Bakit Kailangan Ang Tunay na Iglesia at Hindi ang Huwad na Iglesiang Tatag ni Felix Manalo sa Pilipinas?

Narito na naman ang isang video ng Iglesia Ni Cristo® 1914 na pinamagatang "Bakit Kailangan Ang Tunay na Iglesia?" 

Mahaba ang nasabing episode ngunit ating tatalakayin lamang nating ang mga unang ilang minuto ng kanilang episode. Ipapaliwanag natin kung bakit KAILANGAN natin unawain ang kahalagahan ng PAG-ANIB sa TUNAY na Iglesiang TATAG MISMO ng ating PANGINOONG HESUS at HINDI ang HUWAD na iglesiang TATAG ni taong katulad ni GINOONG FELIX Y. MANALO sa PILIPINAS noong 1914

 

HUWAD NA IGLESIA

Sa pambungad na salaysay ni Ginoong Leonardo Pidlaoan Jr., [1:30] sinasabi niyang may ilan daw na umanib na sa Iglesiang tatag ni Ginoong Felix Y. Manalo, ang INC™, at naging "ganap" na raw ang kanilang pananampalataya matapos raw na "marinig ang mga aral ng ating Panginoong Diyos" sa pamamagitan ng kanilang mga bayarang ministro.

Linawin lamang po natin. HINDI PO ARAL ng ating PANGINOONG DIYOS ang ipinangangaral ng kanilang mga bayarang ministro kundi ARAL po ito ni Ginoong FELIX Y. MANALO ayon na rin sa PAG-AMIN ng kanilang magasing PASUGO.  

PASUGO Agosto-Setyembre 1964, p. 5 “Kailan napatala sa Pamahalaan o narehistro ang INK sa Pilipinas? Noong Hulyo 27, 1914. Tunay nga na sinasabi sa rehistro na si Kapatid na F. Manalo ang nagtatag ng INK."

PASUGO May 1961, p.4: “At sino nga ba ang gumagawa ng mga leksiyong itinuturo ng mga ministro, maging sa mga pagsamba, mga doktrina o mga Propaganda? Ang Kapatid na Felix Manalo.”

PASUGO Mayo 1963, p. 27: “Kaya’t sa katuparan ng hula, ang lahat ng mga itinuturo ng mga Ministro ng INK sa mga pagsamba, sa mga doktrina, sa mga pamamahayag sa gitna ng bayan, ay si Kapatid na Felix Manalo lamang ang bumabalangkas at nagtuturo sa kanila.”

Malinaw po ang kanilang mga pahayag., na ang INC™ ay si kapatid na Felix Manalo ang NAGTATAG. 

Walang aral na galing sa Diyos na masusumpungan sa kanilang mga doktrina sapagkat ang mga ITINUTURO nilang LAHAT ay BINALANGKAS mula sa mga KATHA at sa SARILING UNAWA ni Ginong Felix Y. Manalo na siyang NAGTATAG at NAGREHISTRO ng "Iglesia Ni Cristo®" sa Pilipinas!

At dahil SIYA ANG NAGTATAG ng INC™, SIYA rin ang GUMAGAWA ng mga leksiyonng ITINUTURO ng mga ministro. 

Si G. FELIX Y. MANALO rin ang gumawa ng leksiyon sa PAGSAMBA. 

Si G. FELIX Y. MANALO rin ang GUMAWA ng kanilang DOKTRINA o PROPAGANDA. TANGING si FELIX MANALO lamang LAHAT ang gumawa!

Ang PAGSULPOT ng INC™ sa Pilipinas noong 1914 ay isang "katuparan" daw ng "hula". SANG-AYON po tayo diyan. Ang pagsulpot ng huwad na iglesia (raw) ni Cristo sa Pilipinas ay katuparan ng mga hula sa Biblia.

Bago pa man SUMULPOT ang Iglesia Protestante noong noong 1517, at ng Iglesia Ni Cristo® noong 1914, PINAUNA na ng Biblia ang pagbibigay ng BABALA na darating ang mga BULAANG MANGANGARAL!

Ang sabi ng ating Panginong Hesus ng ganito: 

"Mag-ingat sana kayo at huwag padaya kanino man. Sapagkat marami ang magsisiparito sa aking pangalan... At  marami ang madadaya... Lilitaw ang maraming huwad na propeta upang iligaw ang mga tao... lilitaw ang mga huwad na Cristo at mga huwad na propeta na magpapakita ng malalaking tanda at mga kababalaghan, upang iligaw, kung maaari lamang, kahit na ang mga hinirang." -Mateo 24:3-12;24

PANAHON pa ng Panginoong Hesus at mga alagad NAPAKALINAW na ng BABALA! Darating ang mga HUWAD na mangangaral at gagamitin ang pangalan ng ating Panginoong HesuKristo para makapanlinlang! Sounds familiar!

Kailan pa itong babalang ito? Mahigit 1,432 TAON bago pa sumulpot ang Protestantismo noong 1517!  Mahigit 1,829 TAON bago pa itatag ni G. Felix Manalo ang kanyang INC™ noong 1914!

At nakakapangilabot na SILA pa ang may lakas-loob na gamitin ang mga talata ng Biblia ukol sa pagdating mga mga bulaang propeta samantalang SILA ang katuparan ng mga hulang ito?

Si APOSTOL SAN PABLO, hindi rin nagpahuli sa PAGBIBIGAY ng kaparehong BABALA. Aniya:

"Sapagkat darating ang panahon na hindi na maaatim ng mga tao ang mabuting aral; sa halip, dala ng kanilang mga pithaya at sa pangangati ng kanilang mga tainga ay magbubunton sa kanilang sarili ng mga guro at itatalikod ang tainga sa katotohanan at ibabaling naman sa mga alamat." -II Timoteo 4:3-4

Hindi nga ba't ALAMAT lamang ang PAG-AANGKIN ni G. Felix Y. Manalo SIYA AY ANGHEL na hinulaan daw sa Biblia? 

Hindi ba't ALAMAT din ang PAG-AANGKIN nila na ang pagsulpot raw ng INC™ sa Pilipinas noong 1914 ay nahulaan din daw sa Biblia? 

At ang mga alamat na ito ay siyang kanilang saligan ng mga doktrina at turo nilang galing raw sa Diyos? 

Samantalang malinaw nilang INAMIN na si Felix Y. Manalo ang BUMALANGKAS at GUMAWA ng lahat ng TURO, LEKSIYON at DOKTRINA na kanilang ITINUTURO, PINANGANGARAL, PINAPANIWALAAN at SINASAMPALATAYANAN?!

Mas MATANDA pa ang BABALANG ITO kaysa sa PAGKAKATATAG ng INC™. Ang INC™ ay 106 taon pa lamang umiiral. Samantalang ang babalang ito ay mahigit 1,377 - 1,824 taon na!

Ngunit may PAKUNSWELO ang ating Panginoong Hesus sa ATING mga tunay na KAANIB sa TUNAY na Iglesia! Mataimtim niyang IPINANGAKO sa ATING mga HINIRANG na SIYA (SI CRISTO) ay SUMASAATIN sa LAHAT ng ARAW HANGGANG sa WAKAS ng PANAHON! (Mateo 28:20).

Kung SUMASAATIN ang ating Panginoong sa LAHAT NG ARAW, ibig lamang sabihin nito na HINDI NIYA INIWAN ang KANYANG IGLESIA. 

TALIWAS sa aral ng INC™ na NATALIKOD na raw na GANAP ang UNANG IGLESIANG TATAG ni Cristo, NANGAKO ang Panginong Hesus na HINDI AALIS, HINDI LILISAN at HINDI TATALIKOD sa KANYANG IGLESIA, kaya't MAKASISIGURADO tayong kailanman HINDI MATATALIKOD ang Kaniyang tatag na Iglesia (Mateo 16:18) 

At dahil diyan LALONG NALANTAD ang KASINUNGALINGAN ng mga ARAL at TURO ni G. Felix Y. Manalo ukol sa "TOTAL APOSTACY" o TULUYANG PAGTALIKOD daw ng SINAUNANG IGLESIA NI CRISTO ~ ang IGLESIA KATOLIKA!

At ang pangako niyang HINDI TATALIKOD ay MATUTUPAD, GANAP at HINDI MABABALI: "Lilipas ang langit at lupa ngunit di lilipas ang aking mga salita!" (Mateo 24:35) 

Kung MAY TUMALIKOD sa Unang Iglesia, HINDI si Cristo KUNDI si Felix Y. Manalo! Kung may NAGTAKWIL sa Unang Iglesia, hindi si Cristo kundi si G. Felix Y. Manalo!

At sa Kanyang pagparitong muli, ang mga TAPAT at HINDI TUMALIKOD sa TUNAY na IGLESIA, at HINDI NAGPADAYA sa mga BULAANG PROPETA ay MALILIGTAS: 

"Ang manatiling tapat hanggang sa wakas ay maliligtas!" -Mateo 24:13

FELIX Y. MANALO ULO AT TAGAPAGTATAG NG ng IGLESIA NI CRISTO® 1914

Ito ang KATOTOHANANG SINASALIGAN ng mga MAMAMAHAYAG na sinusulat nila sa mga pahayagan mula sa mga aklat-kasaysayan at mga encyclopedia: na ang Iglesia Ni Cristo na tatag sa Pilipinas ay opisyal na ITINATAG ni G. Felix Y. Manalo noong Hulyo 27, 1914. 

Sa tuwing sumasapit ang Hulyo 27 bawat taon, binabanggit ng mga mamamahayag na ang  Iglesia Ni Cristo® na sumulpot sa Pilipinas ay si FELIX MANALO ang NAGTATAG at ULO nito! !

At kung may umanib man sa iglesiang TATAG ni G. F. Manalo, ito ay HINDI KAGANAPAN ng pananampalataya kundi ito ay KATITISURAN sapagkat WALANG ARAL ang BIBLIA para UMANIB sa isang HUWAD na iglesia, lalo na't ito ay malinaw na ITINATAG ng isang TAONG si G. FELIX MANALO. 

Ayon pa kay Ginoong Padlaoan Jr., [1:49] kung malalaman daw lamang ng mga inanyayahan kung GAANO KAHALAGA ang TUNAY na IGLESIA, "AYON SA BIBLIA", tiyak raw niyang marami ang hindi tatanggi.

Wala po tayong pagtatanggi sa KAHALAGAHAN ng TUNAY NA IGLESIA sapagkat ito isang bagay na LIKAS sa tao, ang UMANIB SA TUNAY at ITAKWIL ang HUWAD. 

Kung may PAGTATANGGI man sa pag-aanyaya ng mga mangangaral ng INC™ 1914 ay sapagkat ALAM ng TAO, AYON SA KASAYSAYAN na ang Iglesia Ni Cristo® ay HUWAD at ito'y NAGPAPANGGAP LAMANG na tatag ni Cristo, ngunit sa KATOTOHANAN ay SALAT!

PASUGO Mayo 1968, p. 7:

“Ang tunay na INK ay iisa lamang. Ito ang Iglesiyang itinayo ni Cristo. Kung mayroon mang nagsisibangon ngayong mga Iglesia at sasabihing sila man ay Iglesia ni Cristo rin, ang mga ito ay hindi tunay na Iglesia ni Cristo kundi huwad lamang."

Ang TUNAY na Iglesia ni Cristo, AYON SA BIBLIA at KASAYSAYAN ay IISA. Kung anong ITINATAG noong Iglesia ay SIYA PA RING IGLESIA NGAYON. Ang Iglesiang itinatag noon at Iglesia pa rin hanggang sa kasalukuyan ay walang iba kundi ang IGLESIA KATOLIKA!

At paano ba sasang-ayunan ng Biblia ang PAG-AANGKIN ng Iglesia Ni Cristo® 1914 na ARAL MULA SA BIBLIA ang itinuturo nila samantlaang NAKADEPENDE sila sa BIBLIA na NANGGALING sa IGLESIA KATOLIKA?!

Sa kasaysayan ng PAGKAKATATAG ng Iglesia Ni Cristo® 1914, namatay si Ginoong Felix Y. Manalo na WALANG PALATANDAAN ng KABANALAN. Bagkos SIYA ay NAMATAY na NALAMATAN at NADUNGAISAN ang REPUTASYON dahil sa AKUSASYON ni ROSITA TRILLANES na siya raw di umanoy ay PINAGSAMANTALAHAN ni G. FELIX Y. MANALO.

Ganoon din ang PAGLALAHAD ng isang nagngangalang LESLI WOLFE ukol sa PAGKATAO ni G. Felix Y. Manalo bilang isang mangangaral noon sa nasabing kinaaniban niyang iglesia.

Kaya't sa naisin pa nating ipagpatuloy ang pakikinig sa kanilang episode, SAPAT SAPAT na sa ating malaman na sa pasimula pa lamang ng kanilang episode ay punung-puno na ito ng panlilinlang at pandaraya, bagay na hindi akma sa isang institusyon na nagpapakilalang "kay Cristo". 

Ang isang bagay na TUNAY NA SA DIYOS ay HINDI NANLILINLANG at HINDI NANDARAYA ng kapwa-tao. Hindi BABALUKTUTIN ang mga TALATA ng Biblia para sumakto sa kanilang mga baluktot na aral; at hindi aangkinin ang bagay na tanging sa Diyos at sa ating Panginoong Hesus lamang. At bilang pangwakas, ating pakinggan ang mga pahayag ng isang Muslim Imam ukol sa turo ng Iglesia Ni Cristo® 1914 laban sa Iglesia Katolika.

BIOGRAPHY OF FELIX Y. MANALO

Birth

Felix Ysagun ý Manalo was born in Barrio Tipas, Taguig, Rizal province in Luzon, Philippine islands on 10th May 1886. He was born in Sitio Calzada, a hamlet some 15 kilometres southeast of Manila and along the shores of Laguna de Bay. His name Felix (which means “happy”) was chosen from the roster of saints from that month[1]. He is the first of the two children of Mariano Ysagun and Bonifacia Manalo of Pampanga, who both belong to the Roman Catholic Church. His father was a farmworker and fisherman while his mother, Aling Pacia, was a housewife and a known manang or faithful lay member, a devotee of the patron saint, San Antonio.

Childhood

In 1893, when we has seven years old, he was made to attend public school in Santa Ana, Taguig. He had an old teacher by the name Macario Ocampo, called Maestro Cario. He was taught basic literacy and fundamentals of the Catholic faith in a caton class (cathecism class). He worked as a fisherman with his father in Laguna de Bay. He also worked as a herd boy of carabaos (water buffalos) with his cousin, Modesto Ysagun. They trapped field mice whose meat was good for nourishment. He beat many other boys in a contest to determine who could stay the longest standing barefooted atop an anthill crawling with maddened red ants. Another time he prevailed in a whiplash fight that lasted for hours and made him ill for a week[2].

In 1896, during the Philippine Revolution against Spain, his father died, leaving him and his younger sister, Praxedes in the care of their mother. It is unknown if his father was one of the Katipuneros of Taguig, the secret meeting place of the Katipunan. His primary education was disrupted at this time.

In 1898, General Emilio Aguinaldo proclaimed the independence of the Philippines from Spanish colonial rule. Sometime after this, the 12-year-old Felix and his cousin Modesto left for Manila. There he learned photography from his cousin, Serapio Ysagun, and afterwards became an apprentice to the photography studio of his uncle, Manuel Manalo[3]. He also learned other crafts like goldsmithing, barbering and weaving buri hats. In 1899, his mother married a widower, Clemente Mozo. She bore him five children but only two survived: Fausta and Baldomero. Mozo died two months before Baldomero’s birth. This forced Bonifacia to find work in a small sawali (woven bamboo strips) factory.

The American occupation brought Protestantism in the islands. On 2 March 1899, during the Philippine-American War, Bishop James M. Thoburn of Methodist Episcopal Church delivered the first Protestant sermon in the Philippine islands. Seven months after this, on 6 September 1899, G.C.B. Randall, a religious man, distributed the first batch of Bibles in Manila. In the previous years, the Spanish friars forbid the reading of the Bible by lay people[4].

As a Roman Catholic

In 1899, Felix and his cousin was adopted by their uncle Mariano Borja, a Catholic priest, in an urban parish house in Sampaloc, Manila. A lover of fighting cocks, the priest not only fed and gave them quarters but told them tales of great men which doubtless inspired the two young boys to weave dreams. They helped in lighting the candles among other things. It was in that parish where Felix found a Bible left on a church bench, which he began to read[5]. He was severely rebuked for privately studying the Bible[6] [Reading the Bible is fine. But understanding it and interpreting it privately is dangerous to the soul at we now see in the emergence of the INC™]. Since he was living inside the parish, he attended its seminary[7]. He was then able to compare the teachings and practices of the Catholic church with the teachings in the Bible [The teaching of the Catholic Church and the Bible aren't different. The writer is obviously a Protestant and he may had disregarded the Catholic Church's official source of teaching: SCRIPTURE and TRADITION]. He realised that basic Catholic doctrines such as baptism through infusion, worshipping graven images and making long prayers [Catholics do not worship objects. They revere or venerate images but NOT objects. The Catechism of the Catholic Church is consistent- only God is to be worshiped-- the One God in Three Divine Persons] contradicts the Bible. Doubts rise in his mind and he began to reject the old ritualistic Catholic practices. (In spite of this, he did not join the Philippine Independent Church, also known as Aglipayan Church[8]. He learned that its doctrines were not essentially different from those of its mother church, the Roman Catholic Church). Thus, he decided to leave the Catholic Church, hence leaving also his uncle’s house and his studies in Manila. In December 1902, he went back to Tipas to help his mother twiced widowed and seven months pregnant. There in Tipas, when his relatives and townmates learned that he left his uncle’s house and stopped his studies in Manila, they rebuked his decision. When they learned that he also decided to leave the Catholic religion, they persecuted him and made lies against him, hoping through these he will change his decision. But, the sixteen year old Felix stand firm on his decision never to come back to the Catholic religion because their practices and teachings contradict the teachings written in the Bible.

Dilemma of a member of the Iglesia Ni Cristo® (INC™) who wants to leave, what will you advise him if you receive such a letter?

Dear Dr Holmes and Mr Baer:

I have been a member of the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) ever since I was born, as my family, all my relatives from the mother's side up to my grandparents, are all INC. My mother, father, brothers and sisters all hold church duties so it can be said that our family members were devout in faith. It was all okay for me until a few years ago.

The new church administration always plays the scare game: If you don't obey, you will be excommunicated and will face the lake of fire at judgement day.

First, it seems that this leads to some ministers asking more than what someone can wholeheartedly give by scaring them when it comes to their faith.

Next is the way the sermons are being constructed, as to denote that if you face difficulties in your life, you must just bear with it or ignore it for your faith.

Nowadays (just this 2015), it is made worse by pointing out in sermons that the reason you are still poor, still suffering is because you do not obey the teachings of the Church.

And in just the last sermon before this writing, the topic was about ignoring everything unrelated to church activities because God will still help. It stressed that things are better now compared to Noah's time – he didn’t complain, so neither must you.

There has been a drastic change since the past executive minister and I want to break from this as soon as I can.

I am still able to tolerate the teachings when I go to church but I fear there will be a time when I will be brainwashed by this mentality and be metaphorically turned into "zombies" of the faith. Also, some excommunicated church members are announced in the worship service in the week they are excommunicated, and we are told "not to even talk to them.”

And so my dilemma goes... I need advice about leaving this church even if the repercussions would be to be ultimately shunned by my whole clan, all my INC friends and worse, to be kicked out of the house and to be forced to live alone. I am sorry for the long letter. I wish for anonymity for the situation I am in… hope you understand

Why All the Iglesia ni Cristo® claims and what they know about the Catholic Church are deep in error!

When I went back to Catholicism after years of listening (INC was one of them) and going to other denominations Jesus gave me a special message during one of my deep meditations (in original tagalog) which I would like to share with everyone.

“Anak, huwag kang lumingon sa paligid, sa akin ka lang tumingin, makakaraos ka rin sa taglay mong hirap at liwanag ko anak sa iyo’y darating. Ang bigay ko sa iyo ay pagibig, sana anak sa puso mo ay itanim, pagingatang lubos ang bigay kong punla upang anak sa puso mo ito’y lumago. Tunay na tunay kitang mahal, o anak tanggapin iyong mga pasanin, manatiling tapat sa iyong mga hanggarin dahil anak sa itaas doon kita dadalhin, upang anak ang langit ay iyong marating.”

Right after receiving the message.. I grabbed a pen and paper and wrote them without thinking nor trying to remember how He said it…it flowed effortlessly and done in just few seconds without stopping even half a second. I share this message to anyone who is ready to receive this. I did not dare to translate into English for fear that I may translate it wrongly.

THE PROBLEM WITH INC is that they use their mind to rationalize every word they read in the bible instead of using their hearts and try to meditate the real spiritual meaning of the scriptures they read. If only they search and read the Bible in all entirety, their is a good chance they will be able to connect with verses that are related in meaning. The danger is when you translate the Bible into the Filipino Language there is always a chance that translations will be accorded to the capacity of whoever is doing the translation of the Holy Scriptures. The most complete and perhaps void of errors is the Catholic Bible as the scriptures written where taken from the original books carefully studied and transcribed by many holy persons (not by few) not in months or years but centuries to make sure there were no errors during transcription. The Catholic Bible is the result of many minds (holy and mystics) who gathered together to put together all books done in centuries not days or months and transcribed them into one Bible for all Christians and Gentiles. When the protestant wants to translate the bible according to their needs that was the beginning of the advent of many religions to come and they come and go. Most non-Catholic bible were the translations of only few people and done in shorter times. Felix Manalo did his own thorough studies and comparison of different bibles in 3 days only though may have developed the rest of INC’s bible as the sect grew and progress of the years. Catholic Bible has been reviewed and re-reviewed by many theologians and bible scholars for one purpose only to ensure that there are no errors, additions and omissions. In other non-catholic bible there are additions and omissions of books and scriptures. This is what the Book of Revelation has been warning everyone not the mere addition or omission of some words or verses as other verses can cover them but they are the omission of books. Like Islam, they have omitted several books and added some to the original books of scriptures from the Genesis thru Revelation. When I read King James Bible several times, I decided to just keep and use the complete original and error free Catholic Bible that was originally translated into English not in Tagalog as I am having an issue on they way the were translated which not all can fully grasp (too wordy).

The IGLESIA NI CRISTO beliefs

Below is an unofficial summary of the belief of the Iglesia ni Cristo - church founded by Felix Manalo in the Philippines, registered in July 27, 1914.  Their official teachings are carefully kept in secrecy at their Central Office in Manila, we can only base our understanding of their argument operating on these beliefs. Note: Felix Manalo was never baptized in the Iglesia which for them makes him equal with John the Baptist.  Notice the "Father, Son and Holy Spirit" but not the Trinity; their teachings on "Christian Unity" is not on Ecumenism but unity within themselves as members of the Iglesia ni Cristo.  They remain deeply unbending, rigid, anti-Catholic in all their teachings. They do not have official representative on Christian Ecumenism. They detest every church that teaches Christ as God and hated the Doctrine of the Trinity.

What’s the difference?

Is the usual remark we hear from some people when the Iglesia Ni Cristo is introduced to them. It is a perfectly sound and legitimate question to ask considering that there are so many religions today vying against each other, and making claims and counterclaims that theirs is the best church to affiliate one’s self with.

Many people had joined one religion after another without having noticed any substantial difference among those religions. Some of them even felt they had been tricked; others downright deceived. From such sad experiences some of them make a sweeping conclusion that all religions are the same. And depending on the degree of their disillusionment they become indifferent to religion, or overly cautious or altogether shy away from any religion. Some of them even become anti- religion. But that should not be the case.

While there are so many false religions in the world today, this fact alone does not warrant the conclusion that all religions are false. There is a true religion, one which worships and serves the true God based on His true words written in the Bible. Everyone owes it to God and to himself to find this true religion. And one may start searching by asking how one religion differs from the other.

Iglesia ni Cristo (1914): 98 Years of Unbiblical Pagan Celebration

Since July 27 is NOT found in the Bible (like they use to demonize December 25 as Christ's birth commemoration), does it mean the Iglesia in Cristo 1914 (INC of Manalo) celebration is all PAGAN too?

The INC Church of Manalo has celebrated its 98th Year FOUNDING anniversary last Friday when Felix Manalo, it's founder registered HIS CHURCH in 1914.

The same OUTCOME research of Mr. Damon L. Woods, a visiting professor at UCLA who earned PhD in Southeast Asian History said in his book The Philippines: A Global Studies Handbook, p. 125-127, (emphasis mine):

One of the new religious groups, started by a Filipino who broke away from American missionary authority, was the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC), the Church of Christ. It remains a dominant institution in the Philippines today, its churches and chapels with their easily recognizable architecture scattered throughout the archipelago. It was founded by Felix Manalo, who after being raised in a devout Roman Catholic home and having some contact with millenarian groups at Mount Banahaw, declared himself to be a Protestant at the age of sixteen. He first joined the Methodist Episcopal Church in 1904 and then the Presbyterian Church the following year, attending classes for a short time at the Ellinwood Bible School. IN 1908, he joined the Disciples of Christ and served as an evangelist for a year before leaving, having been accused of domestic violence. IN 1912, he joined the Sevent Day Adventists, but was supended a year later for alledged adultery. Manalo decided to start his own church and on July 27, 1914, he incorporated Iglesia ni Cristo. Beginning in Manila, the movement spread out into the provinces. By the beginning of World War II, there were churches of this new group in almost every province on Luzon and in the eastern part of the Visayas.

The doctrines of the church begin with the belief that Felix Manalo was the fulfillment of Revelation 7:1-3, which speaks of the angel from the east. Because Manalo had visited the United States in 1919 and then returned from the east to the Philippines, he proclaimed in 1921 that he was that angel. In addition, the church founded in Jerusalem by Jesus of Nazareth became apostate and did not exist from 70 CE to 1914, but was reborn with the appearance of the angel from the east. In contrast to its Protestant roots, the movement is not Trinitarian and holds the Jesus was not divine.

The movement’s phenomenal growth has been tied to various factors, beginning with the charismatic leadership of its founder, who dominated the church for forty-nine years. Not only an eloquent speaker, he was a master organizer who had absolute control. Only Manalo had authority to interpret the Bible, and he prepared the sermon outlines for his ministers. The indigenous nature of the church also made it popular.

Founded by a Filipino for Filipinos, Filipinos alone have been responsible for its activities, including the construction of its many buildings. The use of Tagalog and other local dialects, rather than English, in the services, hymns, prayers, and sermons is also important. The INC has has provided a sense of community for many. Congregations are close-knit, self-contained, and separatist in nature. Members help each other find work, and the church makes loans to those starting businesses. Members are well-trained in the tenets of their faith and, in contrast to other Filipinos, are able to defend their doctrines by quoting the Bible verses. On the other hand, the fear of excommunication keeps members from straying. One can be cast out of the church for excessive drinking or gambling, disagreement with the policies of the church, apostasy, marriage to someone outside the church, and adultery.

In brief:

• When Felix Manalo was 16, he had associated himself with cults in Mt. Banahaw and declared himself a Protestant at a young age.

• In 1904 he joined the Methodist Episcopal Church.

• In 1907 he joined the Presbyterian Church.

• In 1908 he joined the the Disciples of Christ where he was accused of domestic violence (see below), and so he left.

• In 1910 he joined the Christian Mission where he was particularly attracted to Baptism by immersion. He married Tomasa Sereneo of Paco.

• In 1911 he joined the Seventh Day Adventists founded by Helen G. White which influenced his theology much. The same year he married Honorata de Guzman of Sta. Cruz. According to Mr. Damon he was suspended by the Adventist Church for alledged adultery

• From 1912 he was an atheist and agnostic, an unbeliever in God or a supreme being.

• In 1913 he began studying all religious articles he took from former churches he belonged.

• In 1914 he founded a church and registered his it the Iglesia ni Kristo

• In 1921 sensing a threat of schism within his church through a scandal of immorality by Felix Manalo, he declared himself "Angel from the East" or "Huling Sugo".

• In 1922 his fear of schism happened. He was accused of immorality published in newspapers, that resulted in a schism led by Teofilo Ora where Eliseo Soriano, founder of Ang Dating Daan was once a member.

• In 1963, April 12, 2:35 A.M. he died, his stomach burst like Judas Iscariot's death.

Among the teachings of other protestant churches that Felix Manalo COPIED in his INC Church are the following:

1. Denial of the Blessed Trinity heavily influenced by Anabaptists and Restorationists
2. Denial of the Divinity of Christ
3. Oneness (God the Father)
4. Pope as the Anti-Christ witten in Revelations
5. Catholics are damned to eternal damnation
6. State of Dead people "dead know nothing" (Ecclesiastes 9:5), therefor reject the Doctrine of Purgatory 
7. Baptism by Immersion

According to Manalo, since 70 AD to 1914 AD Christ was a FAILURE saving NO-ONE except when in 1914 when Felix Manalo "re-establish" what JESUS' FAILED to do.  Obviously FYM DECEIVED million Filipinos of which we- members of the CHURCH OF CHRIST founded by JESUS has the mandate and responsibility to SAVE them from Felix LIES.  While they are counting their FOUNDATION ANNIVERSARY, let's recommend them to our prayers that one day they will see the TRUE LIGHT coming from the TRUE JESUS who founded the TRUE CHURCH-- the ONE, HOLY, CATHOLIC, APOSTOLIC CHURCH of CHRIST!

The Bible : The words of God are written only in the Bible. The Bible should be the only basis of service to God. This is the truth which will teach man salvation from punishment on Judgment Day. Thus, each member of the Iglesia Ni Cristo should give value to the teachings of God written in the Bible by fulfilling them in his life.	The Bible Alone: Originally taught by Martin Luther, John Calvin and other Protestant Reformers. It is called Sola Scriptura however this teaching is not found in the Bible yet Luther et al kept that belief in Jesus Divinity. The INC is not! Although the look at the Bible as their sole authority but the same Bible DIVIDED them, cannot agree on one thing. The Catholic Church remained One- in-tact!
The true God : The Father Who created all things is the only true God. There are no three persons in one God; thus, reject the belief in the Trinity.	Christians believed there is ONE true GOD in Three Divine Persons or the Trinity.  Islam taught Tauheed (Oneness of God) which Mohammad founded in 622 AD and directly denies any divinity of Christ.  INC beliefs stemmed from Arius (ca. AD 250–336 AD). But modern adherents directly rejecting the doctrine of the Trinity came from Calvinism, Anabaptism, Adventism, Wesleyanism, Lutheranism, etc. and it's called Unitarianism.INC is never unique in this claim.
The true religion : The belief that all churches belong to God is false. Christ founded only one true Church - the Church of Christ (Iglesia ni Cristo). Therefore, we value the Church because herein are we able to do the kind of service acceptable to God and through which we shall be saved.	INC Manalo is not unique in this claim.  All religions and newly founded churches in fact claimed to be the "true religions" however only one Church consistently claims historicity of its origins- the One, Holy, Catholic, Apostolic Church. Muslims also believe Islam is the only "true religion". However history proves that Islam was founded by its prophet Mohammad between 622 AD until his death on June 8, 632 AD. Iglesia ni Cristo was recently founded in July 27-, 1914 AD. It's forthcoming Centennial confirms that fact. Not even the doctrine of "Total Apostacy" to accommodate their "Last Messenger" doctrine was originally. Mormonism founded by Joseph Smith was the first to claim that "heavenly calling" of prophethood. But Islam's prophet claimed to be the "Last Prophet (Messenger)" known by a billion people.

Examine the Verse Philippians 2:9-11 This verse is claimed to provide the basis of the Iglesia ni Cristo belief that Jesus is not an ordinary man but a very special Man, who was sanctified; made Lord, Christ, Savior, Mediator and Judge by God. Because of that obedience, God lifted him high and honored him far beyond anyone or anything, ever, so that all created beings in heaven and on earth—even those long ago dead and buried—will bow in worship before this Jesus Christ, and call out in praise that he is the Master of all, to the glorious honor of God the Father. (Philippians 2:9-11, The Message)  Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, 10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, 11 and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2:9-11, New King James Version)  Iglesia ni Cristo belief in God and Jesus Christ: Iglesia ni Cristo believes in the absolute oneness of God, that "the Only True God is the Father" in heaven; The Father is the Lord God Almighty, the Creator of all things. God is Spirit, eternal, immortal and invisible; He is the God and Father of Jesus Christ and His Apostles; and that of Moses, Abraham and the ancient Israelites. Iglesia ni Cristo believes that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God. As the Son of God, Jesus is a Man. However, Jesus is not an ordinary man but a "very special Man", who was sanctified; made Lord, Christ, Savior, Mediator and Judge by God.  Apostle's admonition, warning and unique way of teaching: 1. No prophecy of scripture is a matter of personal interpretation (2 Pt. 1:20, NAB) 2. Do not go beyond what is written. (1 Cor. 4:6, NIV) 3. We do not use words of human wisdom. We speak words given to us by the Spirit, using the Spirit's words to explain spiritual truths. (1 Cor. 2:13, NLT) Points to Consider: 1. Please notice the reason why Jesus was highly exalted, in the preceding verse 8, this is written: "And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross" (NKJV). Thus, Jesus is a man who was obedient to God, even up to death. 2. Notice what the above verse clearly says, "Because of that obedience, God lifted him high and honored him or highly exalted Him.... so all created beings.... will bow and worship Him". Thus, it was God the Father who ordered Jesus to be worshipped, not because Jesus is God but only for God's glorious honor. The fact that God exalted Him and ordered Him to be worshipped is proof that Jesus is not God Himself but a very special Man. 3. For more information:

You were FALSELY tricked by these Deceivers of Faith!

As you can see, the Iglesia ni Cristo cult CAREFULLY CHOSE this particular VERSE in PHILIPPIANS 2 and IGNORED verses 1-8  and highlighted only verse is 9-11

Phil. 2:1-11:

If there is any encouragement in Christ, any solace in love, any participation in the Spirit, any compassion and mercy, 2complete my joy by being of the same mind, with the same love, united in heart, thinking one thing.a 3Do nothing out of selfishness or out of vainglory; rather, humbly regard others as more important than yourselves,b 4each looking out not for his own interests, but [also] everyone for those of others.c

5Have among yourselves the same attitude that is also yours in Christ Jesus,*

6Who,* though he was in the form of God,

did not regard equality with God something to be grasped.*

7Rather, he emptied himself,

taking the form of a slave,

coming in human likeness;*

and found human in appearance,e

becoming obedient to death, even death on a cross.*

9Because of this, God greatly exalted him

and bestowed on him the name*

that is above every name,g

10that at the name of Jesus

every knee should bend,*

As they have HIGHLIGHTED the word "MAN", they COMPLETELY and DELIBERATELY ignored VERSE 6 which also claims Jesus is in the form of GOD! "

... though he (JESUS CHRIST) was in the form of God"

Read the verse again! It says, JESUS was IN THE FORM OF GOD!!!!!

In Verse 7, the Bible says Jesus is GOD coming in HUMAN LIKENESS and we found this GOD in HUMAN appearance!!!!!!

"...coming in human likeness; and found human in appearance."

The Bible says nothing about Jesus being man ONLY as the Iglesia ni Cristo wants his followers to believe!

It says, Jesus is in the FORM of GOD, something we should all GRASP (understand or comprehend).  He is GOD who came in HUMAN LIKENESS and he was FOUND HUMAN IN APPEARANCE.

Now, have you found any wordings there saying JESUS is a MAN ONLY? !!!

If you believed in INC twisted theology, YOU WERE DECEIVED!

Again as you can see:

"... that at the name of Jesus (a MAN only according to INC) every knee should bend, of those in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord..."

Yes!  At the NAME of JESUS, every knee shall bend, every tongue confess...

But this SAME WORDINGS was CLAIMED by GOD the Father in Isaiah 45:23

God the FATHER SAID:

"...To me (GOD) every knee shall bend; by me every tongue shall swear..."

So if we believe in the "Two Lords" theology of the INC of Manalo, we may end up with rivalry between the MAN-Jesus and God the Father!

Going back to Philippians 2, the same chapter says JESUS is in the FORM of GOD, which we SHOULD ALL UNDERSTAND!

I will repeat, we need to "ALL UNDERSTAND" or COMPREHEND or GRASP.

Obviously THEY FAILED to understand, comprehend or grasp that TRUTH.

Yes! The CHURCH teaches that JESUS is a TRUE MAN. Their claim is perfectly in congruence with the teachings of the Catholic Church.

But nowhere in the chapter says "HE IS NOT GOD"!

Yes, HE IS IN THE FORM OF GOD -- yet man in our own appearance!

His DEATH was not due to any reason by the JEWS understood well of his (JESUS) CLAIMS in John 10:33:

The Jews answered him, “We are not stoning you for a good work but for blasphemy. You, a man, are making yourself God.”

Did Christ recant or try to correct these Jewish authorities if his words were completely taken out of context?

No!  He didn't!

Because HE KNEW who he was! How could he ever deny his own identity?

He became obedient, even "death on the cross" says Philippians 2.

So please do not be deceived! Before believing in their carefully chosen verses, you need to READ the WHOLE chapter so you can have a CLEAR picture of what's being talked about, not chop-chop verses to suit their GUILE evil intentions!

And what is the Bible telling us about THESE DECEIVERS of Faith?

Here is from 2 John 1:7

Many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh; such is the deceitful one and the antichrist.

Yes, the IGLESIA NI CRISTO of MANALO is the fulfillment of this message.  They denied JESUS who is GOD coming in the FLESH...

Exposing these DECEIT and LIES of INC of Manalo, may bring souls to the realization that the Iglesia ni Cristo is the anti-Christ disguising as a "church".
