Why Insist on Veiling Muslim Women and Why is it banned in France?

An Iranian Woman Elnaz Babazadeh (26) was raped and killed (read here). What's the reason? She was "improperly dressed".

"The intentions of the savage Basij members was to put a stop to the “improper” way women in society dressed. Basij members believe this is their duty to God."

Perhaps, wearing a proper "burqa" would have saved her life. Is it?

In France, the wearing of "burqa" soon will be banned in public.

Paris, France (CNN) -- France's lower house of parliament Tuesday overwhelmingly passed a ban on any veils that cover the face -- including the burqa, the full-body covering worn by some Muslim women.

The vote was 335 to 1.

The measure must still go to the French Senate before it becomes law. The Senate is expected to vote on it in the week of September 20.

Amnesty International immediately condemned the vote.

"A complete ban on the covering of the face would violate the rights to freedom of expression and religion of those women who wear the burqa or the niqab in public as an expression of their identity or beliefs," said John Dalhuisen, Amnesty International's expert on discrimination in Europe.

Where is the war? There is no war on burqa or any particular type of dressing. What is being banned in an ever-growing number of European countries is the complete veiling of face in public places.

Some readers are either overreacting or just making a big deal out of this. There are continuous threats of terror, and veiling the face completely is considered a big security risk. All security apparatus, if they cannot identify the person, will be of no use. In many Western and secular countries women wear bikinis only when they are out in the swimming pool or engage in some aquatic activities. Nobody roams the streets wearing bikinis. Salima Hussain is exaggerating things.

“It is either burqa or bikini” argument is fallacious. Does she find bikini-clad women on Indian streets? We must view other societies through their value systems. It is not a question of vice versus virtue; it is basically a subtle clash of civilizations. Rightly or wrongly, many of these European countries fear a creeping Talebanization of their Muslim citizens. No country has banned hijab per se; it is only complete veiling of face that is frowned on. In Western countries the judiciary is very powerful and one can always appeal to the relevant courts for constitutional protection. Failing this, the best course is to migrate to those countries where niqab is considered a normal way of life."

Perhaps it's a very good advise from a Muslim woman. If Muslim women can't take a secular state's decision, there's Saudi Arabia, Afghanistan, Pakistan, India-- the best choices for migration and have the joy of wearing full hijab WITHOUT RESTRICTION.

It's not common but it’s good to read positive and objective comments right from Muslims across the world in reaction to the banning of Burqas being worn by Muslim women in secular states like France. Once it’s signed into law, it will be the first law in Europe.

With the up surging tide of Muslim migrants to secular Western countries such as France (thanks to their democratic governments and tolerance) their presence and influence has stirred the acceptance of Western citizens by imposing Halal food in their fast food restaurants and Muslim women wearing Burqa covering the face except the eyes in public places.

These influence imposes Islamism right within French’ secular society introducing Islamic cultures and practices. It’s the beginning of the so called “clash of civilizations.”

Why women are wearing Burqas? Why they’re wearing them in public? Why it becomes an issue?

“A burqa (Arabic pronunciation: [ˈbʊrqa]; also transliterated burkha, burka or burqua from Arabic: برقع‎ burqu‘ or burqa‘ ) is an enveloping outer garment worn by women in some Islamic traditions for the purpose of hiding a female's body when out in public.”

A burqa is usually associated with wearing the hijab (headscarf) and the niqab (face covering) which is strictly implemented in former Taliban controlled Afghanistan.

Its origin is found in the Quran Sura Nur (Chapter: The Light". Verse 31 it says:

"And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what (must ordinarily) appear thereof; that they should draw their veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty except to their husbands, their fathers, their husband's fathers, their sons, their husbands' sons, their brothers or their brothers' sons, or their sisters' sons, or their women, or the slaves whom their right hands possess, or male servants free of physical needs, or small children who have no sense of the shame of sex; and that they should not strike their feet in order to draw attention to their hidden ornaments. And O ye Believers! turn ye all together towards Allah, that ye may attain Bliss. "

I would like to understand this Quranic verse this way. That female beauty attracts males. And when a male is attracted, he is aroused and that arousal means having no control over sex that by covering a lady's beauty, the possibility of sinning could be prevented.  I might be wrong but still my opinion is valid.

If that so, those who insist on veiling women view sex filthy, dirty, and evil. So the desire of seeing an uncovered woman is synonymous to having actual sex with the woman uncovered.

Does it mean women are agents of the devil and that their beauty is a clear temptation from the Devil? What a poor gender.  They were born to be instrument of the Devil for possessing that beauty.

I can only sympathize for women in Saudi Arabia, Taliban controlled Afghanistan, Pakistan and India whose rights of choosing was never given.

So why Burqa became a political issue in France? Is it viewed as Islamism" of the West? Or is it an effect of alleged "Islamophobia". But for Mr. Rober Spencer, it's the other way  around. Here is his personal suggestion on how to counter "Islamophobia" by JihadWatch.org

IN Saudi Arabia, WOMEN ARE REQUIRED TO WEAR the Abaya (same as Burqa). It is MANDATED by the SAUDI ARABIAN law.They have no other choice.

The Abaya should be black. For the authorities, black conceals any attraction and attention from any possible onlookers. All other colors are strictly forbidden. Women wearing black Abayas with embroidered colorful designs are strictly warned by the Muttawas (religious police) or may be severely punished according to their law.

Abayas should not be body-fitted. They should be loose covering from nape to hills. Some families require their female memberss to wear a complete burqa, covering the whole face, the hands and the toe nails. Any Abayas that conceals the contour of a woman’s body (sexy body so to speak) is strictly warned by the Muttawas and any violation has a corresponding severe punishment.

In the Taliban Afghanistan, the veiling of women was extremely harsh. Punishment for anyone who defies this strict observance of Shariah (Islam rule) was severely punished in public, to some degree, physical punishment in public was just a norm.

In other words, WOMEN HAVE NO CHOICE but to follow what the Islamic Law (Shariah) allows as Halal (lawful).

The wearing of Burqa in France and any city in the West is not similar to women wearing Burqa in strict Islamic societies I have mentioned.  As I understand Muslim female wearing Burqas in the West HAVE  THE CHOICE and PERSONAL FREEDOM to wear them therefore Muslim women in the West can freely choose not to wear the complete Hijab.  It's the other way of saying "I'm proud to be a Muslim" accusing Muslims of "Supremacist ideology" being implemented in the West.  We should note that  innon-Muslims cannot freely practice their faith in Islamic states such as Saudi Arabia and elsewhere.

In other words, the wearing of hijab in France is politically motivated with religious undertones.  But since radical and extremist Muslims use these identities for terroristic activities, France secular laws prohibits women from wearing full burqa or hijab covering the face.

Banning the wearing of Hijab in France is reasonable.  Western countries are bracing itself from constant threat of terrorist attacks mostly perpetuated by Muslim (as they identify themselves with Islam).  Muslims on the other hand cannot blame non-Muslims for stereotyping them.  They should make a bold step in criticizing their own and start denouncing any desire by Muslim extremists to replace Western secular laws to Sharia.

Mr. Rober Spencer should be credited for honestly bringing his cause for JihadWatch, unless Muslims can do something about the growing menace in the world by "Islamic" insurgents from Philippines to Paris.

Women Bishop Vote Threatens to Split Church of England

CNN News Blog - The Church of England inched closer to allowing women bishops this weekend, with a vote that traditionalists warned could split the church.

The church's governing body narrowly rejected a measure that would allow parishes that oppose women bishops to have an additional male bishop.

The proposal, floated by Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams (pictured) - the titular head of the Church of England - was an attempt to satisfy conservatives.

Campaigners for women bishops hailed the vote as a victory.

But traditionalists said the ballot "has made it very difficult for those who in conscience cannot accept the ministry for women priests and bishops."

The vote happened Saturday at the General Synod, the three-times-a-year meeting that sets policies for the Church of England.

Williams, who is also nominal head of the worldwide Anglican Communion, proposed the measure along with John Sentamu, the Archbishop of York.

The rejection of the compromise was greeted with a "slightly stunned silence," said the Rev. Miranda Threlfall-Holmes.

"Everyone was aware instantly of how close it was, [with] a slight gasp from everybody, thinking, 'Oh no, we only lost that by the skin of our teeth' or 'only passed that by the skin of our teeth,'" she said Sunday.

The Church of England is probably still a couple of years away from having women bishops. If this week's General Synod approves them, as expected, parishes across the church then have at least a year to consider the matter before a future General Synod casts a final vote on the issue.

Chris Sugden of the conservative Anglican Mainstream movement said the vote showed that conservatives were actually the majority.

"Although this group is portrayed as a minority, those who do not want a winner-take-all, scorched-earth policy, are a majority in Synod," he said.

He denied that the vote was about whether or not to ordain women bishops, saying the Church of England had already decided to go ahead with that.

Instead, Sugden said, the vote was about keeping the church together.

The failed compromise was so "that those who cannot accept women bishops can still be part of the Church of England," he said. "We believe in freedom of conscience, in religious freedom," he said of conservatives.

But he said a split was not inevitable, with two days to go before the General Synod concludes.

"Forty-eight hours is a long time in the life of a synod," he told CNN Sunday. "There is a lot of water to flow under the bridge. A lot of conversations are taking place."

The Catholic Group in Synod, another conservative group, suggested it would continue to fight against women bishops.

"The process in General Synod is not over and we would wish to be involved in the ongoing discussions as to a way forward that includes all loyal members of the Church of England," it said in a statement.

But a campaign called Women in the Church hailed the vote.

"We're tying hard not to use the word victory, but yes it is," said Sally Barnes, a Women in the Church representative.

"You can't have a church where we're all supposed to be one in Christ and then treat women as if it's the faulty half of creation," she told CNN Sunday.

"People don't need protecting against women, it's not a Christian concept. It's not how Christ treated women," she argued.

Under Church of England rules, for a measure like the one proposed by Williams and Sentamu to pass, it needed majority support from three different groups: bishops, priests and lay leaders.

Bishops and lay leaders backed the measure, but priests narrowly rejected it, meaning it failed.

The Anglican Communion - of which the Church of England is the British branch - is the world's third-largest Christian denomination, with about 77 million members worldwide.

It's facing serious strains over the ordination of women bishops and gay priests, and the Catholic Church has reached out to disaffected Anglicans, raising the possibility that conservatives could leave en masse.

UNITED ARAB EMIRATES

There are over 250,000 foreign workers in the country who are Catholics, representing around 7% of the total population, largely Filipinos, Indians, Americans, Lebanese, and Europeans. KUWAIT

There are over 140,000 Roman Catholics in the country - representing about 6% of the population.

There are no dioceses in the country, but Kuwait has the status of an Apostolic Vicariate. The current superior is the Italian Bishop Camillo Ballin. There is a cathedral in Kuwait City dedicated to the Holy Family.

LEBANON

There are about one million Catholics in Lebanon , the majority of who are not Roman Catholic, but instead follow a number of different rites of the Catholic church - mostly Maronite, but also Armenian, Chaldean, Melkite and Syriac.

EGYPT

The Roman Catholic population in Egypt is considerably small as compared to the rest of the Christian population in Egypt. The Roman Catholic population in Egypt is said to have begun during the British control of Egypt, however many returned back to Europe after the 1952 Revolution in Egypt, which also caused the overthrow and exile of King Farouk of Egypt.

The majority of the christians in Egypt are members of the Coptic Orthodox Church of Alexandria. The population of Roman Catholics in Egypt makes up less than 1% of the total Egyptian population, which is roughly 83 million people.

OMAN

There are only 3,001 (according to a 2005 census) Catholics in Oman, mostly expatriates. They make up just 0.1% of the total population of 3,001,583. Oman forms part of the Apostolic Vicariate of Arabia.

Catholics in the Palestinian territories

There are over 80,000 Catholics in the areas referred to as the Palestinian territories, mostly in the agglomeration between Ramallah and Bethlehem, including the West Bank suburbs of Jerusalem. Adherents are mostly Latin Rite, but there is also a small Melkite Rite community. There are two Archbishops of Jerusalem for each jurisdiction respectively.

QATAR

There are very few Catholics in this overwhelmingly Islamic country - most are expatriate workers. Qatar forms part of the Apostolic Vicariate of Arabia. The local church has been granted permission to build an ecumenical church. The first Catholic church in Qatar, and also the first in an Arab Muslim emirate, will be dedicated in the capital Doha on March 14th, 2008.

SAUDI ARABIA

Public worship of non-Islamic religions is forbidden in Saudi Arabia and Christians of all denominations have been subjected to persecution for public preaching. Possession of Bibles, in theory, is not a crime although possession of large quantities can carry severe penalties as it may be viewed as evidence of intent to convert others. However, there are some signs of more openness. Pope Benedict XVI and King Abdullah have begun negotiations on opening the first Catholic church in the kingdom.

YEMEN

There are only four thousand Catholics in the country, which forms part of the Apostolic Vicariate of Arabia which also includes other countries in the Arabian peninsula.

SYRIA

There are 368,000 Catholics in Syria, approximately 2% of the total population. The Catholics of Syria follow several different rites, including Armenian, Chaldean, Syrian, Maronite and Melkite in addition to the Roman rite and there are separate jurisdictions for the faithful of each rite.

JORDAN

There are approximately 70,000 Catholics in Jordan, representing just over 1% of the total population. The whole of the country forms a single Archeparchy. Jordanian Catholics belonging to the Greek Catholic churches use the Melkite Rite, these are referred to as "Catholiks" in Jordan, while those following the standard rites of the Roman Catholic Church are referred to as "Lateen".

Communion by hand is not permitted in any Catholic Church in Jordan, and the habit itself is completely alien to most Jordanians. Sometimes, however, at mass conducted for non-Jordanians, and specifically westerners in Jordan, communion by hand is permitted.

There are currently 32 Roman Catholic churches in Jordan (Greek and Melkite Catholic churches not included.)

IRAQ

There are over 300,000 Catholics in Iraq, just over 1% of the total population. The Catholics of Iraq follow several different rites, but most are members of the Chaldean Catholic Church. There are fifteen currently active dioceses and eparchies in Iraq.

ISRAEL

There are just 100,000 Catholics in Israel, just over 1% of the total population. Most Israeli Catholics are members of the Melkite Greek Catholic Church, but there is also a significant presence of the Maronite Church. In addition, the Latin Catholic Church hierarchy in Israel is headed by the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem.

IRAN

There are just 13,603 Catholics in Iran - out of a total population of almost 70 million. They follow the Chaldean, Armenian and Latin Rites.

TURKEY

There are only around 35,000 Catholics, constituting 0.05% of the population, in this traditionally Islamic country. The faithful follow the Latin, Byzantine, Armenian and Chaldean Rite. The Catholic community was shocked when Father Andrea Santoro, an Italian missionary working in Turkey for 10 years, was shot twice at his church near the Black Sea. He had written a letter to the Pope asking him to visit Turkey. Pope Benedict XVI visited Turkey in November 2006. Relations had been rocky since Pope Benedict XVI had stated his opposition to Turkey joining the European Union. The Council of Catholic Bishops met with the Turkish prime minister in 2004 to discuss restrictions and difficulties such as property issues.

AFGHANISTAN

There are very few Catholics in this overwhelmingly Islamic country - just over 100 attend mass in its only chapel - and freedom of religion has been difficult to obtain in recent times, especially under the former Taliban regime. On 16 May 2002, Pope John Paul II established a mission sui iuris for Afghanistan with Father Giuseppe Moretti as its first superior. The only Catholic Church in the country is the chapel at the Italian embassy in Kabul. In 2004, the Missionaries of Charity arrived in Kabul to carry out humanitarian work.

History of the Catholic Church in Afghanistan

Legend from the apocryphal Gospel of Thomas and other ancient documents suggests that Saint Thomas preached in Bactria, which is today northern Afghanistan. The Nestorians planted Christianity in the area, and there have been 9 bishops and dioceses in the region, including Herat (424-1310), Farah (544-1057), Kandahar, and Balkh. This early establishment of the Church was overcome by Muslim invasions in the 7th century, though the territory was not substantially controlled by Muslims until the 9th and 10th centuries. In 1581 and 1582 respectively, the Jesuit and Spanisch Montesserat and the Portuguese Bento de Goes were warmly welcomed by the Islamic Emperor Akbar, but there was no lasting presence by the Jesuits in the country.

The 20th Century

Italy was the first country to recognize Afghanistan’s independence in 1919, and the Afghan government asked how it could thank Italy. Rome requested the right to build a chapel, which was then being requested by international technicians then living in the Afghan capital. A clause giving Italy the right to build a chapel within its embassy was included to Italian-Afghan treaty of 1921, and that same year the Barnabites arrived to start giving pastoral care. The actual pastoral work began in 1933 when the chapel international technicians had asked for was built. In the 1950s, the simple cement chapel was finished.

Pope John Paul II called for a "just solution" to the Soviet-Afghan war in the 1980s. From 1990 to 1994, Father Giuseppe Moretti was the only priest in Afghanistan, but was forced to leave in 1994 after being hit with shrapnel and had to return to Italy. After 1994, only the Little Sisters of Jesus were allowed to remain in Afghanistan, as they had been there since 1955 and their work was renowned. An official from the last pro-Communist government of Mohammad Najibullah went to see Fr Giuseppe Moretti in 1992 with a sketch for a small compound that would be guaranteed immunity. However, nothing came of it as the political situation in Afghanistan unravelled - the civil war escalated, the Taliban came to power and then lost it after the American invasion. Father Moretti again was forced to flee because of the invasion by the United States, but later returned. Following the attacks of September 11, Catholic Relief Services sent clothing, food and bedding to returning refugees and internally displaced persons. They also bought school supplies for children returning to school.

Post-Taliban

The first Mass in 9 years was celebrated on January 27, 2002 for members of the International Security Force and various members of foreign agencies. On May 16, 2002, a mission sui iuris was created for all of Afghanistan. There is only one functioning chapel in the country and it is the Italian Embassy's chapel. Projects of the new mission include a "Peace School" for 500 students that began construction in August 2003 and will be at "European standards". Three nuns also work with those who have mental disabilities in the capital city, teaching those with cerebral palsy how to go to the bathroom and how to eat on their own. The small community went through a period of crisis during the kidnapping on May 17, 2005 of Clementina Cantoni, a member of Care International, by four gunmen in Kabul as she walked to her car. Sisters from the Missionaries of Charity had their house blessed on May 9, 2006, and have already started taking in street children. There had been fears that their distinctive blue and white dress would make them stand out and be harassed by Islamists, but their order is generally respected. Jesuit Relief Services has also applied to join the growing number of religious orders in the country. Jesuit Refuge Services has recently opened a technical school in Herat for 500 students including 120 girls.

There have been efforts made to start inter-religious dialogue, with the Islamist head of the Afghan Supreme Court, Mullah Fazul Shinwari attended the inauguration of the mission and has expressed a desire to meet with the Pope.

The Catholic community in Afghanistan is mainly made of foreigners, especially aid workers, and no Afghans currently are part of the Church, mainly due to great social and legal pressure not to convert to non-Islamic religions. Some Afghans have converted while overseas, but keep it secret when they return. Despite this, the community has grown from only a few nuns to a full Sunday Mass of around 100.

Relations with the new democratic government of Afghanistan have been positive, such as President Hamid Karzai attending Pope John Paul II's funeral and congratulating Pope Benedict XVI on his election. The nuncio to Pakistan visited Afghanistan in 2005 and held a Mass in the Italian Embassy Chapel to an overflowing crowd, and Catholic officials hope that official diplomatic ties and a public Catholic church will be possible in the future.

PAKISTAN

Pope John Paul II visited Pakistan on February 16, 1981.

There are over one million Catholics in Pakistan, which represents less than 1% of the total population. There are 7 ecclesiastical units in Pakistan comprising 2 archdioceses and 4 dioceses, and one Apostolic Prefecture, all Latin Rite.

The Catholic Church in Pakistan is also active in education managing leading schools like Saint Patrick's High School, Karachi, health and other social aspects of daily life in addition to its spiritual work.

Joseph Cordeiro, Archbishop of Karachi, became the first (and thus far only) Pakistani Cardinal elevated to the position by Pope Paul VI on 5 Mar 1973.

The Fundamental Beliefs of the Iglesia ni Cristo®, actually second in rank, vehemently denies the truth about the Doctrine of the Holy Trinity.

"The Father who created all things is the only true God. There is no Trinity, no three persons in one God."

That makes them uniquely different (though not original) from the entire Christian community of believers (if they're to be considered "Christians" for denying the Divinity of Christ even it's explicitly affirmed in the Holy Scriptures.) We should note in this juncture that members of the Iglesia ni Cristo® DO NOT call themselves "Christians" but "Iglesia" or "Iglesia ni Cristo."

In this video, they boldly proclaim how they're called "Iglesia ni Cristo" (not Christians) and confessed the truth of the Trinity by acknowledging the Three Persons, Father, Son and Holy Spirit-- pledging worship to [One] God (which is a Catholic Teachings-- "There is only ONE God in Three Divine Persons they insist that Catholics have three gods).

In Christianity, the symbolism of triangle represents that of the Holy Trinity. The Iglesia ni Cristo® have that symbolism in their Official Logo. Bro. Quirino M. Sugon Jr. analysis on the subject notices that too (read HERE). If not for the Holy Trinity, then the remaining option in its symbolism is MASONRY which only confirms their group being a CULT disguising as a religion.

Then there's a Letter to PASUGO (INC®'s Official Magazine)and the Chief Editor's Response. Notice how the Iglesia ni Cristo's PASUGO Chief Editor emphasizes no distinction (using pronoun HE/HIM) between God (the Father), Jesus (Son) in its explanation implying God and Jesus are equal in essence. Read it for yourselves.  (No Iglesia dared to comment on this post).

Therefore in theory, the Iglesia ni Cristo® denies the Truth of the Trinity but elsewhere in its external proclamation of its beliefs they categorically affirm this basic Truth which one has to adhere so as to be worthy of the name "Christians".

For now, let them call themselves "Iglesia" while we proudly call ourselves CHRISTIANS belonging to the One, Holy, Catholic (Universal), Apostolic Church of Christ FOUNDED BY CHRIST in Jerusalem.  For who can suppress the Truth manifested in His Church? Not even the "gates of Hell can prevail" against His own founded Church (Matthew 16:16-18).  Not even the Iglesia ni Cristo®!

This is a great post, I picked up from a super strong defender, named Lou...please all of you tuck this away, and keep it for defensive purposes. When you have someone, in our separated Christian camp...go after you, this is a great reply. Thought it was worthy of sharing....

Consider the following

Christ said... "I will never leave you nor forsake you" and promised that the Gates of Hell would not prevail against the Church.

If the truth that Jesus taught was not spread, was not taught for a period of time, then how can it be said the the Gates of Hell did not prevail.

That being the case, can you demonstrate that the Gospel, as you understand it, has been preached continuously since the time of Christ? If you cannot demonstrate a line of teachers who taught what you believe was taught by Christ, then the Gospel, as you understand it, was lost. If the Gospel of your Christ was lost, then your Christ is a loser. Who would want to believe in such a weak God? I certainly wouldn't.

But, you see, I can point to a succession of teachers, starting with the disciples of the apostles, who have taught Catholic Dogma. The Gospel as Catholics understand it has continuously been taught. That is the Christ who has remained with his Church.

When He said to the apostles, "I will send you the Holy Spirit and he will lead you into all truth", he wasn't saying that the Holy Spirit would lead each of them individually into all truth, but that he would lead them COLLECTIVELY into all truth.

As Paul says, the Church is the pillar of the Truth. He didn't say scripture - because scripture is, after all, a record, but the Church is a living being, the Body and Bride of Christ. And in rejecting the Church, you've cut yourself off from the living Body of Christ and substituted a delusion of spirit filling for the true Filling of the Spirit.

You can never be led into all truth because you reject the "Church, the pillar and foundation of the Truth".

"As Vincent of Lérins wrote in The Commonitory, "Moreover, in the Catholic Church itself, all possible care must be taken, that we hold that faith which has been believed everywhere, always, by all."

And, that is exactly what we believe. We can point to teachers at the end of the First Century and the beginning of the Second who were teaching the same doctrines we believe. You cannot do that, because the interpretation you preach is a novelty, something which was not "believed everywhere, always, by all".

One other thought. You answered "What is Truth". Aren't those exactly the same words Pilate said to Jesus?"

Ang hindi katanggap-tanggap ay paratang ni Felix Manalo na ang IGLESIA KATOLIKA “na siyang Iglesia ni Cristo” (Pasugo 1966, p. 46) ay “sa Demonyo” at ang mga paring Katoliko ay mga “alagad ng Diablo”.

“Kaninong Ministro kung ganyan ang mga Paring Katoliko? Mga Ministro ni Satanas na Diablo." (PASUGO Disyembre 1965, p. 5)

Upang manaig ang KATOTOHANAN, sinubukan kong ipagtanggol ang Iglesia Katolika na siyang tunay na Iglesia ni Cristo ayon nga sa Pasugo, Abril 1966, p. 46.

Ilan sa mga katuruan ng Iglesia ni Cristo™ na hindi sang-ayon sa katuruan ng Pangkalahatang Iglesia ni Cristo ay ang mga sumusunod:

1.Si Cristo ay tao LAMANG.

2.Ang Banal na Trinidad ay turo ng mga Pagano.

3.Ang Acts 20:28 Lamsa Version ng Biblia

4.Ang pagkakaiba ng Imahe sa Katoliko at ang imahe ni Felix Manalo sa Central

5.Ang hindi pagkakain ng Dugo.

6.Felix Manalo bilang Anghel at Huling Sugo

7.Ang hatol kay Felix Manalo sa kasong panggagahasa

8.Ang kayamanan ng mga Manalo

9.Walang pasko pero may pagdiriwang sa kanilang Anibersaryo tuwing July 21.

Sila ang nambuyo sa Iglesia Katolika at sa mga Katoliko kaya’t nagkaroon ng CATHOLIC DEFENDERS. Iyan din ang aking dahilan upang ako’y gumawa ng “In Defense of the Church”.

Pinapatunayan lamang ng mga Catholic Defenders na ang Iglesia ni Cristo™ na tatag ni Felix Manalo ay PEKE. Ito’y ayon na rin sa kanilang Magasing Pasugo:

PASUGO Mayo 1968, p. 7:

"Ang tunay na INK ay iisa lamang. Ito ang Iglesiyang itinayo ni Cristo. Kung mayroon mang nagsisibangon ngayong mga Iglesia at sasabihing sila man ay Iglesia ni Cristo rin, ang mga ito ay hindi tunay na Iglesia ni Cristo kundi huwad lamang."

Samakatuwid, hindi nga nalipol ang tunay na Iglesiang kay Cristo ayon sa PASUGO Hunyo 1940, p. 27:

"Papaano ang pag-aalaga at pag-iingat sa pananampalataya? Wala tayong dapat gawin kundi manatili sa mga aral ng Dios na ating napag-aralan. Ito ang ginawa ng unang Iglesia. Sila'y nanatiling matibay sa aral ng mga Apostol. Ganito rin ang dapat nating gawin."

Eh ganon pala!

Nanatiling matibay sa aral ng mga Apostol ang mga Kristiano noon. Kung gayon HINDI NALIPOL ang TUNAY na Iglesia ni Cristo.

At lalabas na ang Iglesia ni Cristo™ sa Pilipinas ay isang nagpapanggap lamang na tunay!

PASUGO Mayo 1968, p. 7:

“Ang tunay na Iglesia ni Cristo ay iisa lamang, ito ang Iglesiang itinayo ni Cristo. Kung mayroon mang nagsisibangon ngayong mga Iglesia at sasabihing sila man ay INK rin ang mga ito ay hindi tunay kundi huwad lamang!"

Ayon sa kanilang Opisyal na magasin, PASUGO Agosto 1971, p.22:

“Tinitindigan namin na ang Iglesiang itinatag ni Cristo ay talagang iisa lamang. Nang magkaroon ng INK sa Pilipinas ay wala na ang Iglesia ni Cristo sa Jerusalem.”

Lumalabas na mula noong 1914, nawala na ang Iglesiang tinayo ni Cristo.

Totoo kaya?

Sabi ng PASUGO, Abril 1966, p. 46:

"Ang totoo hanggang sa kasalukuyan ay patuloy na ginagawa ni Satanas ang pagpapasok ng mga maling aral sa Iglesia Katolika na sa pasimula'y siyang Iglesia ni Cristo. Sadyang matalino at tuso ang diablo. Hindi niya ginawang biglaan ang pagtalikod sa Iglesiang itinayo ni Cristo noong unang siglo."

Hindi pa pala nawala. Dahil hanggang sa kasalukuyan ay “patuloy” si Satanas na nagpapapasok ng “maling aral sa Iglesia Katolika na sa pasimula’y siyang Iglesia ni Cristo.”

Mali ba ang aking sinipi sa kanilang Magasin? Sila lamang ang makakapgpatunay kung mali nga ang mga siping ito.

Ayon kay Propetang Isaias 10:1-2,

"Sa aba nila na nagpapasya ng mga likong pasya, at ng mga manunulat na sumusulat ng mga kasuwalian. Upang iligaw sa kahatulan ang mapagkailangan, at upang alisin ang katuwiran ng mga dukha ng aking bayan, upang an mga babaeng balo ay maging kanilang samsam, at upang kanilang gawing kanilang huli ang mga ulila".

Sa pangkalahatan, sila ang nag-umpisa ng pambubuyo at kami’y nagtatanggol lamang ng Santa Iglesia at kay Cristo.

Dahil hindi matanggap ng mga Manalistas ang pagtatanggol ng mga Catholic Defenders sa Inang Iglesia, ang mga kaanib ng Iglesia ni Cristo™ ay HINDI LUMALABAN NG PATAS patago at pailalim kung sila’y tumira. Kaya nagkaroon ng resbak.com (paghihiganti).

DAHAS ang kanilang armas at HINDI TALINO.

Paninirang-puri, pananakot (intimidation & threats), pambubuyo, pambabastos, pagpapanggap, at panlilinlang ang kanilang tanging kasagutan sa mga katanungang binabato sa kanila. Kinakasangkapan sila ni Kasamaan na ama ng kasinungalingan.

Nauunawaan ko ang kanilang pagkayamot. Mangyari kasing hindi nila kayang ipagtanggol ang Iglesia ni Cristo™ dahil ayon sa kanilang katuruan, tanging ang mga Ministro lamang ang may kakayahang umunawa ng Banal na Kasulatan.

WALA silang Opisyal na Katuruan mababasa maging sa internet o sa imprenta, maliban na lamang sa Official Magazine nilang PASUGO at GOD’S MESSAGE.

Ang tanging pagtatanggol na magagawa ng kanilang mga kaanib ay ang pakiusapan ang mga tumutuligsa sa kanila ay dumalo sa mga “PANGANGARAL” ng mga Ministro sa kanilang mga templo. Di posible sa mga taong may libu-libong milya ang layo mula sa Pilipinas.

Upang wala nang patumpik-tumpik na usapan, doon po tayo kumukuha ng opisyal na pahayag mula PASUGO at GOD’S MESSGE. Sa kasamaang palad, ang mga nalimbag na mga artikulo ay naging LABAN SA KANILANG sariling KATURUAN. Sila ang nagpapawalang bisa sa kanilang sariling katuruan at di ko na kasalanan iyan.

"Kaya't papaano makikilala ang sugo ng Dios at ang hindi sugo ng Dios: Sa aral makikilala ayon kay Jesus. Ang aral ng mga sugo ng Dios ay mula sa Dios, ang mg aral ng hindi sugo ng Dios, ay mula lamang sa kanyang sarili. (Juan 7: 16-18)"

"At sino nga ba ang gumagawa ng mga leksiong itinuturo ng mga ministro, maging sa mga pagsamba, mga doktrina o mga Propaganda? Ang Kapatid na Felix Manalo".

"Kaya't sa katuparan ng hula, ang lahat ng mga itinuturo ng mga Ministro ng INK sa mga pagsamba, sa mga doktrina, sa mga pamamahayag sa gitna ng bayan, ay si Kapatid na Felix Manalo lamang ang bumabalangkas at at nagtuturo sa kanila."

Masisisi ba nila ang mga CATHOLIC DEFENDERS sa pag-sipi ng kanilang OPISYAL na PASUGO? Ang sisihin nila ay ang punong taga-pangasiwang paglilimbag sa loob ng Iglesia ni Cristo™.

Sapagkat sintibay ng muog, ang lahat ng katuruan ng Iglesia Katolika ay galing sa Dios at kay Cristo, ito ang dahilan kung bakit ang nag-IISA, BANAL, PANGKALAHATAN, APOSTOLIKONG IGLESIA NI CRISTO ay kapiling pa rin natin sa loob ng 2,010 taon na ang nakalilipas.

Sa pag-aakala nilang ako’y maduwag, nagpadala si Satanas ng kanilang kaanib, dalubhasa sa panlilinlang at kasinungalingan. Ito’y sa katauhan ni CONRAD J. OBLIGACION.

OBLIGACION kayo na ang magpasya kung karapat-dapat bang paniwalaan ang isang habitual LIAR, a DECEIVER, a DISHONEST na kaanib ng Iglesia ni Cristo na tatag ni Felix Manalo. Ano kaya ang masasabi ng pamunuan ng INC sa pagkakaroon ng isang kaanib na puno ng kabuktutan?

Sa inuugali ni G. OBLIGACION, lalong lumalakas ang aking paniniwala na HINDI sa Dios at kay Cristo ang Iglesiang kinaaaniban niya! Gawain ng KADILIMAN ang gumagawa ng kasuklam-suklam na  pandaraya para lamang makagati sa mga kumakaaway sa kanyang KULTO.
