Heart-breaking vandalism desecrates four churches in Rome

A 39 year old Ghanaian national has been arrested for attacking four churches in Rome and vandalising many priceless sacred statutes, including some 300 years old. The perpetrator attacked sacred art in the 9th-century Basilica of Santa Prassede, near Saint Mary Major, the church of San Martino ai Monti, and the Basilicas of San Giovanni de' Fiorentini, on the Via Giulia, and San Vitale, on the Via Nazionale.

At about 19:30 on the 30th September the parish priest of San Martino ai Monti reported to the police that a man had damaged a statue of the Madonna and infant Jesus. Shortly afterwards, the parish priest of the Basilica of Santa Prassede reported to the police that a man had damaged two statues, one of Saint Anthony of Padua and the other of Saint Prassede. Then on the morning of 1st October the police received reports of attacks on the Basilicas of San Giovanni de' Fiorentini, on the Via Giulia, and San Vitale, on the Via Nazionale. At these two churches the man attacked statues, candlesticks and crucifixes, while protesting that "it was not right that we worshipped in this way."

The police arrested the perpetrator at Ripetta, in the centre of Rome, and charged him with religious hatred and insulting religious institutions. He is being held in Regina Coeli prison.

Comment

It is alarming that violent attacks such as these on churches in Rome are occurring more frequently across Europe according to reports documented on the Observatory on Intolerance and Discrimination against Christians in Europe. The perpetrators of these attacks are more often than not motivated by secularism, feminism, LGBT ideology or Islam. At the present time, it is unclear what motivated the 39-year-old Ghanaian to attack four churches. However, the fact that he has been charged with religious hate crime suggests the authorities have concluded that his actions were not the result of mental illness.

I can never trust our Muslim brethren who are living in Europe and the Americas while their leading preachers or imam (speaking in Arabic which most of us do not understand) during their Friday prayers announce publicly their intention to conquer Europe and Rome.

Where will the Pope live when Rome falls to Islam?

It’s not an idle question. For one thing, there is historical precedent. Popes have been forced from Rome in the past. For another thing, numerous Islamic authorities have explicitly targeted Rome for conquest.

Rome may be the Eternal City, but it has seen rough times. In 846, for instance, Pope Leo IV had to briefly flee Rome when it was attacked by an Arab fleet. The following year, he ordered the construction of a great wall around the Vatican to protect it from marauding Muslims. Even as recently as the 1940s, Rome was occupied by a foreign army. Although the Nazis left the pope alone, there is no guarantee that that situation would have continued had the Germans been able to keep the Allied forces at bay.

If Rome ever falls to Islam, the pope—whoever he may be at that time—may choose to remain in Rome and suffer the almost certain martyrdom that would follow. That is up to him and the Holy Spirit. However, in light of the escalating Islamization of Europe, it would seem prudent for Vatican officials to draw up some contingency plans. If the pope chooses exile, it would probably have to be in North or South American since it’s unlikely there will be any safe havens in Europe. In fact, Italy is currently a safer place than many other European nations. Although many Muslim immigrants pass through Italy, it is not their first choice of residence. Other European countries offer much more generous welfare incentives than does Italy. Countries such as England, Belgium, France, Sweden, and Germany are likely to fall first.

By “fall,” I don’t mean that these countries will fall to Muslim armies. That probably won’t be necessary. What we will see—what we are already witnessing—is a slow, steady process of submission. Well, slow and steady up to a point—and then, a rapid acceleration.

Some places in Europe seem already to be in the rapid acceleration phase. Birmingham, England now has more Muslim than Christian children. “That means,” as Mark Steyn observes, “that absent any countervailing dynamic, its future is Muslim.” What will that future look like? Steyn comments:

If you’re a Muslim girl, the authorities will systematically turn a blind eye to forced marriages and honor violence and, if you’re a lower-class infidel girl, to “grooming.” If you’re boorish enough to draw attention to such unpleasantness, you’ll be committing a hate crime…

It’s not necessary to consult a crystal ball to see the future of Birmingham (England’s second largest city). The forced marriages of Muslim girls and the grooming of lower-class girls is already a reality in England. And so is the blind eye response. Most Americans don’t know about it, but it was recently revealed that over a sixteen-year period, 1400 girls in the city of Rotherham had been groomed, gang-raped, and traded by Muslim gangs—and all with the full knowledge of police, city officials, and child protection agencies. No one in authority did anything about it because no one wanted to be charged with “committing a hate crime” by singling out Muslims.

The term Babylon in the book of Revelation always refers to the Pagan Rome. Let us remember there are 2 types of Rome, the Pagan Rome and the Christian Rome. The Pagan Rome refers to the Roman Empire. The Roman empire was ruled by Emperor Nero during the time of the Apostles and it persecuted the early Catholics. The early Catholics were put to jail, they were beheaded, placed in the arena known as the Roman Coliseum and were fed to the lions. The same Emperor Nero ordered the crucifixion of St. Peter and the beheading of St. Paul because they didn’t want to worship the Emperor. Since then there were series of persecution among Christians in Rome until it was prohibited by Emperor Constantine who was converted to the Christian faith.

6. Was he brave enough to proclaim boldly the "true Church" among the Romans just like Catholic Missionaries around the world emulating St. Peter (the first Pope) and other apostles BOLDLY proclaiming Jesus amidst threat of persecution? 
7. Did Eraño have that "pentecostal" experience of "FEARLESS COURAGE" which may lead him to "Christian martyrdom"?
8. Did Eraño feared "persecution" that his presence in Rome to "bring back" the "true Church" was NOT EVEN FELT?
9. If he had "boldly proclaimed" the Manalo Church, had anyone believed his father's corporation is the "true Church" to be 'back" and to be "re-established" in Rome?
10. Did Eraño meet the "anti-Christ" residing in the Vatican and proclaim himself as the "true" representation of God to "re-establish" the "true Church" right in the heart of Rome?
11. If the "true Church" was indeed "back in Rome" where was  it established?  What's its name? Was it in TAGALOG "Iglesia ni Cristo"® signifying its humble beginnings in Punta SANTA ANA, in Manila and is now in ka-DILIMAN Quezon City? Or was it in Italian? Or Latin? or English "Church of Christ"® WITHOUT those words "Iglesia ni Cristo"® (or the other way around) carefully translated in parenthesis?

ANSWERS:

1. The CHURCH NEVER left Rome! It was THERE before and IS STILL THERE today! History proves that! And the HUGE ARTIFACTS will speak of that FACT!
2. Manalo's visit to Rome is for INCorporated 1914 All Rights Reserved Church a significant milestone.  For them his presence signifies the "true Church" of Manalo  now replacing the Catholic Church.  Of course, everyone is entitled for his own opinion.  They are FREE to DREAM! 
3. No one mandated Eraño! Only his father and the laws of the republic.  The INC is a corporation sole owned and managed by the Manalo, it's logical that any of the Manalo's will be in-charge. All other companies in the Philippines is protected by that law!
4. He knew Eraño was in Rome except the few fanatic cult members. Seeing him in person makes others in hysteria.  He's their "little pope" without ecclesiastical authority over anyone except the INCorporated 1914 All Rights Reserved Church of Manalo. Eraño was in Rome for inauguration of their "locale" there.  His audience? None but 99.9% Filipinos! 
5. Eraño proclaimed the "true Church" in pure TAGALOG! He knows no Italian! Much more with ancient languages of the Bible. Surely he is AT LOST when it speaking to Greek, Hebrew or Latin. INCorporated 1914 All Rights Reserved Church of Manalo is a FILIPINO founded CHURCH (but not my church!)
6. The Holy Spirit didn't descend on him. 
7. Eraño was never seen in public debates nor he has spoken openly on major issues both local and international.  His concern only is to look after his father's flock the Inc. members!
8. Eraño NEVER experienced the hardships of being "persecuted" except the fact that his father claimed to be the "Last Mesenger" or an "angel" from the East. Never he have gone a missionary life, NOT EVEN his own ministers were sent to jungles and pagan countries to proclaim God.  They are MOSTLY FOUND in places where Christianity (Catholicism) is WELL ESTABLISHED. There they do their "mission" of deception!
9. Only few people around less than 10 million strong Filipinos!
10. Eraño knew he would be put in prison if he would be shouting in the streets of Rome accusing the Pope as the "anti-Christ" and proclaim his father's church to be the "true Church". Because Eraño still KNOWS CONSCIOUSLY the fact that the Catholic Church is NO DOUBT the accepted TRUE CHURCH from history and the Bible!
11. The "true Church" of Manalo is located somewhere in Via Viguzzolo No. 16 
    Rome 00166 Italy in a RENTED session hall.  The INCorporated 1914 All Rights Reserved Church of Manalo is NOW in Rome rented session hall.  The name is still in TAGALOG according to its registration in the Roman Securities and Exchange Commission.

ROME (CNS) -- When Sudanese Bishop Paride Taban of Torit wanted to help stop traditional cattle raiding by rival groups of young men, he turned to the Catholic peace-building organization IKV Pax Christi from the Netherlands.

The cattle raiding had become extremely dangerous and violent, and Pax Christi helped develop a program that would bring together the youth warriors from different rural communities to discuss the problem and come up with alternative ways of relating.

After two conferences, participants were able to launch a peace and sports program called Playing for Peace. It engages the young people in a platform for debate and involves them in building a sports infrastructure.

Saudis studying and living abroad are calling on their compatriots to avoid bad behavior on the road and in public, as not respecting local laws could land them in trouble.

Many Saudis traveling for vacation claimed it had been difficult for them to respect the laws of the countries they visit because they do not respect their own laws in the Kingdom.
