop, some accommodation, and it also provides funeral services to the local Muslim community.

It was also one of the main mosques that featured in Channel 4's Dispatches programme Undercover Mosque, which investigated religious extremism in British mosques including preachers advocating violence, anti-Semitism, sexism and homophobia. West Midlands Police subsequently investigated the programme, feeling there may have been a misrepresentation of the mosque that could have incited religious hatred.

The mosque works closely with Birmingham City Council, West Midlands Police and local emergency services and, in 2007, came second in a national competition run by the British Islam Channel to find the country's 'Model Mosque'. -Wikipedia

PROPHETIC STATEMENTS: Will a Future Pope Be Forced to Flee Rome?

I can never trust our Muslim brethren who are living in Europe and the Americas while their leading preachers or imam (speaking in Arabic which most of us do not understand) during their Friday prayers announce publicly their intention to conquer Europe and Rome

If that would happen (God forbids), will Protestant churches, or the anti-Catholic sects and culs such as the Iglesia Ni Cristo® of Felix Manalo protect Rome and defend the Vatican and the Pope? Then we will know the Judases and the traitors! -CD2000

The current arc of history seems to be drawing us back into a very dark past—a time when Islam ruled half the civilized world and threatened the rest of it.

A demonstrator holds up a sign reading "I'm Muslim don't panic" during a protest against Islamophobia in front of the Brussels' Justice Palace in Belgium Oct. 26, 2014. (CNS photo/Francois Lenoir, Reuters)

Where will the Pope live when Rome falls to Islam?

It’s not an idle question. For one thing, there is historical precedent. Popes have been forced from Rome in the past. For another thing, numerous Islamic authorities have explicitly targeted Rome for conquest.

Rome may be the Eternal City, but it has seen rough times. In 846, for instance, Pope Leo IV had to briefly flee Rome when it was attacked by an Arab fleet. The following year, he ordered the construction of a great wall around the Vatican to protect it from marauding Muslims. Even as recently as the 1940s, Rome was occupied by a foreign army. Although the Nazis left the pope alone, there is no guarantee that that situation would have continued had the Germans been able to keep the Allied forces at bay.

If Rome ever falls to Islam, the pope—whoever he may be at that time—may choose to remain in Rome and suffer the almost certain martyrdom that would follow. That is up to him and the Holy Spirit. However, in light of the escalating Islamization of Europe, it would seem prudent for Vatican officials to draw up some contingency plans. If the pope chooses exile, it would probably have to be in North or South American since it’s unlikely there will be any safe havens in Europe. In fact, Italy is currently a safer place than many other European nations. Although many Muslim immigrants pass through Italy, it is not their first choice of residence. Other European countries offer much more generous welfare incentives than does Italy. Countries such as England, Belgium, France, Sweden, and Germany are likely to fall first.

By “fall,” I don’t mean that these countries will fall to Muslim armies. That probably won’t be necessary. What we will see—what we are already witnessing—is a slow, steady process of submission. Well, slow and steady up to a point—and then, a rapid acceleration.

Some places in Europe seem already to be in the rapid acceleration phase. Birmingham, England now has more Muslim than Christian children. “That means,” as Mark Steyn observes, “that absent any countervailing dynamic, its future is Muslim.” What will that future look like? Steyn comments:

If you’re a Muslim girl, the authorities will systematically turn a blind eye to forced marriages and honor violence and, if you’re a lower-class infidel girl, to “grooming.” If you’re boorish enough to draw attention to such unpleasantness, you’ll be committing a hate crime…

It’s not necessary to consult a crystal ball to see the future of Birmingham (England’s second largest city). The forced marriages of Muslim girls and the grooming of lower-class girls is already a reality in England. And so is the blind eye response. Most Americans don’t know about it, but it was recently revealed that over a sixteen-year period, 1400 girls in the city of Rotherham had been groomed, gang-raped, and traded by Muslim gangs—and all with the full knowledge of police, city officials, and child protection agencies. No one in authority did anything about it because no one wanted to be charged with “committing a hate crime” by singling out Muslims.

An Open Letter To Muslim World by a French Muslim Philosopher!

Thousands of Germans go to the streets to protest against the Islamization of Europe!

While the world have seen the barbarity of Muslim Jihadists and Extremists from US, Nigeria, Syria, Iraq, Australia and now in the heart of Europe, PARIS, FRANCE, it's very clear to us now that THEY won't be FRIENDLY with us yesterday, today and even tomorrow.

The only mistake we've done to them is that WE ARE INFIDELS in their eyes and so we are all their potential enemies.

In their understanding of PEACE, it can only be achieved when ISLAM becomes the DOMINANT RELIGION in the WORLD, and all non-Muslims or INFIDELS like me, will be SUBJUGATED under the Islamic Law (SHARIAH), stripped off of their basic rights as a human person and live a life of a DHIMMI and pay the JIZYA (Islamic Tax).

And if a non-Muslim or infidel doesn't want to convert to Islam and don't pay the JIZYA, the ultimate punishment is DEATH!

It's the TIME... the RIGHT TIME for us INFIDELS to call a SPADE a SPADE. Throw in the garbage all those political correctness statements by our coward politicians.

Of course, WE DO NOT GENERALIZE MUSLIMS but more or less 80% of all TERRORIST RELATED CRIMES around the world were committed by MUSLIMS.

Everytime there are Muslim related terrorism, "moderate" Muslims are quick to apologize saying "THEY AREN'T MUSLIMS" or they say "THEY DO NOT REPRESENT ISLAM" or still some other say, they are just a "MINORITY" around two per cent.

If these TERRORISTS aren't MUSLIMS, why they are following the very PILLARS of ISLAM:
  • Profess the Shahada (La ilaha illa Allah wa-Muhammad rasul Allah - the same emblem written found in the Saudi Arabian flag and the ISIS symbol)
  • They perform the Salat or prayer five (5) times facing Mecca, Saudi Arabia -- the center of Islamic world where the Kaaba is located.
  • They give Zakat (charity) especially during the month of Ramadan.
  • Religiously practice Sawm (fasting and self-control) during Ramadan
  • Perform Hajj (pilgrimage) or Umrah to Mecca (where the black-stone in the Kaaba is) and Madina (where the burial site of Muhammad is located).
  • Read the Qur'an and the Hadiths
  • Implement Shariah
TWO PER CENT of 1.6 BILLION Muslims around the world is NOT JUST a MINORITY! That is 1.6 MILLION TERRORISTS!

Do not believe OBAMA, ABBOT, HOLLANDE, and other European country leaders who are all IN DENIAL of this reality!

But for us, WE KNOW our ENEMY! It's the ISLAMIC JIHADISTS / MUSLIM EXTREMISTS aka Al Qaeda, Boko Haram, Hamas, ISIS, Jamiat-e Islami, Jemaah Islamiah, Al Nusra Front, Abu Sayyaf, Al Shabaab, Ansar al-Islam, Hezbollah, Muslim Brotherhood, Palestine Liberation Front etc.

Egypt’s Sisi: Islamic “Thinking” Is “Antagonizing the Entire World”
It's time for MUSLIMS to face ISLAM and their IMAM!  There is a serious need to REFORM their RELIGION and that CALL has been STARTED by EGYPT PRESIDENT ABDEL FATTAH EL-SISI Until then, they will ALWAYS see us as their ENEMIES to be CONVERTED, SUBJUGATED, or EXTERMINATED!

In Open Letter To Muslim World, French Muslim Philosopher Says Islam Has Given Birth To Monsters, Needs Reform

Taken from MEMERI (The Middle East Media Research Instutute)

In an essay published October 3, 2014 in the French newspaper Marianne, French Muslim philosopher Abdennour Bidar, author of Self Islam: A Personal History of Islam (Seuil, 2006); Islam without Submission: Muslim Existentialism (Albin Michel, 2008), and A History of Humanism in the West (Armand Colin, 2014), wrote that Muslims cannot make do with denouncing and repudiating terrorist barbarism, but must acknowledge that its roots lie within Muslim society, and especially within the Islam that is prevalent in the Arab world today. He points out that Islam, like all religions, has throughout its history been a source of much good, wisdom and enlightenment, but that today's mainstream Islam rejects the freedom and flexibility that are advocated by the Koran and instead promotes rigidity and regression that ultimately give rise to terrorism. The Muslim world, he concludes, must therefore reform itself, and especially its education systems, based on principles of freedom of religion and thought, equality, and respect for the other.

The following are translated excerpts from his essay:

Abdennour Bidar (image: aujourdhui.ma

"I See That You Are Losing Yourself And Your Dignity, And Wasting Your Time, In Your Refusal To Recognize That This Monster Is Born Of You"

"Dear Muslim world: I am one of your estranged sons, who views you from without and from afar – from France, where so many of your children live today. I look at you with the harsh eyes of a philosopher, nourished from infancy on tasawwuf (Sufism) and Western thought. I therefore look at you from my position of barzakh, from an isthmus between the two seas of the East and the West.

"And what do I see? What do I see better than others, precisely because I see you from afar, from a distance? I see you in a state of misery and suffering that saddens me to no end, but which makes my philosopher's judgment even harsher, because I see you in the process of birthing a monster that presumes to call itself the Islamic State, and which some prefer to call by a demon's name – Da'esh. But worst of all is that I see that you are losing yourself and your dignity, and wasting your time, in your refusal to recognize that this monster is born of you: of your irresoluteness, your contradictions, your being torn between past and present, and your perpetual inability to find your place in human civilization.

Muslim Leaders Declare Aim Of World Domination. Rome, London, Spain, Paris, America, ISIS

MUST WATCH!

Our political policies have failed us when Muslim immigrants are UNWILLING to ASSIMILATE within our societies. They refuse to pledge allegiance to our country's CONSTITUTION but to Islam and Muhammad. They want SHARIAH to be the law within our democratic countries.  Now, every Muslim is making headlines with a CLEAR INTENTION of ISLAMICIZING the Christian world (secular world) including ROME and the VATICAN STATES.  Our POLITICIANS have failed us and our RELIGIOUS LEADERS do not directly condemn violent verses form the Quran and Hadiths out of POLITICAL CORRECTNESS. If we keep silent, soon ISLAM will SILENCE our rights to voice our objection.  While we are still DEMOCRATIC, let's say NO TO ISLAMIZATION and NO TO SHARIAH!

IT'S TIME! We need another CRUSADES!

A GERMAN'S VIEW OF ISLAM - WORTH A READ

This is by far the best explanation of the Muslim terrorist situation I have ever read.

The author's references to past history are accurate and clear. It's not a lengthy read, it's easy to understand, and it's well worth the read.

The author of this email is Dr.Emanuel Tanya, a well-known and well-respected psychiatrist.

A man, whose family was German aristocracy prior to World War II, owned a number of large industries and estates.

When he was asked how many German people were true Nazis, the answer he gave can guide our attitude toward fanaticism.

'Very few people were true Nazis,' he said, 'but many enjoyed the return of German pride, and many more were too busy to care. I was one of those who just thought the Nazis were a bunch of fools. So, the majority just sat back and let it all happen. Then, before we knew it, they owned us, and we had lost control, and the end of the world had come.

My family lost everything. I ended up in a concentration camp and the Allies destroyed my factories.'
We are told again and again by 'experts' and 'talking heads' that Islam is the religion of peace and that the vast majority of Muslims just want to live in peace. Although this unqualified assertion may be true, it is entirely irrelevant. It is meaningless fluff, meant to make us feel better, and meant to somehow diminish the spectre of fanatics rampaging across the globe in the name of Islam.
The fact is that the fanatics rule Islam at this moment in history.

It is the fanatics who march.

It is the fanatics who wage any one of 50 shooting wars worldwide.

It is the fanatics who systematically slaughter Christian or tribal groups throughout Africa and are gradually taking over the entire continent in an Islamic wave.

It is the fanatics who bomb, behead, murder, or honour-kill. It is the fanatics who take over mosque after mosque.

It is the fanatics who zealously spread the stoning and hanging of rape victims and homosexuals.
It is the fanatics who teach their young to kill and to become suicide bombers.

The hard, quantifiable fact is that the peaceful majority, the 'silent majority,' is cowed and extraneous.
Communist Russia was comprised of Russians who just wanted to live in peace, yet the Russian Communists were responsible for the murder of about 20 million people. The peaceful majority were irrelevant.

China's huge population was peaceful as well, but Chinese Communists managed to kill a staggering 70 million people..

The average Japanese individual prior to World War II was not a warmongering sadist. Yet, Japan murdered and slaughtered its way across South East Asia in an orgy of killing that included the systematic murder of 12 million Chinese civilians; most killed by sword, shovel, and bayonet.
And who can forget Rwanda , which collapsed into butchery. Could it not be said that the majority of Rwandans were 'peace loving'?

History lessons are often incredibly simple and blunt, yet for all our powers of reason, we often miss the most basic and uncomplicated of points: Peace-loving Muslims have been made irrelevant by their silence.

Peace-loving Muslims will become our enemy if they don't speak up, because like my friend from Germany , they will awaken one day and find that the fanatics own them, and the end of their world will have begun.

Peace-loving Germans, Japanese, Chinese, Russians, Rwandans, Serbs, Afghans, Iraqis, Palestinians, Somalis, Nigerians, Algerians, and many others have died because the peaceful majority did not speak up until it was too late..

Now Islamic prayers have been introduced into Toronto and other public schools in Ontario , and, yes, in Ottawa too, while the Lord's Prayer was removed (due to being so offensive?). The Islamic way may be peaceful for the time being in our country until the fanatics move in.

In Australia , and indeed in many countries around the world, many of the most commonly-consumed food items have the halal emblem on them.

Just look at the back of some of the most popular chocolate bars, and at other food items in your local supermarket.

Food on aircraft have the halal emblem, just to appease the privileged minority who are now rapidly expanding within the nation’s' shores.

In the U.K, the Muslim communities refuse to integrate and there are now dozens of “no-go” zones within major cities across the country that the police force dare not intrude upon. Sharia law prevails there, because the Muslim community in those areas refuse to acknowledge British law.

As for us who watch it all unfold, we must pay attention to the only group that counts - the fanatics who threaten our way of life.

Lastly, anyone who doubts that the issue is serious and just deletes this email without sending it on, is contributing to the passivity that allows the problems to expand. So, extend yourself a bit and send this on and on and on! Let us hope that thousands, world-wide, read this and think about it, and they also continue to send it on - before it's too late.

And we are silent......and then.....silenced.

Now you understand why there was Crusades! It's About Time... No to Islamization of our countries!

Many Muslims question us Christians why we conducted those "deadly" Crusades. Little they know that their imams (islamic teachers) lied to them. The Crusades were conducted in order to protect Christians from Muslims attacking them during pilgrimage to the Holy Land.  Now that Muslims are invading us again, not through invation and  Jihad but through IMMIGRATION, we need to stand on our ground and denounce once against the Islamization of Europe. -CD2000

Record numbers rally against 'Islamisation' in Germany

A record 17,000 anti-Islamic protesters rallied for their tenth demonstration in as many weeks Monday in eastern Germany, celebrating the rise of their far-right populist movement by singing Christmas carols.

Germany has for weeks grappled with the emergence of the "Patriotic Europeans Against the Islamisation of the Occident" or PEGIDA, whose ranks in the city of Dresden have swelled rapidly from just a few hundred in October.

About 4,500 counter-demonstrators marched through the city under the slogan "Dresden Nazi-free", warning that there was no space for racism and xenophobia in the country that perpetrated the Holocaust.

Most PEGIDA followers insist they are not Nazis but patriots who worry about the "watering down" of their Christian-rooted culture and traditions. They often accuse mainstream political parties of betraying them and the media of lying.

Braving cold and wet weather, they gathered outside the historic Semperoper concert hall for their pre-Christmas recital. Police put their numbers at about 17,500, up from the previous high of 15,000 a week earlier... continue reading

Thousands in Dresden rally against Islamization, call for Western values

Thousands took to the streets of Dresden, Germany, to protest the Islamization of their country. Their opponents also rallied at the same time warning about spreading xenophobic ideas in Europe.

At least 10,000 people joined the march of Patriotic Europeans against the Islamization of Europe, or PEGIDA, a German right-wing organization. The protesters say they want to preserve Germany’s Judeo-Christian Western culture, and curb the spread of Islamic State and Al-Qaeda activities in the EU... continue reading

‘BOUT TIME! Anti-Islamization movement heats up in Germany and is starting to spread all over Europe

Every Monday, more and more anti-Islam demonstrators come out to protest in Dresden. Hemmed in by dozens of police vans, more than 17,500 demonstrators stood in the December cold. For an hour and a half, they listened to speeches denouncing Germany’s political class and media institutions, cheered anti-immigrant rhetoric, sang Christmas carols and chanted slogans that rang off the 19th century facade of Dresden’s opera house.

Marchers on Monday carried banners reading “Courage for the truth”, “Stop immigrants abusing our social welfare system” and “We miss our country”.

Michael Stuetzenberger, 55, drove five hours from Munich to join the rally. “We’re being inundated by asylum-seekers and 70 percent of them have no right to be here,” he said. “We want to talk about that. And we’ve got a problem with Islam overrunning us in Germany and Europe. It’s just stupid to say that’s not happening because it is.”

The demonstration was the 10th in as many weeks and the largest to date. Loosely organized under the name PEGIDA, the rallies have shaken Germany’s image of itself as an open, tolerant country.

PEGIDA, Patriotische Europäer gegen eine Islamisierung des Abendlandes (Patriotic Europeans Against the Islamicization of the West), has steadily grown from a Facebook page and a march of a few dozen people in late October into weekly demonstrations attracting thousands of people and the rapt, uncomfortable attention of German politicians and the media...continue reading

Italian Bishop: Muslims Must Condemn Islamist Violence or Leave Italy

Says Nobody Wants Enemies in Their Own Home
Rome, September 08, 2014 (Zenit.org) Staff Reporter

An Italian bishop has called on Muslims in traditionally Christian countries in Europe to publicly denounce Islamist persecution or they should be "courageous" enough to own up to their beliefs "and leave our country," because "nobody wants enemies in their own home."

In a forceful editorial in his local diocesan newspaper this past weekend, Bishop Tommaso Ghirelli of Imola called on citizens to stop blaming foreigners en masse. “Rather we are asking the Muslims who live among us to show that they are honourable men, and publicly condemn these persecutions and acts of cruelty,” he said. “Otherwise they ought to have the courage to leave our country, because nobody wants to have enemies in their own home.”

He added: “We know that they are intimidated by fundamentalists, but the time has come to break the vicious cycle of abuse.”

He also called on politicians to fulfil their duty to protect and defend the lives and the freedom of the people, otherwise they “will pay dearly for every silence and every act of cowardice.”

Bishop Ghirelli’s words have already shaken consciences. The president of the House of Islamic Culture in Imola, Mohamed Sabir, wishes to address the bishop’s concerns during commemorations on September 11, the 13thanniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

Here below is the full text of Bishop Ghirelli’s editorial:

THE CALIPHATE AND REFUGEES

September 7, 2014

Let’s take a look at what’s behind the influx of refugees and immigrants arriving by sea, and the vast number of youth and entire families from Africa and the Orient that have come into Europe across the “mare nostrum” [the Mediterranean Sea] in the space of one year. The number is about 150,000, by the end of the year it will be almost 200,000.

It is certain that we will see not one, but a complete series of dramatic conflicts, political problems and social tensions. This is the reason we are talking now about a third world war in progress. As well as the immediate response to the emergency, the most important thing [to do] is to look further than the sea. Which means also looking – by reflex – at our own home: not only in political spheres, not only in business affairs, but also inside our own hearts. Is there fatalism or resignation there? What is happening to me?

So, let’s look then at distinguishing first of all the refugees – those in search of asylum – and the immigrants – those in search of work.

The wars the refugees are escaping from are not natural phenomena. Who is causing them? For what reasons? Who precisely are the contenders? We must be informed and be informed by the ones who know. Also this diocesan weekly is called to play a part here.

Some dramatic warnings were launched at the end of the terrible month of August by Syrian and Iraqi bishops at the Meeting in Rimini. The proposal to have another day of prayer for Syria and the Middle East on Sunday September 7 was launched, repeating the one of a year ago at Pope Francis’ invitation. We note that in the meantime the conflict has extended and has aggravated, even if politicians have become more circumspect, by recognizing some of their grave errors. The number of victims however is rising; the persecution of Christians has spread to other religious minorities and the cruelty and arrogance of the armed bands have reached levels of bestial paroxysm. Faced with the armed actions of ISIS, the people are appealing to Governments and International Authorities.

It is my view that we must be demanding of them, like the courageous mothers of the Russian soldiers.

Politicians, you have the duty to protect and defend - not supremacy, but the lives and the freedom of the people, otherwise you will pay dearly for every silence and every act of cowardice. And we the citizens must stop blaming foreigners en bloc. Rather we are asking the Muslims who live among us to show that they are honourable men, and publicly condemn these persecutions and acts of cruelty. Otherwise they ought to have the courage to leave our country, because nobody wants to have enemies in their own home. We know that they are intimidated by fundamentalists, but the time has come to break the vicious cycle of abuse.

The situation is grave, so let’s all get started without hesitation, going beyond either do-goodism or intolerance.

Bishop Tommaso Ghirelli, Bishop of Imola.

The Attack on Christians in the Middle East

Though you would never guess it from the paucity of coverage in the major news media, there is a fierce persecution of Christians going on in the Middle East. In Egypt, convents and churches are being burned to the ground and Copts, members of one of the most ancient Christian communities, are being routinely harassed, tortured, and arrested. In Iraq, the ISIS group, hoping to re-establish a “caliphate” across the northern sector of the Middle East, is brutally persecuting Christians. Just recently, an ultimatum was issued in Mosul, where Christians have been living for over 1,600 years, that believers in Jesus have to pay a stiff fine, leave the country, or be put to death. And the sheer shock of these extreme instances can allow us to overlook the fact that in Saudi Arabia Christians are not permitted to build churches or to practice their faith publicly in any way.

Moreover, Muslim persecution of Christianity is not limited to the Middle East. Islamist radicals have been attacking Christians in Indonesia, India, and Philippines for quite some time. And perhaps the most extreme examples of this persecution are the attacks launched by the Islamist group Boko Haram in Nigeria. This terrorist sect has burned churches, wantonly killed innocent Christians at worship, and most recently, kidnapped hundreds of Christian girls whose crime was attending school.

It is easy enough to condemn these actions as deeply inhumane, but I would like to press the critique a bit further, drawing attention to the work of Pope Francis’s two immediate predecessors. Pope John Paul II was the most vocal defender of human rights in the 20th century. Across the world and in hundreds of different venues, he insisted that the respect for fundamental human rights must be the key to a just political order. And of all the human rights—to life, liberty, a just wage, access to the ballot—the most basic, he taught, was the right to religious freedom. This is because the spiritual aspiration of the human heart is what defines us as human beings. The violation of that most sacred of “spaces” is, therefore, the most offensive, the most heinous and de-humanizing. To use the threat of force to compel someone to change his religious beliefs—which we are regularly seeing in the Middle East—is not only criminal but wicked.

It is also deeply irrational—a point made by Pope Benedict XVI in his address at the University of Regensburg in September of 2006. In that controversial speech, Pope Benedict drew attention to a little-known dialogue between the 14th-century Byzantine emperor Manuel II Paleologus and a Muslim interlocutor. The Emperor pointed out that the idea of spreading the faith through violent conquest, which is recommended in the Qur’an, is supremely irrational, and the reasons he gives anticipate John Paul II by six centuries. Faith is a function, not of the body, but of the soul, and therefore coercion through bodily persecution cannot even in principle awaken authentic faith. One must, instead, be skilled in arguments that would appeal to the mind: “to convince a reasonable soul, one does not need a strong arm, or weapons of any kind, or any other means of threatening a person with death.” In a word, the idea of the holy war is not syn logon (according to the word or reason). And here is the decisive point: what is unreasonable is out of step with God’s own nature, since God, on the Christian reading, is identified with Logos: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”

However, in Muslim teaching, Allah’s nature is so transcendent that it goes beyond any and all categories, including that of reason. Pope Benedict cites the noted French Islamic scholar R. Arnaldez, who points out that Allah is not even bound by his own word, so that if he so chose, he could recommend idolatry as morally praiseworthy. This elevation of the divine will over the divine mind, called “voluntarism” in the West, is, for Benedict, the source of enormous confusion and mischief. Most notably and dangerously, it opens the door to the idea of divinely sanctioned violence. Now I fully realize that many Christians over the centuries have done terrible things in the name of God and that the overwhelming majority of Muslims are peaceful and non-violent. But I think it is clear that when Christians act in such a way, they are unequivocally at odds with their own conception of God. Is the same true of Muslims? I am still waiting for a compelling answer from the Muslim camp to the question posed eight years ago by Pope Benedict. At the time, of course, Islamist radicals responded by killing a number of innocent Christians – certainly a curious way of refuting the notion that divinely sanctioned violence is irrational!

In the meantime, I believe that all people of good will ought to pray for both the victims and their persecutors, for the best way to honor God is through an act of compassion. The same God who is identified with Logos is, according to the first letter of John, also identified with Love.

Don't encourage Arab revolutions, Melkite patriarch tells Western leaders

Patriarch Gregorios III
By Benjamin Mann
Damascus, Syria, (CNA).- Patriarch Gregorios III, the Syria-based head of the Melkite Greek-Catholic Church, is warning Western leaders not to encourage the revolutions currently shaking up the Middle East.

“Our Arab countries are not ready for revolutions, and not even for democracy of the European kind and model,” the patriarch explained in a recent letter to Western leaders. “I am asking the West not to encourage revolutions unconditionally here and there in the Arab world.”

In the patriarch's native Syria, government forces have killed hundreds of protesters in response to continuing mass demonstrations.

Muslims in London Defend Islamic Terrorists and Vowed "Islam will Dominate the World"

Muslims hold mock funeral for bin Laden in London, threatening revenge and waving signs proclaiming "Islam will dominate the world". Thank to JihadWatch

"I want to remind them to not be excessive in their demands,” said Perkasa chief Datuk Ibrahim Ali

Are we not witnessing how Muslims excessively demand for mosques built  in our cities and the Qur'an being translated to local languages even Muslims are minorities? While we, non-Muslims living in their cities have to live in constant fear from threat and violence from its own people according to the dictates of their secular laws? Sensitivities demands equal sensitivity so please do not think that a translation of the Bible to local Malaysian languages could make a Muslim a convert. Our Bible is a "corrupted book" right? So there is nothing to be afraid of.  All we wanted is to share with non-Christians a "best selling novel" called THE BIBLE and maybe some would want to believe in a book that has been "corrupted" according to the Islamic teachings. -CD2000
Don’t test patience of Malays, Perkasa warns Christians Comments @ JihadWatch  By Shazwan Mustafa Kamal
The Perkasa chief accused Christians of exploiting
sensitive issues ahead of the Sarawak elections.
KUALA LUMPUR (The Malaysian Insider) — Christians should be wary of making unreasonable demands such as asking that bibles be printed in Bahasa Malaysia, Perkasa chief Datuk Ibrahim Ali said today.
The Malay rights group president said that Malays have been patient for “far too long” and have allowed non-Malays to make excessive demands.
“How many Malays are Christian? Why do you have to have bibles in Bahasa? Why not use bahasa Iban, or Kadazan?
“This is a problem of national security ... we (Malays) have been far too giving, I want to remind them to not be excessive in their demands,” said Ibrahim.
“They are not the majority of the country,” he stressed.

"French" Muslim Women Defies French Laws in Favor of Islam and Shariah

Today and onwards, Muslim extremists and Muslim women activists are expected to defy one of Europe's most couregous countries after Belgium BANNING Burqa and Niqab an Islamic veiling of women that were used by Islamic terrorists to attack our cities disrupting our peaceful co-existence. While Muslim women living in the Middle East were barred from expressing their political views, Muslim women in our democratic societies were enjoying our political system while dissenting our national interest and security. French people had spoken-- NO TO BURQAS and NIQABS. End of the story.

As a lover of democracy, equality and co-existence, I would like to see Christians freely expressing their faith in Saudi Arabia and other Muslim cities in the Middle East without coercion, violent threats, discrimination and intolerance by the same group of people who are demanding their religious rights in our democratic cities. That's only a piece of clothing but how about your Islamic cities where carrying Rosaries is a CRIME and expressing our Christian faith in secrecy for the fear of Saudi Religious police (Muttawa).  IMHO if they can't live with our LAWS, I am certain Saudi Arabia is willing to take them under the political asylum agreement where they can fully enjoy full implementation of Islamic Shariah where they women enjoy wearing their Niqab and Burqa at all times. -CD2000
For life, liberty and the burqa: Muslim women defy France's ban on full-face veils

THEY are the women prepared to defy France for the burqa.

From today French police have the power to stop Muslim women wearing full-face veils and to threaten them with fines or prison if they refuse to expose their faces.

All over France posters have been put up reminding veil-clad women that “the Republic lives with its face uncovered”.

Is this Paris, FRANCE? Or Riyadh, SAUDI ARABIA?

Europe’s stuttering timidity in denouncing the persecution of Christians

by Bernardo Cervellera (Comments can be read at JihadWatch)
After nearly three weeks, finally a European text condemns the violations of religious freedom of Christians. The statement suffers from "excessive" balance and distance. The EU's inability to understand what is happening in North Africa and the Middle East is a result of its ignoring its Christian roots. Without a sense of identity the ability to read the situation or offer a way forward. The teaching of Benedict XVI.

Rome (AsiaNews) - After more than three weeks of debate, the EU has managed to produce a text that explicitly mentions Christians as victims of persecution and the object of violent attacks. An earlier text had been prepared in January, after the terrorist attack on the Church in Baghdad and the massacre at the Church in Alexandria, but was it rejected because of the lack of references to Christians, since the EU preferred to use generic term "religious minorities".

The new text approved yesterday explicitly mentions "Christians and their places of worship" victims of "acts of religious intolerance and discrimination," but now hastens to include among the victims of such acts "Muslim pilgrims and other religious communities" as well .

HOW TO SAVE EUROPE

THE CATHOLIC KNIGHTThe fact that Europe is careening toward cultural suicide is indisputable.  Muslims are already the fastest growing demographic group in Europe and in many European nations Muslims threaten to become the majority within a matter of decades.  The German government has already publicly admitted that Germany is well on it's way to becoming an Islamic republic.  While other European nations are not as openly honest about their future, some of them are actually heading toward that goal much faster than Germany.  Failure to correct this course now will only accelerate the demise of Europe as we know it.  It's not that I expect any of these suggestions to be implemented, but I thought it would be nice to spell out some simple solutions in one blog entry.  Now I understand this is not a comprehensive plan, and it omits many key issues that readers of this blog will naturally recognize as necessary to European recovery.  Indeed, my readers will recognize that some of these suggestions don't go nearly far enough.  I acknowledge that.  However, what I'm trying to do is outline a basic framework for the slow long-term and organic recovery of traditional European Christian identity.  If the following policies were implemented by the European Union, and European nations respectively, it would (over time) correct the entire course of Europe toward a much more Christian society that is more consistent with European history and culture....
