Bakit Iglesia Katolika ang Kinagisnang Tunay na Iglesia ni Cristo?

Bago natin talakayin ang walang katapusang kamangmangan ng mga bagong sulpot na relihiyon ukol sa kasaysayan ng tunay na Iglesia ni Cristo, iminumungkahi kong basahin muna ang artikulong "Pagmamali ng Iglesia Ni Cristo na Tatag ni Felix Manalo noong 1914 Tungkol sa Kasaysayan ng Kristianismo" upang mas maunawaan natin ang daloy ng ating pag-uusapan.

Ipinagtataka ng iba kung bakit Iglesia Katolika ang kinagisnan ng lalong maraming tao samantalang ang itinatag ni Cristo ay ang Iglesia ni Cristo. Ito ay bunga ng kawalan ng kabatiran sa tunay na kasaysayan ng Iglesiang itinatag ng ating Panginoong Jesuscristo noong unang siglo. Kapag ating nalalaman ang mga pangyayari sa kasaysayan ng Iglesia ni Cristo ay hindi na tayo magtataka kung bakit ang Iglesia Katolika ang kinagisnan ng marami samantanlang hindi ito ang Iglesia itinatag ng ating Panginoong Jesucristo. 

Paano ba nagsimula ang Iglesia ni Cristo noong unang siglo? Ano ang kalagayan nito noong una? 

Ang Iglesia ni Cristo ay nagsimula sa panahon ng Panginoong Jesucristo sa lupa bilang isang munting kawan. Tinawag Niya ito na muting kawan.

TANONG: Bakit Iglesia Katolika at hindi Iglesia ni Cristo ang kinagisnan relihiyon ng marami?

SAGOT: Ating sagutin ang kanilang tanong sa isa pang tanong. Ano nga ba ang nauna, Iglesia Katolika o Iglesia Ni Cristo® (INC)?

Ayon sa opisyal na magasin ng INC™, ang PASUGO, ang TUNAY  na Iglesiang kay Cristo ay iyong TATAG mismo ni Cristo noong UNANG SIGLO sa JERUSALEM.

“Ang tunay na INK ay iisa lamang. Ito ang Iglesiyang itinayo ni Cristo. Kung mayroon mang nagsisibangon ngayong mga Iglesia at sasabihing sila man ay Iglesia ni Cristo rin, ang mga ito ay hindi tunay na Iglesia ni Cristo kundi huwad lamang." -PASUGO Mayo 1968, p. 7

Pinatutunayan lamang ng kanilang magasing Pasugo na ang TUNAY na Iglesiang tatag ni Cristo ay ang Iglesiang NAROON na noon pang UNANG SIGLO. 

Ang tanong natin ay ganito:  

TANONG: KAILAN NAITATAG NI G. FELIX MANALO ANG 'IGLESIA NI CRISTO' SA PILIPINAS?

SAGOT: Ayon sa kanilang opisyal na magasing PASUGO Agosto-Setyembre 1964, p. 5, ay ganito: “Kailan napatala sa Pamahalaan o narehistro ang INK sa Pilipinas? Noong Hulyo 27, 1914. Tunay nga na sinasabi sa rehistro na si Kapatid na F. Manalo ang nagtatag ng INK."

Ito ay PINATUTUNAYAN ng kanilang SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION REGISTRATION.

"THAT THE APPLICANT IS THE FOUNDER AND PRESENT HEAD OF THE SOCIETY NAMED 'IGLESIA NI KRISTO'"

Wala na po tayong dapat pagtatalunan. MALINAW po na sinasabi ng kanilang Pasugo at Rehistro na ang NAGTATAG AT ULO (Founder and Head) ng Iglesia Ni Cristo® (INC) ay HINDI si Cristo kundi si G. FELIX Y. MANALO.

Tanong: Ang Iglesia bang TATAG ng Panginoong Jesukristo NOONG Unang Siglo ay TINAWAG at REHISTRADO sa pangalang "IGLESIA NI CRISTO"?

OO. Sapagkat walang ibang iglesia naitatag si Cristo noong Unang Siglo. Kaya't BY DEFAULT ang Iglesia ay KAY CRISTO!

HINDI. Sapagkat hindi pinag-utos ng Panginoong Jesus na ipangalan sa Kanya at iparehistro ang Kanyang Iglesia bilang "Iglesia Ni Cristo" na may daglat pang 'INC'. 

Tanong: Kung totoong pinag-utos ni Criso na ipangalan kay Cristo ang Kanyang tatag na Iglesia, bakit TAGALOG ang pagkakarehistro nito sa Pilipinas at sa ibayong dagat? 

Sagot: Sa dami ba naman ng UMAANGKIN ng pagka-Iglesia ni Cristo, hindi na po bago ang  pag-aangkin ng INC™. (Tingnan: 'Huwad na mga Iglesia ni Cristo'). Kaya't para walang KALITUHAN sa mga sulpot na "Iglesia ni Cristo" o "Church of Christ" ay very DISTINCT at madaling makilala ang TATAG ni G. FELIX MANALO sapagkat ito ay may OPISYAL na LOGO at OPISYAL na PANGALAN sa WIKANG TAGALOG "Iglesia Ni Cristo" AYON SA KANIYANG OPISYAL NA REHISTRO!

Kung may mga "Iglesia ni Cristo" man na susulpot ngunit HINDI kapareho ng LOGO sa itaas, ito ay HINDI kay G. Felix Y. Manalo kundi sa iba pang iglesiang TATAG rin ng tao!

Kasaysayan ang magpapatunay na ang IGLESIA kay Cristo ay IISA. Hindi sumulpot saan mang lupalop ng mundo. Si Cristo ang NAGTATAG! Ang Iglesia ay walang sangay, BUO at may PAGKAKAISA.

Kasaysayan pa rin ang nagsasabing ang TUNAY na Iglesia ni Cristo ay kilala rin sa pangalang IGLESIA NG DIYOS (Gawa 20:28) sapagkat si CRISTO ay TUNAY na DIYOS at TAONG totoo!

Kaya't HINDI po nakakapagtataka kung bakit ang IGLESIA KATOLIKA ang KINIKILALANG TUNAY na IGLESIA NI CRISTO sapagkat tanging ang Iglesia Katolika lamang ang Iglesiang NAGMULA pa sa panahon ng mga APOSTOL.

Madalas na ipinagmamalaki ng mga kaanib ng samahan ni Felix Manalo sa larangan ng palitan ng kuru-kuro sa social media, maging sa kanilang mga programa sa telebisyon o radiyo, maging sa kanilang limbag na Pasugo, na ang "Iglesia Ni Cristo®" o INC™ raw ay hango sa pag-aangkin mismo ni Cristo sa Mateo 16:18 ng "AKING" iglesia o "MY" church. Kaya't nararapat lamang daw itong tawaging "Iglesia Ni Cristo®" tulad ng paliwanag ng isang INC™ sa ibaba:

Wala tayong dapat na pagtatalo-talo rito sapagkat sa kasaysayan ng ating kaligtasan, may IISANG IGLESIANG kilala sa buong mundo bilang TATAG ni Cristo.

Ang pagpapakilala ni Cristo ng "AKING IGLESIA" sa Mateo 16:18 ay hindi po nangangailangan ng PAGPAPAREHISTRO sa anumang gobyerno noon o hanggang sa kasalukuyan sapagkat WALANG IBANG IGLESIANG KILALA na itinatag si CRISTO kundi ang IGLESIA KATOLIKA  (Gk: καθολική Εκκλησία) noon hanggang ngayon.

Ayon sa Wikipedia, ang Iglesia Katolika ay ang PINAKAMATANDA sa kasaysayan...

Paano tayo nakakasigurado na ang IGLESIA KATOLIKA nga ay siya pa ring TUNAY NA IGLESIANG tatag ni Cristo at magpahanggang ngayon sa kasalukuyan ay HINDI ito NATALIKOD tulad ng BINTANG ng mga Mormons (The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-day Saints) at ng mga kaanib sa Iglesia Ni Cristo® - 1914?

Sa pamamagitan ng mga turo nitong HINDI nagbabago sa libong taon na itinuro ng mga Apostol sa pangunguna ni Apostol SAN PEDRO na siyang UNANG PAPA ng Iglesia. Sa nakaraang mahigit-kumulang na 2,018 taon ng Kristianismo, si PAPA FRANCISCO ay ang ika-266 Papa ng Iglesia Katolika ~ ang tunay na Iglesiang tatag ni Cristo!

Wala na tayong pagtatalo-talo pa sapagkat ayon sa PAMANTAYAN ng mga kaanib sa INC™ na kapag SINABI ni Cristo na "AKING IGLESIA" o "MY CHURCH" para mapatunayang may Iglesia si Cristo mula pa noong una (at hindi ito matatalikod kailanman ayon sa Kanyang ipinangako "hindi mananaig ang impierno (Mt. 16:17)" ito rin ang gagamitin nating PAMANTAYAN sa Iglesia Ni Cristo®-1914.

Sa lathala ng The Free Press noong  Pebrero 1950, INANGKIN ni G. Felix Manalo ang INC™ o IGLESIA NI CRISTO® bilang "MY CHURCH" o "AKING IGLESIA". 

Samakatuwid, ang Iglesia Ni Cristo® ayon sa REHISTRO nito ay nilagdaan ni G. Felix Manalo bilang TAGAPAGTATAG gamit ang pangalang "Cristo" ngunit sa katunayan ay IGLESIA NI MANALO.

Fr. Abe's Answer: The horrors were done by abusive Spanish government official and some friars but to implicate Catholicism is too much stretch of imagination. Abusus non tollit usum. Abuses conducted by erring friars can’t be used to discredit the Church because these people committed abusive acts in disobedience to the Church’s teachings. You have not proven that the Church officially teaches its members to abuse people. For your argument to hold water, you have to show to us that abusing people is a doctrine in the Church which all Catholics are bound to do. Show me the exact provision in the Catechism of the Catholic Church which provides for this. Until you do that, all your talk is just garbage.

Don’t you know that it is actually the Church which fought for the rights of native Filipinos during that time, not atheist and not protestants? It is because of the Church that the Spanish Colonial Government freed slaves. (aliping sagigilid &aliping namamahay) The Church worked for the passage of humane laws protecting the rights of natives such as the Law of Burgos, Law of Valladolid, and Leyes Nuevas. Added to this is the decree of Pope Gregory XIV which threatens with excommunication those who refuse to free their slaves in the Philippines:

“In a decree dated 18 April 1591 (Bulla Cum Sicuti), Gregory XIV ordered reparations to be made by Catholics in the Philippines to the natives, who had been forced into slavery by Europeans, AND HE COMMANDED UNDER PAIN OF EXCOMMUNICATION OF THE OWNERS THAT ALL NATIVE SLAVES IN THE ISLANDS BE SET FREE.” Continue reading here....
