Basahin ang nag-iisang IGLESIA NI CRISTO!!!

Ang sabi ni README kaanib ng Iglesia ni Manalo:

Maka-100% agree po tayo diyan.  Wala pong duda na ang tunay na Iglesia ay ang nag-iisang IGLESIA NI CRISTO pero ito ay hindi ang KATUNOG na itinatag ni Felix Manalo sa Punta Santa Ana Maynila.

Ang tinutukoy na NAG-IISANG IGLESIA ay ang IGLESIANG TATAG NI CRISTO sa JERUSALEM!

Ang iglesiang founded sa Sta. Ana na sa TAGALOG lamang nasusulat ay PEKE.  Samantalang ang itinatag ni Cristo sa Jerusalem ay hindi napapasailalim sa isang wika lamang at hindi rehistrado sa ilalim ng pamunuan ng kahit anong gobyerno ng tao.

At upang malaman natin kung alin nga ba ang TUNAY  IGLESIA na binabanggit sa Roma 16:16, ating hanguhin ngayon ang kanilang OFFICIAL magazine upang magpatotoo rito.

PASUGO Mayo 1968, p. 7:

“Ang tunay na INK ay iisa lamang. Ito ang Iglesiyang itinayo ni Cristo. Kung mayroon mang nagsisibangon ngayong mga Iglesia at sasabihing sila man ay Iglesia ni Cristo rin, ang mga ito ay hindi tunay na Iglesia ni Cristo kundi huwad lamang."

PASUGO Mayo 1954, p. 9:

“Alin ang tunay na Iglesia? Ang Iglesiang itinayo ni Cristo sa Jerusalem."

At HINDI ang itinayo ni Manalo sa Pilipinas!

Kung tuus-tuusin ay wala na tayong dapat pang linawin pa dahil inilahad na pong sinabi OFFICIALLY ng INC ni Manalo na ang kanilang Iglesia ay HUWAD o PEKE sapagkat kailan laman sila "nagsisibangon ngayon."

 Sa mga salin na Biblia na kanilang pinagkukunan ng quote sa Roma 16:16, wala ni isa sa kanila ang nakalagay na "Iglesia" (Church) kundi "iglesia" (churches).  Iba naman kapag ito'y sinipi nila at ipalathala sa magasing Pasugo.

Ang maliit na titik ay ginagawa nilang malaking titik upang lalabas na ito ay PROPER NOUN.

Sa kanilang pagko-collect ng mga salin ng Biblia, tanging sa CATHOLIC EDITION (Tagalog) lamang nila masusumpungan ang mga katagang "mga Iglesia ni Cristo" (malaking titik) at sa buong akala nila ay SILA ang tinutukoy ng Santa Iglesia roon.

Hindi nila alintana na ang kanilang pinagsasaya ay hugot mula sa CATHOLIC EDITION ng Biblia na lalong nagpapatingkad sa mga nakasaad sa OFFICIAL MAGAZINE na PASUGO.

PASUGO Mayo 1968, p. 7:

    “Ang tunay na INK ay iisa lamang. Ito ang Iglesiyang itinayo ni Cristo. Kung mayroon mang nagsisibangon ngayong mga Iglesia at sasabihing sila man ay Iglesia ni Cristo rin, ang mga ito ay hindi tunay na Iglesia ni Cristo kundi huwad lamang."

PASUGO Mayo 1954, p. 9:

Another thing, the phrase "churches of Christ" is not the name of the church that was established by Christ, it only denotes that Christ's church has congregations in other parts of the world. Because in the time the church was preached by the apostles, there are congregations or churches in other countries. For example, there is also a church in U.S.A, Europe, China, Philippines and Indonesia that's why it is said to be "churches of Christ", but the church that was established by Christ is not many, but only ONE that's why it should also be singular, "Church of Christ" or "Iglesia ni Cristo".

Ang iglesia raw ay IISA sapagkat IISA lamang daw ang itinatag ni Cristo kaya't marapat lamang daw na "Iglesia" ito at hindi "iglesia".  

Iyan din ang ITINUTURO ng Santa Iglesia mula pa noong ito'y ITINATAG sa JERUSALEM.  Na may IISANG IGLESIA at lahat ng mga nagpapanggap na "Iglesia" rin ay pawang mga PEKE o HUWAD lamang ayon sa magasing Pasugo.

Sa mga pangungusap ng kaanib ng INC ni Manalo na si Readme, at ng kanilang PASUGO, at ang CATHOLIC EDITION ng Roma 16:16 lalabas na ang NAG-IISANG IGLESIA NI CRISTO noon pang panahon ni Apostol San Pablo (na siyang sumulat ng Sulat sa mga taga-Roma) ay ang IGLESIA KATOLIKA lamang sapagkat tanging ito lamang sa maraming nag-aangking mga "iglesia" rin ang may kasaysayang nagmula pa noong UNANG SIGLO.

Sa katunayan ay tumatawid na po ito sa IKATLONG SIGLO samantalang ang "Iglesia ni Cristo" na KOPYA lamang ni Manalo ay papunta pa lamang sa SENTENARYO ngayong 2014 Anno Domini.

Tunay nga na TANGING ang IGLESIA KATOLIKA lamang ang nag-iisang IGLESIA NI CRISTO sapagkat ito rin ang paglalahad ng OFFICIAL MAGAZINE ng INC ni Manalo:

PASUGO Abril 1966, p. 46:

“Ang Iglesia Katolika na sa pasimula ay siyang Iglesia ni Cristo."

At bago pa man nila muling sasabihin na NATALIKOD na GANAP ang tunay na Iglesiang tatag ni Cristo, abah, magsuri sila sapagkat hindi ito ang ITINUTURO ng INC ni Manalo.

Ayon sa magasing PASUGO hango mula sa aklat na pinamagatang "ANG KATOTOHANAN TUNGKOL SA INK-1914"  ang IGLESIA ay HINDI NATALIKOD.  Ito'y UMIIRAL pa hanggang sa KASALUKUYANkaya't lalong tumitibay ang unang sinabi ng PASUGO na HUWAG o PEKE lamang ang mga "nagsisibangon ngayon" na may kapangalang "Iglesia ni Cristo."

PASUGO Enero 1964, p. 2:
“Sa isang paksang mababasa sa nakaraang labas nitong Pasugo (Disyembre) ay ipinaliwanag kung saan naroon ang Iglesiang itinayo ni Cristo noong unang siglo as Jerusalem. Ito ay natalikod. Nalipol na lahat."

Itong mga sinasabi nilang ito ay maraming nailigaw na landas ng Kabanalan. Dahil dito ay inilalahad ko ang mga katibayang magpapawalang saysaysa sinasabi nilang ito at nasusulat din sa kanilang Pasugo gaya nitong mga sumusunod:

(a). PASUGO Mayo 1968, p. 5:
"Ano ang katangian ng maging Tupa ni Cristo? Sa Juan 10:28 ay ganito ang sabi: 'At sila'y binigyan ko ng walang hanggang buhay, at kailanma'y hindi sila malilipol, at hindi aagawin ng sinuman sa aking kamay'. Isang dakilang kapalaran ang maging Tupa o Tauhan ni Cristo sapagkat sila'y binibigyan niya ng walang hanggang buhay at hindi sila malilipol kailan man."

Idaragdag natin dito ang talata 29, bilang susog sa talatang 28 na ginagamit nila, at ganito ang karugtong:

(29) Ang aking Ama (wika niJesus), na sa kanila ay nagbigay sa akin ay lalong dakila kaysa lahat; at hindi sila maaagaw ninuman sa kamay ng Ama." Ito bang nasusulat na ito sa kanilang PASUGO ay mabubura pa nila? Gayon din itong garantiyang sinasabi ni Jesus hinggil [sa] mga magiging tauhan niya? At higit pa bang paniniwalaan natin itong mga maling aral!

At bilang kalakip nito ay sisikapin pa natin ang isang banggit na nasusulat sa PASUGO Hunyo 1940, p. 27:

"Papaano ang pag-aalaga at pag-iingat sa pananampalataya? Wala tayong dapat gawin kundi manatili sa mga aral ng Dios na ating napag-aralan. Ito ang ginawa ng unang Iglesia. Sila'y nanatiling matibay sa aral ng mga Apostol. Ganito rin ang dapat nating gawin."

O ano pa ang ating puntong liliwanagin? Tinatanggap na nilang nananatiling matibay sa aral ng Dios ang mga Apostol ang unang Iglesia ni Cristo. At pagkatapos ay iyan daw ang kanilang pamarisan o dapat gawin. E, gayon pala; bakit sinasabi nilang "ganap na nawala sa ibabaw ng lupa ang mga dating tagasunod ni Jesus, inagaw at nilipol ng mga bulaang propeta." Huwag ninyong gawing sinungaling si Jesus. Malinaw ang kanyang sinabing garantiya na mababasa sa Juan 10:28-29, at inyong ginamit din.

At bago tayo magwakas ay kukuha pa tayo ng isang punto na may kaugnayan din dito.

(b). PASUGO Agosto 1971, p.22:
“Tinitindigan namin na ang Iglesiang itinatag ni Cristo ay talagang iisa
lamang. Nang magkaroon ng INK sa Pilipinas ay wala na ang Iglesia ni Cristo sa Jerusalem.”

Ang ibig nilang palitawin dito, ay noong 1914, ay nawala na ang itinayo ni Cristo. Bueno, tingnan natin ang bagay na ito, sapagkat may isang banggit na nasusulat sa PASUGO, Abril 1966, p. 46:

“Ang totoo hanggang sa kasalukuyan ay patuloy na ginagawa ni Satanas ang pagpapasok ng mga maling aral sa Iglesia Katolika na sa pasimula'y siyang Iglesia ni Cristo. Sadyang matalino at tuso ang diablo. Hindi niya ginawang biglaan ang pagtalikod sa Iglesiang itinayo ni Cristo noong unang siglo."

Ngayon, ang mga nakasulat ba sa CATHOLIC EDITION ng Bible ay LABAN sa Iglesia Katolika?  Hindi po.  Sinasabi lamang namin na KAMI ang binabanggit doon sa Roma 16:16 at hindi ang INC ni Manalo sa Pinas.  

Alin nga ba ang  "IGLESIANG" binabanggit sa ROMA 16:16?

Ang nag-iisang IGLESIA NI CRISTO na tatag ni Cristo sa Jerusalem?

Sa pagkakatanda ko e bago yung laban niya kay Timothy Bradley eh si Lord na ang lagi niyang bukambibig. Lagi niyang sinasabi na “sabi sa akin ni Lord…” dahil napasama siya sa mga born again.

Bakit naman kung kelan niya nakilala si Lord e saka naman siya natalo sa huling dalawang laban niya?

Yung unang pagkatalo niya pwede pa nating isipin na nagkamali lang ang mga hurado sa pagdedesisyon.

Pero itong laban niya kanina, malinaw na malinaw na natalo siya.

At ang nakakalungkot at masklap e para siyang humalik sa lupa nung huling bagsak niya.

Bakit? Bakit kung kelan niya nakilala si LORD (sa point of view ng mga born again) e saka siya natalo sa mga laban? sa nakakahiyang paraan ng pagkatalo?

Ibig sabihin ba yung buong panahon na lumaban siya na siya ay Katoliko, hindi niya kasama si Lord e madalas panalo siya. Matalo man siya hindi siya napapatumba.

Ngayong nakilala niya si Lord…walang sign of the cross, walang rosary….HILAHOD?!?!

From there 30 thousand people fled, which were added to the already 400 thousand refugees from Deir el Zor, Homs and Aleppo. Now they and those of the Free Syrian Army, on the Turkish border, may head towards the province of Jazira, urban centers of Hassaké and Kamishly.

If they do, the army of Assad will start bombing, just as what happened in Ras al Ain. It will be a slaughter, and there will be another 800 thousand people forced to flee, not knowing where." The Archbishop, in coordination with the other Bishops - the Syrian Orthodox and Assyrian - and with local leaders of other ethnic and religious communities, is engaged in feverish efforts of mediation to prevent new tragedies to his people.

Celebrating the Birthday of the Manalos: Iglesia ni Cristo's Hypocrisy

Iglesia ni Cristo will celebrate with joy the birth of EDUARDO V. MANALO, now the Executive Minister, grandson of INC's founder Felix Manalo, on October 31.

On the contrary, they are oppose on celebrating Christmas (December 25) the commemoration Birthday of the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Catholic Church is complete!

Many Protestant sects including the pseudo-Chritian sect founded by Felix Manalo in the Philippines (The Iglesia ni Cristo®) would be surprised by the fact that the Catholic Church is the only Church that is COMPLETE. Out of the many claimants, only the Catholic Church has complete history, complete teachings, councils, doctrines, dogmas, lineage, patrimony etc.

Such that we were founded by Jesus in 33AD; we have 266 Popes, we have 21 ecumenical councils, we have 73 Books of the Bible and we have complete doctrines!

Speaking of the Books of the Bible, Protestant churches and the Iglesia ni Cristo® of Manalo are helpless when we talk on HOW THE BIBLE CAME TO US. To this day, still many of their followers lived in total ignorance accusing the Catholic Church of having "ADDED" 7 more books.

In TRUTH it was Martin Luther who REMOVED the 7 books (highlighted in red) which had been approved 1500 years before the birth of Protestantism by the same CHURCH OF CHRIST in 382 AD through Pope Damasus I, reaffirmed in the Councils at Hippo (393 AD) and Carthage (397 AD); reaffirmed by Pope Innocent I in 405 AD; re-affirmed at the Council of CArthage in 419 AD; re-affirmed at the Council of Trent in 1546 in response to Martin Luther's removing of the 7 books (source: Catholic 101).

Of course Protestant pastors and ministers including those paid ministers of Manalo's INC Church do not tell these facts to their followers with all honesty. They lie so as to keep their members deceived and remained anti-Catholics.

So how many books are there in the original Bible before the Protestant Reformation?

12 Filipino Firms Seek International Trademark Protection Via Madrid

Philippines — The Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL) received 12 international applications on Tuesday, July 25, marking the first day of entry into force of the Madrid Protocol in the Philippines bringing a total of of 82 international registrations by Filipino trademark owners.

The Madrid Protocol designated a total of 82 Contracting Parties and consequently extending trademark protection of the involved brands to 160 countries worldwide.

Ten of the applicants originate from the buzzing City of Cebu, namely: Profood International Corporation (Philippine Brand Dried Mangoes and Profood Cebu Dried Mangoes), International Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Efficascent Oil, Omega Painkiller Liniment, Gastripac, Bioderm, and Dr. S. Wong’s Sulfur Soap), Magicmelt Foods, Inc. (Magic Melt), Arden Siarot (Arden), and Murillo’s Export International, Inc. (Murillo).

The two applicants from Manila are international fashion designer Robert Tomas (Tomas) and religious group Iglesia Ni Cristo (Iglesia Ni Cristo seal).

Pope says leave the Church if you don't believe!

The Immaculate Conception: What About the Eastern Orthodox Churches?

One objection raised by some Protestants is this: If the Immaculate Conception is truly apostolic teaching, then why do the Eastern Orthodox Churches reject it? After all, those Churches trace their lineage to apostolic times just as the Catholic Church does. To answer that, we have to understand why the Roman Church developed her doctrine in the way she did and why the East did not take the same path.

Some people have the notion the Eastern Orthodox Churches reject the Immaculate Conception because a few early Eastern Fathers (Origen, Basil, and John Chrysostom) expressed a couple of doubts about Mary’s sinlessness. Origen thought that, during Christ’s Passion, the sword that pierced Mary’s soul was disbelief. Basil had the same notion. And John Chrysostom thought her guilty of ambition and pushiness in Matthew 12:46 (an incident we have already examined).

But the remarkable thing about these opinions is how isolated they turn out to be. Essentially, they demonstrate (once again) something about the development of doctrine that we’ve already seen in connection with the Trinity: The Catholic Church is not a monolith and her people, even very good people, sometimes voice in good faith ideas that end up departing from the orthodox norm. For the reality is that, apart from these three, the overwhelming consensus of the Fathers in both east and west is that Mary is “most pure,” (Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom) “formed without any stain,” (Proclus, Laudatio in S. Dei Gen. ort., I, 3) “all-Holy,”( Hippolytus, Against Beron and Helix, Frag VIII) “undefiled,” (Ibid) “spotless,”( Hippolytus, A Discourse on the End of the World) “immaculate of the immaculate,”( Origen, Homily 1) “inviolate and free from every stain of sin,”( Ambrose, Commentary on Psalm 118, 22–30) and created in a condition more sublime and glorious than all other natures.( Theodorus of Jerusalem in Mansi, XII, 1140) In short, for the Eastern Fathers, as for the Catholic Church, Mary is as St. Ephraim describes her:

Most holy Lady, Mother of God, alone most pure in soul and body, alone exceeding all perfection of purity . . . alone made in thy entirety the home of all the graces of the Most Holy Spirit, and hence exceeding beyond all compare even the angelic virtues in purity and sanctity of soul and body . . . my Lady most holy, all-pure, all-immaculate, all-stainless, all-undefiled, all-incorrupt, all inviolate spotless robe of Him Who clothes Himself with light as with a garment . . . flower unfading, purple woven by God, alone most immaculate( Ephraim the Syrian, Precationes ad Deiparam in Opp. Graec. Lat., III, 524– 37).

So if the Eastern Orthodox Churches ignored Origen, Basil, and Chrysostom when they speculated that Mary was sinful, why do they reject the Immaculate Conception? In a nutshell, they reject it because the Immaculate Conception is the answer to a number of questions the Eastern Christians were never much interested in asking. And if you don’t ask the questions, you don’t come up with the answers. But, as we shall see, that’s cold comfort for Evangelicals. Read more here...

But whose Bible did they use for their "Grand Bible Exposition"? Remember, the Iglesia of Manalo do not have a Bible version of their own.

In their desire to appear "Biblical" in their teachings, they couldn't help but relied on CATHOLIC (and other PROTESTANT) versions of the Bible! (History can prove the Bible is Catholic).

In their official magazine called PASUGO, the INC of Manalo stressed that the Catholic Church is not for Christ for for the devil.

PASUGO Agosto 1962, p. 9:

“Kaya ang tunay na anti-Cristo, ang mga Papa ng Iglesia Katolika Apostolika Romana. At ang tunay na ampon ng anti-Cristo ay ang mga Katoliko.”

PASUGO Oktubre 1956, p. 1:

“Ang Iglesia ni Cristo ay nagdaos ng pamamahayag sa Lunsod ng Davao. Nagsalita roon si Kapatid na Felix Manalo at ang kasama niyang mga Ministro. Ipinahayag doon ng mga nagsalita na ang Iglesia Katolika Romana ay hindi itinatag ni Cristo kundi itinatag ng Diablo."

PASUGO Disyembre 1965, p. 5:

“Kaninong Ministro kung ganyan ang mga Paring Katoliko? Mga Ministro ni Satanas na Diablo."

And yet admitted in the same official magazine that the Catholic Church was the original Church of Christ.

PASUGO Abril 1966, p. 46:

“Ang Iglesia Katolika na sa pasimula ay siyang Iglesia ni Cristo."

And to EXPOSE their HYPOCRISY, the CHURCH which they accused of being of the devil and founded by Satan was RESPONSIBLE in giving the ENTIRE CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY with the SACRED SCRIPTURES.

VATICAN CITY (Source: Sunstar) -- Pope Benedict XVI has named six new cardinals, adding prelates from Lebanon, the Philippines, Nigeria, Colombia, India and the United States to the ranks of cardinals who will elect his successor.

Benedict made the surprise announcement during his weekly general audience Wednesday and said they would be elevated at a consistory November 24. The nominations help even out the geographic distribution of cardinals, which had tilted heavily toward Italy.

The new cardinals are: Archbishop of Manila, Philippines, Luis Antonio Tagle; Monsignor James Harvey, the American prefect of the pope's household; Archbishop of Abuja, Nigeria, John Olorunfemi Onaiyekan; Archbishop of Bogota, Colombia, Ruben Salazar Gomez; Patriarch of Antioch of the Maronites in Lebanon, Bechara Boutros Rai; and the major Archbishop of the Trivandrum of the Siro-Malankaresi in India, Baselios Cleemis Thottunkal. Are Catholics Christian?

I have an Evangelical friend who asked me:

"what is the difference between Catholics and Christians?"

I had to scratch my head for a few moments because it never occurred to me that some people didn't think Catholics are Christian. I think it is good that Evangelicals and Catholics have lively discussions on the interpretation of Scripture. Evangelicals do that with each other all the time. That's why there are so many different denominations. However, I have a big problem with any organization that says "Catholics are not Christians," because they are ignoring the history of Christianity. The name Christian predates all Protestant and Evangelical Churches by over a millennium. Many Evangelicals who think that Catholics are not Christian may be surprised to learn they accept the authority of several Catholic councils every time they pick up their Bible. The Bible didn't fall out of the sky, spiral bound with an NIV sticker on it. It has a rich Catholic history.

• Why do Catholics pray to Mary and the saints when Sacred Scripture states that there is one Mediator between God and man -- Christ Jesus?   (2 Tim. 2:5). 
• Why do Catholics repeat the same prayer over and over again when they pray the Rosary?  Is this not the vain repetition condemned by Christ in Matthew 6:7? 
• Why do Catholics believe in a place between Heaven and Hell called Purgatory?  Where is Purgatory mentioned in the Bible? 
• Why do Catholics confess their sins to priests?  What makes them think that priests can absolve them of the guilt of their sins?  Why don't they confess their sins directly to God as Protestants do? 
• Granting that priests do have the power to forgive sins in the name of God, what advantage does confessing one's sins to a priest have over confessing directly to God in private prayer? 
• Do Catholics confess all the sordid details of their sins to the priest? 
• Why do Catholics believe that Christ is sacrificed in each and every Mass, when Scripture plainly states that He was sacrificed on Calvary once and for all? 
• Why do Catholics believe their Holy Communion is the actual Flesh and Blood of Jesus Christ?  Why don't they believe as Protestants do that Christ is only present symbolically, or spiritually, in the consecrated bread and wine? 
• Why are Catholic lay people usually given Holy Communion only under the one form of bread?  By not giving the consecrated bread and wine, isn't the Catholic Church depriving its people of the full benefit of Holy Communion? 
• Why is Latin the language of the Church?  How can the congregation understand the Mass whenever it is said in Latin? 
• Why do Catholics call their priests "Father" despite the fact that Christ said:  "Call no man on earth your father; for one is your Father, who is in heaven"! (Matt. 23:9). 
• Why do Catholics practice fasting and abstinence from meat on certain days?  Does not St. Paul call abstaining from meats a "doctrine of devils"?  (1 Tim. 4:1-3)

News.va - The Thirteenth General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops continues Saturday, with interventions from Bishops from around the world.

Covering the Synod for Vatican Radio, Philippa Hitchen spoke with Patriarch Faoud Twal about his message for the assembled Bishops. He said that, in a certain way, the New Evangelisation must return to its roots in the Church of Jerusalem: “I mention in my intervention that the whole thing started in Jerusalem, from Jerusalem, and really to be a good and genuine and efficient new evangelisation we must go back to the first community. Any big event in the Church must go back to Jerusalem, start with Jerusalem, and really start again with Jerusalem to be a genuine and a good one.”

Patriarch Twal says that he would encourage his fellow Bishops to visit the Holy Land with their seminarians, their priests and their communities. “Come to see what we call the living stones, and encourage us, share with us our fears, our joys, our aspiration. Share with us the prayer, we need the prayer, to come back to prayer.”

He said that, despite the difficulties for Christians in the Middle East, it was important for the community to move beyond its own boundaries. “Any good faith and evangelism must be open to others with more bridges and less walls.”

World's Biggest Dome is not anymore the Iglesia ni Cristo Arena

With its short-lived jubilation, the Iglesia ni Cristo's "Philippine Arena" is NOT anymore the biggest dome in the world.

Singapore's National sports stadium ("Singapore Sports Hub") is now officially the biggest dome in the world when completed in 2014 which coincides with the completion date of the Iglesia's Philippine Arena.  

While Singapore's National Stadium will be used for national and international sports events and other international world cups, the INC's Philippine Arena will be used for its Centennial Founding Anniversary.  The Iglesia ni Cristo church was founded by Felix Manalo in July 27, 1914.

Iglesia Ni Cristo Purchases New Seattle HQ

Iglesia Ni Cristo purchased the industrial property located at 7100 42nd St. S in Seattle, WA for $4.3 million, or about $176 per square foot. The building was used by Miracle Temple Church of God in Christ for religious and community events for more than ten years.

The 24,472-square-foot property was constructed in 1968. The site was reported to have oil contamination issues, which lead to a lengthy negotiation process, but it turns out the issue had been resolved by the previous owner and was not reflected on record.

Iglesia Ni Cristo plans to renovate the space; they are currently waiting on the permits from the county. The space will serve as its new headquarters location for the Washington region.

Roosevelt Hubbard of Prudential RNT Real Estate represented the seller. Tialyne Landon of Realty Plus, Inc. represented the buyer.

Newport church re-opens for worship after £1.6m revamp

A 100-YEAR-OLD former church in Newport that served as a performing arts academy has been returned to its use as a place of worship after a £1.6 million project.

The Philippines-based Iglesia Ni Cristo, which translates to Church of Christ, has renovated the Grade I-listed Burleigh Hall in Llanthewy Road, Newport, to be a base for its congregation stretching from West Wales to the West Country.

Note: Felix Manalo was never baptized in the Iglesia which for them makes him equal with John the Baptist.  Notice the "Father, Son and Holy Spirit" but not the Trinity; their teachings on "Christian Unity" is not on Ecumenism but unity within themselves as members of the Iglesia ni Cristo.  They remain deeply unbending, rigid, anti-Catholic in all their teachings. They do not have official representative on Christian Ecumenism. They detest every church that teaches Christ as God and hated the Doctrine of the Trinity.

What’s the difference?

Is the usual remark we hear from some people when the Iglesia Ni Cristo is introduced to them. It is a perfectly sound and legitimate question to ask considering that there are so many religions today vying against each other, and making claims and counterclaims that theirs is the best church to affiliate one’s self with.

Many people had joined one religion after another without having noticed any substantial difference among those religions. Some of them even felt they had been tricked; others downright deceived. From such sad experiences some of them make a sweeping conclusion that all religions are the same. And depending on the degree of their disillusionment they become indifferent to religion, or overly cautious or altogether shy away from any religion. Some of them even become anti- religion. But that should not be the case.

While there are so many false religions in the world today, this fact alone does not warrant the conclusion that all religions are false. There is a true religion, one which worships and serves the true God based on His true words written in the Bible. Everyone owes it to God and to himself to find this true religion. And one may start searching by asking how one religion differs from the other.

Do Catholics Base Their Beliefs On Tradition And Not The Bible?

Misconception: Catholic’s base their beliefs on tradition and don’t really read the Bible.

True Catholic Teaching: The teaching authority of the Catholic Church is obtained both from Sacred Scripture, Sacred Tradition and the Magesterium. The Magesterium is the teaching authority of the Church comprised of the Church’s Bishops, led by the Pope to interpret the truths of the Faith. Catholics believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God. It is a gift from God that reveals His great plan of salvation for us all. However, since it was written by humans at a specific time and in a specific place, Catholics do not believe that everything we need to know about God is contained in the pages of Scripture. As John says at the end of his Gospel, “There are also many other things that Jesus did, but if these were to be described individually, I do not think the whole world would contain the books that would be written.” The Catholic Church’s Traditions are those things that the Apostles witnessed and handed down by word of mouth and by example over the years, but were not recorded in the final version of the Bible.

The idea of sola scriptura is one that is very prevalent in Protestant denominations. Sola scriptura is the notion that scripture alone is the foundation of faith, and contains all revealed truth in Christianity. A common misconception that Protestants hold is that since Catholics do not believe in sola scriptura, we therefore do not know the bible, and do not promote the importance of reading and applying the teachings of sacred scripture to our lives. However, this understanding of Catholicism is not correct.

Again, the teaching authority of the Catholic Church is obtained both from Sacred Scripture, Sacred Tradition and the Magesterium. Protestants tend to overlook the importance of Sacred Tradition in an effort to hold scripture as their sole basis of faith. Catholics do observe Sacred Scripture with high importance, as it is the inspired word of God. It is actually through the eyes of apostolic Tradition that scripture can be most fully understood, because they are so closely tied. The Second Vatican Council on Divine Revelation, says:

“Hence there exists a close connection and communication between sacred Tradition and sacred Scripture. For both of them, flowing from the same divine wellspring, in a certain way merge into a unity and tend toward the same end.”

The composition of the New Testament in fact, was not begun until nearly two decades after Christ’s death, and the books were slowly completed during the span of about fifty years. During this time, Christianity was based solely on tradition. That is, the teachings that were passed down from Christ’s apostles, which were received from the lips of Jesus, or through divine revelation or inspiration. The Second Vatican Council on Divine Revelation, says:

“For sacred Scripture is the word of God inasmuch as it is consigned to writing under the inspiration of the divine Spirit. To the successors of the apostles, sacred Tradition hands on in its full purity God’s word, which was entrusted to the apostles by Christ the Lord and the Holy Spirit.”

Christ instituted His Church as the authentic authority to interpret scripture, and to transmit, instruct, and explain the essential tenets of Christianity. It is in this way that the teaching authority of the Catholic Church utilizes both Sacred Scripture as well as Sacred Tradition to guide the faithful.

Undoubtedly, the most controversial and divisive bill ever introduced in Congress is the “Responsible Parenthood, Reproductive Health, Population and Development” bill (RH bill). It is due to the machinations of international organizations and foreign entities which are trying to impose on us their own agenda of population control by means of a law (the RH bill) providing for universal access to artificial methods of birth control like contraception and sterilization.

More unfortunate is that in pushing for this RH bill, its foreign funded proponents and supporters concentrate their attack on the Catholic Church for its allegedly outmoded teachings against contraception and sterilization. And when the Church prelates responded to the attack by defending the Church teaching, they are even branded as “bishops at war”. Actually, the bishops are opposing the bill merely because, as good shepherds, they have to protect their flock from going astray or sinning, and from the known evil effects and dire consequences of contraception promoted by the bill.
